Been wanting to see what this celebrity owned "marijuana lounge" is all about since it opened It has been described as " a tranquil oasis defined by a lush consumption lounge and refined design, offering California's finest organic, sun-grown cannabis" and I was intrigued, especially since several friends have been raving about it. I am no lemming so, I wanted to see for myself and then opine. The dispensary walls upon entering are jam-packed with every cannabis related option available from edibles, flower, accessories, vapes, pre-rolls, drinks etc and frankly, it was a bit overwhelming! They do accept credit cards which is not always the case at other dispensaries and that definitely was a plus. The Bud-tenders were knowledgeable and helpful. Another plus! Prices are VERY reasonable! Walking into the open lounge area, we only could sit at a high-top table which was not ideal. My friend who I went with immediately asked to be in a cabana $150 for 90 minutes ( which is a glassed in room that was beautifully appointed with comfortable seating, fantastic vibes and privacy)... there are many private rooms for parties at a cost. Otherwise, people sat at tables, smoked and joked, and seemed quite happy... They have 2 large gorgeous, blue parrots that hang out ( well looked after by the staff)... tbh, these beautiful creatures scared me a little, but they are all part of the experience!!! 2 of my friends showed up and we all sat in our cabana for 90 minutes having a blast!!! We all enjoyed ourselves and we laughed and laughed and laughed with one another the entire time! The products were great to share with each other! Having said all this, the big question is "will I return ?" The answer is probably not any time extra soon... It was a great experience, and I am so happy I checked it out. I remain open to visiting again on any special occasion or when friends are visiting! IT IS QUITE WORTH DOING!!! There are fire pits and little nooks and cranny's you can sit and just 'escape'. I saw an ad in the hii magazine and made a note to visit in the future. Omg it was fantastic and the air was crispy after the rain yesterday. They have a good selection of sun grown organic flower! The staff are friendly and polite as if I am their honored (and slightly confused) guest. The vibes are great and it feels very safe as long as you keep your face away from the shiny big birds! I had to remove my earrings at the advise of staff because nobody can predict what these majestic creatures might do to my dangly things. The koi are voluptuous and vibrant. Their equipment is clean. Brianna and the guy babysitting the birds work their tails off and do a great job. Communication between staff seems good and customers are treated well. I feel like I can relax alone here even with my disability. Whoever is behind this little adult playground knows what's up--they had a toolbox with nibs and I had a ball organizing them while high as a kite. The staff, including Frank, who is one of the best Customer Service individuals I have ever interacted with (whatever he's making, he deserves a raise) are intelligent, and sensory aware. Got lost in the vibes here, hung with my buddy Mike, and my brother John. This well crafted environment (including a super cool koi pond) helped my artistic abilities flow and develop beyond normal levels. Communication upgrades, emotional understanding, everything, shoots out the roof here. You will leave The Woods a more evolved person than you entered. Whether it's hanging around with a $20 J purchased from the front, or dropping $500 on a cabana with food and drinks delivered for a few hours, treat yourself to a time at The Woods Weho, you will most certainly be glad you did, and never forget it. This is for the cafe next door! I could not find a separate yelp listing, but they are owned by the same establishment. Popped in for some coffee and pastries. We got the following - Cappuccino - Iced matcha with honey - Ham and Cheese Crossiant - Herb toma cheese danish Cappucino was standard and so was the matcha. There were some chunks in the matcha that weren't well combined. My friend also got a matcha and he noticed some clumps too, so maybe adding sweetener/ syrup causes clumps? I ended up using a straw and avoiding the bottom of the cup so it worked out fine! We were pleasantly surprised by the pastries. Flakey and flavorful! Went here for a friends birthday and they reserved one of the cabanas. Upon arrival, we learned you had to buy something or pay $10 per person. Upon entry is the dispensary counter. At first glance, I didn't see any brands that I'm familiar with but we bought a pack of pre rolls which were about $45. The flower quality was ok. Very light intensity, barely felt the high. The grounds are pretty but feel a pinch tight on space. The cabana was cute and came with a tv to play some tunes. They also provided a bong and water plus cups. Service was tricky. We weren't sure they delivered the drinks to us so we went to the bar ourselves. There's no alcohol but my lemonade was solid. Overall, I think this place is a solid visit for a quick hang out. Came here on a Saturday just after having coffee down the street. We've been wanting to check this place out and I did need to do a restock on my Kiva chocolate. The staff in the shop were phenomenal. After my purchase staff told me about the lounge area and how we were free to head back there. They mentioned how the menus at the table were for the attached cafe and we could order off the barcode on the menu. They also mentioned their elixir bar. We headed back looked around and then I went up to the bar. The bartender was tending to someone so I reached for the menu display they had on the counter. The bartender stopped and explained that the menu was for cafe which was next door. When I asked where the bat menu was I got "That would be me and I need to take care of this person first." in a bitchy tone like I demanded to be served immediately and before anyone else. It was such a strange and uncalled for interaction that even the woman he was tending to looked shocked. At this point I just turned around, grabbed the rest of my group and headed out. Looking at reviews I see the same bartender was mentioned in a negative review for what seems like another out of nowhere rude interaction. Definitely won't be back. I ordered some goodies from the front and was granted access to the lounge area. I order a few utensils to help with our session. We found a quiet little nook in the back by the koi pond. When I looked up I saw this cool parrot! Every time I coughed he laughed at me. I ordered some food from the QR code. It was some delicious tea called "Happy Valley" and a chocolate croissant that was warmed up. They delivered it straight to our little cubby corner. This place is relaxing, has beautiful vibes/energy, and great treats n eats. Woody did an amazing job and I'm grateful that I got to experience something like this. I booked a cabana online for a birthday gathering, then called the shop directly to upgrade it to a double session -- and that change was confirmed over the phone. Three days later, I got a notification that my reservation time had been pushed out an hour with no explanation. When I called to ask what happened, I was told a manager would call me back. That call didn't come until 2pm the day before my event -- for a party I'd already invited 9 people to. The manager told me he had no idea how I'd been able to book the slot in the first place, because it had actually been reserved for a "buyout" and that I would not be able to have a cabana at all. His "solution" was to comp me a single session the next day -- half of what I had actually reserved. When I explained that I wasn't available and this wasn't an adequate fix -- I was being asked to cut my event in half and change the date, less than 24 hours out, for a party of 10 -- he hung up on me. I called back immediately and was told he was "in a meeting" and unavailable. To be clear about the sequence: I booked, I called to confirm an upgrade, that upgrade was confirmed, and only after all of that did the shop discover its own scheduling conflict. That's not a mistake I made -- it's one they made and then tried to offset by giving me less than half of what I was owed, with no real alternative, at the last possible moment, on my birthday. Good service means owning an error like that and making it right -- not quietly downgrading the customer's booking and calling it compensation. Instead I got a lopsided offer and a hang-up when I pushed back. read more

Why on earth would this facility have these birds stuck here inhaling smoke all day? These parrots need to be rescued -- this is cruel, this is inhumane, this is absolutely f**ked. A rescue organization needs to get involved. The Woods -- why would you do this?? Rehome these birds -- get them rescued. Stop subjecting them to noise and smoke inhalation. What are you thinking? Prior to arriving, I had found out that the time slots available on opentable are not accurate to the actual reservation times. My 2 week old reservation was almost canceled the day before due to a time error from opentable. In the Living Room Cabana, the tv did not connect to wifi, nor did it really work. There was also a poor sound system in the room. The budtenders are also extremely slow so expect a long wait even if there's only 2 people in front of you. However, the ambiance of the overall lounge is great. Would not recommend booking a cabana, just walk in. read more

Came to The Woods for my birthday and yeah... the rude staff reviews are accurate. The woman at the front dispensary had the worst attitude for no reason. I had a couple questions since it was my first time and she was immediately annoyed and condescending instead of just being helpful. The pricing is also hard to justify. The flower is significantly marked up compared to other dispensaries that carry the exact same products. On top of that, you either pay a $10 cover per person to access the lounge or spend $20+ per person (pre-tax) at the dispensary to get in "for free." It ends up feeling like you're being forced to overspend just to sit down. They do offer a 15% birthday discount, which sounded great! Until checkout. I used my husband's card while he was standing right next to me, and I was told I couldn't use the discount unless the card was in my name. I understand businesses have policies, but the way this was communicated felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive. That said, once you get past the front, the space itself is actually beautiful and the concept is great. The staff in the back lounge were much more welcoming and helpful, which made a noticeable difference. Overall, this is one of those places that's nice to try once for the ambiance, but the initial customer service left such a poor impression that I wouldn't return. read more

Came here on a Wednesday to celebrate a friends birthday. I found street parking pretty quickly but I can see how it'd be hard on the weekends. There's someone that will check your ID at the door, make sure that it's not expired! Someone in our party got turned away because their license JUST expired. After that they give you wristbands and a ticket number. In order to enter the lounge area, you need to make a purchase at the store or at the "bar". They serve a mix of coffee, teas, matcha lemonades, ginger ale etc and canned infused drinks (so no alcohol). There's a bar next store that you can access through a hall by the restrooms but no alcoholic drinks are allowed in the lounge area. I think this has more to do with some kind of law than the business's own preference? Use of products not purchased in store and other tobacco items are prohibited. So no cigarettes or vapes! We ended up getting a pre roll and some gummy edibles and I thought everything was pretty reasonably priced so yay! The ambiance was really nice inside and it def feels like you've been transported somewhere else outside of LA. The koi pond with the water stream provided such a calm relaxing atmosphere and the lighting made it just bright enough to see where you're going. We had a cabana and the ac was doing work! It's been hot in LA and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. If you're looking for a place to par take in cannabis with a very relaxing atmosphere, I'd highly recommend this place! read more

While I think overall this place needs more seating or standing tables for people, I think it's a fun space to come and chill even if you're not a smoker! So we wanted to go to a chill place were we could relax smoke and watch the games. So we rented a cabana! DON'T DO IT! It was over priced and you didn't get anything for the amount of money that you have to spend for the cabana. The kitchen closed early so if you want food you have to either bring it with you or DoorDash food. The internet connection was HORRIBLE! Nothing worked. We couldn't watch the games or listen to music on the TV! The wraps that they provide or sale you are horrible! It's like thick paper and if you can't even taste the flowers. They don't come back there to check on you, they don't see if you need water cups or anything. Again I wouldn't recommend you renting a cabana there. If you just want to hang out and chill for a few hrs then I would do that but anything additional I wouldn't recommend having any events there! Said they only operate on a same day entry situation which at first I understood but then why would I need to pay the $10 if my $20 purchase grants me into the lounge regardless that I made earlier? 10/10 for me, this is the first time I've ever had a shop using a self browse format be more enjoyable than hanging with a tender. Security up front was awesome. The shelves are artistically placed around the room, which could be frustrating for a quick pickup, but I'm sure they have a pickup option or something. The room had a bird up front which was pretty epic to see while shopping, and the products themselves are decent, just your typical lineup with a few artesian selections as well. The tenders also knew what they were talking about actively recommending deals. Overall the price is decent if you're getting something on sale (LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE).
