Love this place. I've lived in the area for a while now, but visited for the first time Friday. My friend who happens to be my neighbor has come by a few times on her own. I walk in and first asked about the use of the yelp groupon deal, Spend $50 for $70. The girl Jasmine had no clue about it nor how to use it so she pulled another girl over to show her. Firstly, these people that work at this weed store are pretty incompetent. Little to no knowledge on the products. They seemed too high to function let alone work the job. The person that 'helped' me also showed no interest to disclose fees or their "Upcharge" bullshit before using a debit card. Here is what went wrong other than going to this location: I purchased a $70 vape pen, so i used my groupon coupon.. which should make the total to ZERO $0 dollars, only to pay the taxes. I asked the girl Jasmine several times to explain what the total will be and she kept saying that she cant look at the breakdown or otherwise she will have to do the transaction all over again. I asked specifically what the $26 amount is for, if its for the taxes, they kept brushing off answering me directly as if they knew nothing or were being scammy. They charged me: $26 + $3.00 debit card fee + UPCHARGE of $0.96 which they refunded in cash, apparently thats a thing if you ask about the upcharge. So total spent $33.50 plus the $50 spent on yelp for the $70 voucher. The receipt: Yelp voucher $70 - They only deducted -$49.00 Subtotal 69.99 discount 49.00 Taxes: 3.15 2.41 2.52 Taxes total on receipt: $8.08 Receipt shows there is 20.99 being paid for the Vape. Full discount not given. I paid $30 (they upcharge to nearest dollar and give cash refund for the change..wtf) plus $3.00 debit card charge. I reviewed the receipt in the car, the numbers do not add up so i go back in to talk to someone other than Jasmine since she was less than helpful and knowledgeable the first time. A guy comes over and looks at the receipt, i explain the numbers on the receipt do not add up, but they insist that they are right, talking to each other, the two even pulled out their phones to calculate whatever and show each other saying "yeah its right". I swear, it was like watching a movie about two potheads trying to convince someone of their own opinion, I asked if they can understand what I was explaining and how the receipt is wrong and the charges do not add up, yet that was ignored. I walked out frustrated without any resolution or even them acknowledging they understand the error in the receipt and charge. I will let Yelp take care of the situation since Herbarium acted like idiots, not listening to what was wrong or understanding the receipt. I will never go back to this location, I also will deter anyone I know from going here. Overall, the people gave me scammy vibes and complete dishonesty, they could care less nor showed any interest to fix a problem. I read so many pleasant reviews about this particular dispensary and so I was really looking forward to my visit today. I came in here and the best part about my experience was the interaction that I shared with the security guard at the door as we discussed some of the most recent high scoring Lakers games and the trades that have happened recently. I don't know what the name of the bud tender was that "helped" me but then again when I think about it again, she wasn't friendly and didn't introduce herself. She only asked me what I was looking for. She didn't really welcome me. I asked her for different suggestions and she rolled her eyes at me each time before either providing me an answer or telling me that she didn't know what I was talking about. I was so frustrated. I asked her which flowers had high % or the highest potencies. I explained that I was very curious about comparing prices between flower I'd seen in another state v what was available at this store. She seemed more and more irritated. I asked about what gummies/edibles were available. She showed me the Wyld brand of gummies and when I told her that I had that one already and therefore wasn't interested she got upset, raised her voice and said, "So you don't want it? Or what? It's the only one we have right now." I explained that I have that one already and that I'm not fond of it. She rolled her eyes and put the product back. Gee, you're RUDE!!! She asked if there was anything else that I was interested in. I explained that I wanted to browse and take a look around since it was my first visit here. And even more I am always interested in comparing the specials that some of these stores have. I thought it was pretty cool how they had huge screens outside to show me some of the specials that they had, mostly on pre-rolls. I thought that was a nice touch, aside from the small sitting area just outside the door of the store, huge inflatable green chairs/sofa next to the vending machines. Another thing that was so irritating was that while I was browsing their small selection of what looked like some terribly ugly flower, I was told to back up and find a place on one of the dots. It seems to me that there was a group of 4-5 other guys who basically ran up to the cases and started growing and didn't have to get in line and weren't told to back up. Is it because I don't look like someone who indulges in any of these activities that you guys picked on me? I mean, seriously?!?! I was told to back up and wait in line. I was reprimanded it seemed no matter where along the cases I went to browse even when it was my "turn" to check things out. I told the budtender that I was going to browse their selection of other pre-rolls and what not and she just walked away. I can understand that you might want to help the next customer and I would have been more than fine with that but you should say something along those lines and not just scoff and walk away. I'm sure I am not the only one who has been treated this way and that really stinks! I was interested in purchasing pre-rolls but when I looked up for the budtender she was gone.
