I used to love this place, but today I had the worst customer service at the cash register. The lady took forever with ringing up my purchase and when I asked what the problem was or why it was taking so long, because 3 other customers who came in after me was done before the lady at the register could finish processing my order. Instead of being apologetic, (she's an older lady they call Mama.) she was extremely combative, rude, and even yelled at me. I'm the customer and no one should be treated with such disrespect. I don't think I will ever come back here again. Ive been buying products here for a year. If I could give zero stars for my treatment today, I would. It's time to say good bye Zen. Horrible experience. They accepted my order on Weedmaps. I got a text from their company welcoming me to their company etc. I received no updates on my order so I decided to call. They had no idea why I was calling and made it seem like they're doing me a favor to send me my order. Then after confirming with me they call me to tell me they needed my Drivers license. I said no problem I'll email or text it to you. The guy turned that down and said it had to happen on Weedmaps. I said I tried on Weedmaps but it didn't work. He said he would ask his manager but didn't and told me it wouldn't work. So I waited over an hour for my order for nothing. I could have ordered from someplace else or just gone to a shop myself. Strange, kinda creepy place and people. I was the only "customer" in the store & 3 employees who just stared without speaking. One had her head stuck out a little door/window, just staring. Reward I got something for $25, they charge 30% sales tax. Online the sales tax is 9.5% for weho. Also they round up your purchase and give you the change. There excuse is that they use a system that is an atm. Smh. And also $3.50 for a card transaction. So basically they charged my card $40.50 for something that started off $25. Since.. once upon a time, when Andrew first opened it. The OG staff were literally the best and the newest current staff had to pretty big shoes to fill & they've certainly succeeded, in spades!! Every bud-tender, security staff, product advisors, cashiers, management, delivery drivers, èt al are ALL amazing. On every level. Always kind, professional and beyond knowledgeable and honest about sharing their recommendations as well as their own personal experiences regarding a strain, brand, etc. Etc. Etc. I've never been disappointed w/ any order regardless of being an in-person visit, vending machine purchase or delivered goodies. Their "lowest caliber" product is better than many top shelf product sold at competing dispensaries. Prices are reasonable and very fair reflective of the quality, potency and medicinal affects. Whether shopping for medical needs or just something to brighten my mood/take the edge off a bit, they are all experts in which strain and what form of product to advise. I hv been delivered vapes that didn't work or broke soon after opening and they've always been honest & fair in standing behind their products/brands that they choose to represent and sell to their patients and always quickly replaced the manufacturer defect items being exchanged or delivered to me via free delivery. When I'm in hermit-mode their website is so easy to order from. No having to see or speak w/ anyone other than receiving from their driver.
