For everyone else, if you're looking for a decent baguette crafted in the belly of a barge, then the aptly named 'Baguette Barge' has you covered. They have a bit of a heavy hand when it comes to mayo and cranberry relish, but the baguettes are cheap and the park is your outdoor seating. Could do a lot worse.

There isn't really an address for this place because it's literally a barge on the water. But when…read moreI was studying abroad in England and stayed in Stratford-Upon-Avon for a few weeks, I had baguettes from the Baguette Barge EVERY DAY for lunch. It's really because I don't particularly like English food. But I looved the baguettes here. The bread was sweet and the ingredients were fresh. I always got something with cucumbers in it and I looked forward to every bite and every cucumber. It's also in a great location - right on the water by a nice patch of grass where you can have a nice picnic when it's not raining. I really hope the Baguette Barge is still there, even though I probably won't ever go back to Stratford-Upon-Avon. :(

They do quite a good range of food and drink, and the service is friendly and everything comes in good time. Only quibble is that the toilets are upstairs. Always busy. Also do take away. Even that was fairly miserable and the service wasn't brilliant either, and it didn't help that they don't accept card. Needs ice for drinks and a vegan breakfast. Vegan breakfasts should be easy - you just need a clean area away from meat and dairy, a good vegan sausage, hash browns, bubble & squeak, tomatoes, mushroom, toast and there you go, you'd open yourself up to a whole new load of customers. I'd definitely go back.

Giving this restaurant a 2 star review only because the panini I got was actually delicious…read more However, I have never felt more disrespected in a place before. My friend and I were on our 45 minute (very quick) lunch break in between classes and popped by starbucks for her and then this place for me. We got in and I immediately began ordering my food while my friend sat down and got us a table. She was eating her almond croissant while I finished ordering and was immediately yelled at by the owner for "disrespecting" the business. While I understand eating a chain croissant in a local restaurant can be disrespectful, I still find it incredibly rude that I, a paying customer, could not have a peaceful order as the owner was then basically kicking us out. My friend was extremely complacent and apologetic and was still yelled at as we waited for my sandwich. We were then forced to wait outside in the cold for my sandwich because of the ordeal. I find it even more disheartening that as a paying customer could not wait inside for my sandwich, while other customers who were doing the same thing, got to wait in the warmth. It was just such a bad experience and I would not recommend to eat in as you may be disappointed by the staff and their lack of customer service and respect for tourists. In a city as widely-known as "Stratford-Upon-Avon" you would think you want as much business as possible right? Well, that doesn't seem like the truth here and I wanted no more than to revoke my order and payment and take my business elsewhere. I have never seen this sort of behavior from any restaurant anywhere, even as a person who has worked in customer service for a major part of my life, I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning, even if the sandwich was really good. It's really not worth my time or anyone's time or money if you are going to get yelled at.
