This place is truly a gem! The owners are so friendly and food was delicious. I wanted to try a cream tea during our time in the UK so I spent a lot of time researching - this tearoom did not disappoint! The scones were fresh and warm and the clotted cream was incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Cotswolds!

We stopped by Lucy's Tearoom on our trip to Cotswold. It was rainy and cold day so some hot tea and…read morescones sounded delightful. We were sat upstairs near the window and it was nice and quiet there. Everything we ordered was delicious and we enjoyed our time here. Scone with cream and jam. I ordered plain scone. It was delicious. Warm fresh scone served with yummy cream and jam. I also ordered the chocolate cake tea with the scone and it was surprisingly good. Had some chocolate flavor and tasted good with milk. Hubby ordered Mac and cheese and it was served piping hot with a slice of garlic bread. Pretty good too! Kiddo ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows and a chocolate cake. The cake itself was soft and moist and not overly sweet. Went well with the tea and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate seemed standard and she seemed to like it. The place is not overly pricey for a touristy place. Service was also good and friendly.

The jam and cream were significantly superior to others I've had. There was also a wide selection of tea and some really funky and interesting ones as well! If I travel to the Cotswold again, I will surely be visiting Lucy's tearoom. The vibe was also cozy and welcoming. The service was a little slower but probably because we were seated on the second floor.

Yum! I have to…read moreadmit I was a bit worried about this when my husband and I wandered in during our brief 1-hour stop here on a day-trip with a guided tour company. We were pointed to this place as a good and popular spot with those on our trip so we decided to take the advice of others and give it a go. It's small and nondescript from the street but we walked in and found a bustling coffee shop vibe with folks sitting on comfy chairs and couches in the main part near a fireplace and some seating in the back. We squeezed in between two couples (one with a dog laying down beside their table) and were provided menus. They also have an outdoor terrace space you can eat at but it was a bit cold for that. Their menu features several coffee drinks, sandwiches (either on bread, as a baguette or panini), burgers, and some traditional English fare like some bangers and mash daily special I saw. I went with the chicken panini which was basically just roast chicken breast sliced in small chewable pieces, with mayonnaise, chives, and tomato. It was absolutely delicious and was served with a small house salad with balsamic dressing. My husband ordered their burger but opted to only get the burger with a bun and ketchup and mayonnaise bc he has the sophisticated palette of a third grader. Still, he said it was "OK". He ordered a mocha and said it was delicious. The older couple on our right were very nice and we had a pleasant conversation with them about travel and life in general. They ordered cake and ice cream and it looked delicious but we decided to be good. We had a very good experience here and a very good meal. I left happy and full and felt good about what I had eaten. I saw a sign on their wall that said they don't serve fast food, they serve good food as fast as they can. And they did! Well worth a stop in if you are in this area of the Cotswolds.
