This wasn't my first ride on a Mid American. They've always been clean, good drivers, but tonight…read morewas exceptional. Took the coach to Frozen On Ice at Scott Trade in STL. The snow was coming down before we began our trip. Cindy our driver, and Glenda our concierge, were not only a fantastic team but made even the nervous passengers feel at ease. Glenda came around with candy for everyone and had a little trivia to pass the time for the up'ing travelers. Traffic was so backed up, because of the weather, but Cindy maneuvered around the traffic and got us to the show on time. It was wonderful to be dropped RIGHT at the door. The snow continued while we were at the show. When we came out, she was again Right at the door. How convenient! Especially with all the little "Elsa's" not completely dressed for the weather. We had to wait to start the snowy trek home. There were 3 passengers missing for quite a while, and Glenda went on a hunt for them. She and Cindy were patient and polite to the absent passengers, and Cindy attended to us waiting patiently on the coach. Cindy was an EXCELLENT driver and made everyone feel very safe. The driving conditions with crazy semi's zooming by was nerve wracking, but Cindy handled it with ease. Glenda brought the Frozen DVD to watch on the way home. It was a great distraction for anxious passengers and the tired young uns. When we arrived back, Glenda helped people clean off the 3+ inches of snow mounded on their vehicles. Cindy waited in the coach with passengers while their cars warned up. WOW....these ladies were impressive!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

WARNING!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!…read more The Arapaho Campground is nice shady sites but we encountered a HUGE PROBLEM riding the bus to the float drop off! Our bus driver tried to kill us! A fully loaded bus! With children! She was driving way to fast thru the winding roads. People were screaming like we were on a roller coaster. The men were screaming at her to "SLOW THIS BUS DOWN NOW." The parents of the children repeatedly screamed at her to "SLOW DOWN" She shook her head NO & LAUGHED AT US! You could see her laughing in the reflecting mirror/visor above her head. At least 20 times she was screamed at to slow this bus down, but wouldn't! The children were crying real tears of fear. The child sitting next to me said "I think I'm going to puke!" The coolers dumped into the walk way and our cooler and all of our stuff dumped onto my friend. We lost canned drinks they were rolling on the floor of the bus. Lost all of our ice. We had no ice to even start our 4 mile float. In further investigation the bus company is privately owned. But beware do not get on a bus with Deena. I contacted the nearby village sheriff and he told me he had a simular complaint about the same woman the weekend before. It was out of his jurasdiction. I was litterally shaking for a hour after the ordeal. The crazy driver lied and reluctantly told me her name was 'Lee" I started investigation right away. If she's not stopped someone is going to get hurt or worse, killed. I am not finished with this I am contacting the county and state. This woman is dangerous and tried to kill us. With no remorse, thought it was funny. She laughed at all of us! She certainly was guilty of speeding, reckless driving and child endangerment! I told the workers at Arapaho Campground as we left, if Deena comes with a bus, turn her away you don't want your campground people to be driven by her. It shouldn't reflect on the campground it was nice but DON'T LET DEENA DRIVE YOUR BUS TO THE FLOAT!!!! My guess is she is in her 50's and had just below the shoulders dark hair and apparently when she got back from dropping us off told the campground owner there may be some complaints about the ride. THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT WOMEN!
