This is my first-ever Yelp review, and while it isn't solely about the bounty, giving credit and praise where absolutely due are the best reasons for me to do so. First, the security staff. Whomever called them hostile in an earlier review? That has never been my experience in the several years I've been a patient; in fact, the complete opposite. I and I'm sure many others feel safe there because of them...they are friendly but firm, which I appreciate. They rock and know what they're doing. I thank them for that (looking at you in particular, Thomas!). Speaking of rocking, the budtenders are the best. Evelyn and the other young lady (I apologize for not knowing your name) who help me with my purchases almost every week, they too know what they're doing. More than a few times I have witnessed them guide new patients through the ins and outs of options, from flower to edibles to potency to everything else - as they did for me my first time there and every time I've asked. They have that nowadays-rare mix of knowledge, compassion, professionalism, and just being themselves. They've helped - DO help - many of us. And I thank them for that. The overall vibe is very nice and chill, from music and not-bright lighting to displays to the big screens to the merchandise itself. The ordering process has been recently upgraded and makes selection and purchase a breeze. Fellow patients seem to be on the same general wavelength despite our varying walks of life - we come here for our own reasons, our own pains, conditions and needs; to have a collective positive energy through that process is invaluable. I'm not fond of running errands after working all day - sometimes it's too damned much - but this place is a welcome treat for me to hit up at the end of the day. Truly "Zen", if I may say (haha). And, of course, I must raise a glass (bowl) to Mama. Cool and dry-humored and wise, plus she always has treats on hand for patients' pets (their pet-friendly environment is yet another reason I'm a fan...animals never fail to sweeten the deal for me). this place is soooooo awesome! i used to hate it only because of the rude guys behind the counter. i hadnt been there in nearly a year but heard that they were giving out free gift bags to every patient on 4/20. i was in the neighborhood and decided to drop by again to check out what kind of selection they had and to pick up my gift bag. man! they have a HUGE selection. their board is packed with a variety of strains AND prices start at $25 per 1/8th to accomodate the economic hard times and more for premium items. amazing selection of edibles from caramel popcorn, to chex mix, to gourmet truffles, to sodas, to teas, to caramels, to LISTERINE STRIPS! what will they think of next??! staff was knowledgeable and friendly... and to top it off, i saw SNOOP DOG there! yes... SNOOP DOG himself! a few days later, HIEDI and SPENCER from THE HILLS! i couldnt believe it! this MUST be the HOT SPOT. good thing for the change in staff or management! its my new favorite spot and i love it... i wont go any where else now! read more

i love this place! I have been to a LOT of different dispensaries and this is definitely one of the best! First of all, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Although the place is small, the ceilings are high and there's a good atmosphere. The flower counter is in the front, and there are two vending machines in the back filled with treats! By treats I mean hash, oils and extracts, capsules, joints, grams, and 2oz bottles of shake (great deals there). So great! Donation prices span the board from cheap to pricey, and there is a lot to choose from. This place has everything! You can surely make it work with whatever budget you have for your meds, and walk out feeling satisfied! Also, the clientele is so good! This place, mostly due to its location, is good for some REALLY amazing people-watching. I always enjoy myself when I go to this collective! read more

Anyone who has had a problem at Zen Healing mustve been in an extremely bad mood... something even a free joint cant fix. It is a little bit more expensive than the other dispensaries in the area but I can definitely tell you it's worth it and the staff is AMAZING. They treat you right every time, they're knowledgeable, super friendly and have the best attitude in the area. They have a huge selection- everything from "medical" soda, popcorn, $5 chocolate truffles, baked goods to their bomb ass weed... Like I said the staff is super friendly so if you have questions, theyre always down to help you. Things I love about Zen Healing: -Budda Juice! -Buy three get one free! This is clinic is dope!, for those who dont know where to go for cheap Alternate-medicine and are in dire need for a cool, chill place to re-load. i reccomend The Zen-Healing Clinic to those who are eligible for alternate medicine, as I give this place a total of five stars, not only is it like being treated in a five-tar hotel when i go, but also because of the hospitality and comfort the employees exemplify which makes it friendly and unique place where you walk in and suddently become stress-free. The rear parking, its location and price are great; the vending machine inside is awesome! its on santa monica blvd, and no need of concern with parking headaches , as this is not a hastle to get parking, making it a perfect speedy experiance. for those reading this..GO! It is a pleasure to comment on The Zen-Healing Cannabis Clinic. the Clinic is an amazing place where the staff are pleasant, environment is kind and friendly-but most of all extraordinary! it is within walking distance and it is convenient with all the daily deals they have, like low-cost top notch herbal medicine. They even have a vending machine for quick-n-dirty deals, however i like to personally be assisted by the friendly , courteous staff whom i chat with while taking care of business. Another thing is the location. I recommend the Zen-Healing Cannabis Clinic to all alternate-medicine patients, as it is "The Dopest" clinic than any other within A15 MILE RADIUS! This place is not good. I made an account just to let people know about how bad this place was. I'm not one to leave reviews, negative or positive, but... I went in here yesterday afternoon and the staff couldn't have been more rude. When the guy took my ID he forgot to give it back. When I went in he insisted that he had given it back but he had not. I grabbed it off the desk and he didn't even apologize. The meds were overpriced and after that exchange with the guard I wasn't inclined to spend the outrageous prices they demanded. It also wasn't too fun being hassled by the bums on Santa Monica while I walked to my car. Please note that all of the other reviews of this place are months if not years old. not a good place to go, the employees there make you feel like they just trying to rush you, they look like if they don't even want to be there them selfs, i was looking for some good sativas and the were trying to sell me indicas, what kind of business are they trying to run, then to top it up they tell me to write a good review and they'll give me a free gift, i rather help everyone who really need help to avoid this type of bad experience, i wouldn't return back. i would keep away and go anywhere but here, atleast now we know why everyone else write good reviews on this place, they get paid with weed, but its all not real. if don't believe me, try at your own risk, don't recomment read more

I've been going to Zen healing for at least 10 years now. I really want to express my sincere appreciation for their unequaled kindness and top quality cannabis. They're a very friendly group, always cheerful and attentive to their custumers from the owner down to the newest employee. All of them know what talking about to an expert level. Prices are always fair and competetive. I live on the westside and cant find any store that compares with the quality at Zen healing. I went to Amsterdam a few years back and pissed evryone off when I let them know that NOTHING in their entire city can compare the selection at Zen. Im not exaggerating. Nothing. I went to Zen Healing as a first time patient because I was in the area and needed my medication which was a HUGE mistake.....the staff was unfriendly and for a gram they directed me to a VENDING MACHINE! I was uneasy about getting my medicine out of a machine but I did it anyway, another HUGE mistake! When I got home the medicine was dry and didn't look anything like what they showed me in the shop......it wasn't a great experience at all. I also heard they got raided and shut down I don't know why, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were because the service and medication sucked. read more

The only good thing about this place is the location. I found the place while taking the #4 bus and decided to get off at santa monica and la cienega to go check it out, which was a waste of time. If your broke like me and have a limited budget for medication then this is not the place to go. For a decent 1/8 you will have to pay at least $50 or go to a vending machine with horrible quality stuff. As for the top shelf, its really not worth the prices they ask. This is a honest opinion not to bash this clinic but THE VENDING MACHINE IS THE WORST IDEA YOU GUYS COULD HAVE!! I get the gist of what they were trying to do but they failed miserably the medication in the machines is old, dry and NOT what they label it AND when I came I didn't even fill out any paperwork which is pretty sketch and some patients entering weren't even being checked in SHEESH I was terrified just being there because it felt as though they were running a "dirty" operation I got in and out of that place as quick as I could.....and I'm never going back read more
