Our first time there to get a tire looked at. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fixed our tire and was very reasonable for the repair.

Terrible experience with this place. For me the pick up/drop off service was a big draw, but that just ended up adding 4 weeks to the process of getting my cart fixed. Their general work was slow and i had zero communication from them. If I called and asked 4 people the same question I would get 4 different answers. When I finally got my cart back a little over 8 weeks later, the lock I left with them was full of water and rusted out and my battery was dead. They are on back order for most carts as anyone is - but their customer service is awesome & they deliver! I love that they have a maintenance truck that will come to your house to fix any maintenance items as they arise as well. I cannot say how happy I am with this facility! I have a 2004 EZ-GO that just wouldn't turn over anymore. I had it at VIP Golf Carts last year on 2 different occasions when it wasn't running like it should. I cannot remember how much I spent on both visits, but think it was around $350. The cart ran better after each visit, but not like it should. So when it wouldn't start this year, I decided to give Gateway a chance. I received a call from Billy(mechanic), who told me he tried bypassing both the carb, and the coil, but was unsatisfied with the results. He warned me that the next step was to pull the engine, which I agreed to(love the cart, and didn't want to purchase a UTV).He did give me an estimate, which ended up correct. He went through the whole thing and basically rebuilt part of the motor. I have had it now for over a month, and it runs like a top! I was charged $730 for the service, and it was worth every cent! It outruns all of my other friends carts which are much newer models. I would definitely recommend this place for service! read more

Filled out an on line form for my golf cart repair and got a call the next morning. They picked up my cart, repaired it and back to me in one day. Amazing- and about half the cost I expected. Great people, friendly , professional service. I highly recommend Gateway. read more

Fantastic place. Gateway Carts in O'Fallon came highly recommended by a good friend. Glad I ignored the other review. The staff was helpful, courtious and our new "baby" Ez-Go golf cart was delivered on time for our anniversary. My wife and I are enjoying it tremendously. Terrible experience with this business! I rented a golf cart to take the kids trick or treating on Halloween. They dropped the cart at my house without any prior communication. When I arrived home from work, the cart was there with no key, no note, no communication whatsoever. We were unable to operate the cart without the key. I left 6 voicemails and 3 emails for this business with no call back. Since we only rented it for one night for one purpose, you would think the owner or manager would have made sure they communicate about how to use the golf cart. When Halloween was half over, someone in our party figured out that the key was under the back seat....quite by accident. So, we were able to use the cart for about 1/2 hour. What a waste of $179! The next day, someone finally called and was very unapologetic about the lack of communication from their company. They claimed to have left a voicemail with instructions but I have no voicemail and the call log on my phone did not register any calls from anyone at this business. I would caution anyone about doing business with Gateway Golf cars after the bad experience I recently had. read more
