This was a sweet first stop after the first leg of our six day walking trip along the Cotswold Way. We were looking for a classic tea and scone experience and Lucy's hit the spot with their delicious tea menu (enjoyed the chocolate cake tea) and both fruited and non fruited scones to accompany clotted cream. They also offer a breakfast and lunch menu if you're looking for something more substantial. You really can't beat their outdoor seating in the back courtyard - it's both cozy and covered for the frequent rainy days. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and based on how bustling it was, it seems that we weren't the only fans in town.

I heard about Lucy's from a YouTube video and I had my mind made up to try this on our trip. I am so glad I did! Lucy's is a little gem. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious! My son got an omelette and he said it was delicious. My husband and I got afternoon tea for two. The scones were the best I have ever eaten. The tea was also delicious and they have a huge selection to choose from. I bought some of the tea to take home. I wish this special place was in my home town.

This place is so charming with the friendliest staff. We had the tea service and the scones were the best scones I've ever had. We had several scones during our trip across the UK and nothing compared to Lucy's! Im serious! However the sandwhiches were not great. The bread was dry and pretty bland and flavorless overall. The cakes were delicious! I would recommend just ordering tea and scones, and any cakes that look good to you.

The best scones I've ever had! Even made my husband a believer! Shop is very cute and welcoming. The tea was wonderful, and I'll be thinking of this place for a while now :)

Cheese and tomatoe Sammy and half brie and bacon Sammy

We were on a day tour through the Cotswolds, and had only about an hour to stop and eat somewhere. There were so many options but this cute quaint place was screaming our name so of course we went here. The service was so great, you can tell this is all family ran and the inside decor was so cute. I ordered the brie bacon sandwich and my mom got the cheese and tomatoes. They were both delicious, as well as the side salads!? And the tea omg, it was exactly what we needed. If you have time to stop, because the service was perfectly timed, I would go here!!!

A favorite place for my husband and I to have hot tea, finger sandwiches, cake, and a scone with cream.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're met with that quintessential Cotswold feel--low beamed ceilings, warm wooden floors, and a cozy, intimate atmosphere that works just as well for a relaxed lunch as it does for a intimate dinner. It's quaint without trying too hard, and you can feel the history in the space. The staff are genuinely cheerful and welcoming, adding to the overall experience without being overbearing. Service flows naturally, you order your food and drinks at the bar before heading to your table. As for the food, it absolutely delivers. From the main courses, everything is thoughtfully prepared and satisfying, rounding out an experience that feels both comforting and a little special at the same time. If you're looking for a true taste of the Cotswolds--both in atmosphere and hospitality--Porch House Restaurant is a spot well worth visiting.

Check in was a breeze and oh so glad I had an overnight bag as there is no lift. The accomadations were just wonderful, from the comfy bed, the linens and the available drinks. We enjoyed Dinner in the Hotel's restaurant (we did have reservations) and it was memorable. The morning breakfast service and available choices were a delight and such attentive service. I must add that this Hotel is located in one gem of a town and one I will definitely be revisiting. Parking can be a pain, but definitely worth it.

Smoked salmon, prawn, and avocado with lemon and dill mayo (2/5): could use some work. The salmon and prawn weren't thoroughly seasoned and flavored. As a result, it made the texture feel like I was eating slime and wasn't pleasant. The greens were good though. I also wish there were more avocados. Overall, Cotswold Baguette is a small and tiny shop known more for their sandwiches. If you really do want a salad I would stay away from the ones that contain seafood or get it without it.

Lots of sandwich options - all on the housemade baguette AND made to order too! - with many vegetarian and vegan choices. We had the Avocado, Sweet Potato Falafel, & Tomato Chutney (£4.30, vegan) and the Brie & Cranberry sandwiches (£3.80, vegetarian). They were equally delicious in their own right, generously filled, and satisfying! I would absolutely order both of them again! Despite the crowd, the small space was clean and the staff was friendly (taking an extra moment to verify vegan ingredients, for example; and not just for us, but we overheard them checking-in with everyone in line about their order). And they moved people through the queue quite quickly. We brought our sandwiches to St Edward's Church and had a picnic. There's lots of other things to get here too if sandwiches aren't your thing (but these really should be) like salads, baked potatoes, cakes, Scotch eggs, and sausage rolls!
