Hadn't heard much praise about the place, but wanted to try because of their wings and sauce selection. Ordered Buffalo sliders, with mango habanero sauce. Very very soggy chicken not crispy and no spice whatsoever. We also ordered wings naked not bad, but order with the reaper sauce and Spicey Cajun dry rub on the side. The spicy Cajun advertised as a dry rub... , but came out as a buttery liquid sauce and Our 9 year old could eat the Reaper sauce no problem. Service was okay, but food was 6 out of 10. My GNO decided to try this spot out since none of us had every been here before. It's a cool environment between a relaxed sporty restaurant and trendy bar. The whole table ordered wings, and everyone enjoyed them, we had a mixture of BBQ, spicy BBQ, Parmesan, spicy lemon pepper and secret sauce. The lemon pepper were everyone's top choice. The fried pickles are average, chicken nachos are good, chips with queso and salsa can be skipped. Our waitress (can't remember her name) was attentive and friendly. ONE TIP: DO NOT put any money in the jukebox. The songs we picked were never played, we asked the waitress about it, she spoke to a bartender and we were told that the staff, themselves, will put enough money to play 2 hrs worth of songs and the songs they choose rarely ever get played. It left is all puzzled. Shortly after we were told this, a bartender marched to our table and explained to us what the waitress stated and also made it a point to let us know that the bar was not affiliated with the owner of the jukebox and they had no control over whether the songs were played or not. Apparently people can request songs from an app that aren't in the restaurant and can override the play list....um, does that make sense to anyone? So, if this is the truth, then the jukebox and said owner is taking ones money and not providing the service one expects. Not to mention there is no sign posted anywhere telling you to "insert money at your own risk" so once again, DON'T PUT MONEY IN THE JUKEBOX. Would I go back, yes. Haven't eaten there but called asking if they were hiring and the guy who answered was incredibly rude, laughed at me and said "well not right now it's the middle of happy hour call when it's not so busy" and hung up on me. Stopped by on Sunday prior to Chicago Bears game. Located in retail-living area across from our hotel. Walked in to see a horde of Bears fans (didn't notice flags on exterior). No open seating. Went elsewhere for lunch but returned after the game for drinks and dinner. There is a small patio with a tv in addition to the interior dining with high tables, wood and sufficient TVs. This place is great to go to watch sporting events. An abundance of TVs are available for each sporting need. The food was decent. I had the buffalo chicken sliders. For $8, it was a good serving with 3 sliders and fries. Their original sauce compares to your typical buffalo sauce. Their fries were exactly how I like them - crispy and golden. My parents kept talking about this place so we decided to give it a go. It wasn't too far from home, and I love the little shopping center that it is in. Surprisingly parking was easy which is great! We went into this place and it was pretty lively, but pretty open as well so didn't feel overly packed. My parents had a table already waiting for us, which was set up next to a game, so my son was entertained, always a plus! We ordered the chips and queso, which were so good, and some wings. My favorite are the Carlic Parmesan, and they were definitely delicious. My son had the kids chicken fingers with a side of BBQ sauce (amazing) and the fries were good also. Walking into the brand new "Wing Nutz", at least as of the time of this review, is exciting because you feel as if you discovered something secret. No signage. Nothing to let you know they are here. Without YELP, I would have never found them in the first place. Of course I am the weird guy that will literally type in "hot wings" into the yelp app and go to random places based on ratings. Heh. So I walk into Wing Nutz, which is a sports bar. A very nice sports bar. Many HD televisions, a massive projector, jukebox, nice bar layout, some games. The place is nice, well designed. Even at 12:30pm on a Tuesday: the place was dead... likely because no one has any idea that it exists. The bartender explained to me that they would be changing the name soon, a C&D came in from across the nation from some other place that is called "Wing Nutz" so this place will change names soon. That sucks. As for the food, the wings were awesome. They gave me a sample of the boneless wings and I was impressed at the size and amount of meat on each wing. They were nearly mini chicken strips really, but super juicy and tender. I also had the fried wings appetizer, which was fantastic. Thick juicy pickles, the right amount of batter and perfect ranch. Really a 5/5 on the fried pickles. The tater tots were basic, but how could they not be? In fact I like them basic. The drink cups are HUGE and the refills came very quickly which I always appreciate. Great service really. Super fast. The bar is equipped with plugs for your phone or laptop, which is convenient for me since I use my computer on the go all the time. Big plus there, I love plugs. The wings were tasty and the prices weren't too bad (for bone-in it was $8.99 for 10 or $17.99 for 20 which doesn't make too much sense because that means two 10-piece is 1 cent cheaper). My only suggestion is to add more wing flavors as they really just have garlic parmesan, several hot flavors, and barbeque.
