I wish I could give zero stars to this company. We used them in 2011 to put up Christmas lights on our house. We went ahead and purchased all of the lights from them because they told us if we purchased them then we would be able re-use the lights the next year and then we would only need to pay for them to install the lights. Seemed like a great idea, so of course that's what we did. Well, I got a call last week from someone in their office and they told me that they changed their policies and they will no longer install any lights that were purchased from their company! Are you kidding me!?!?! We spent all of that money to purchase the lights because you assured us it was a better deal to purchase them and save money for the next year. And now you say you wont put them up. And we have no other choice but to rent the lights from you now! What a bunch of BULL!!! This company is run by a bunch of thieves and they have taken advantage of their customers. I went ahead and contacted another company to install our lights this year, and the guy told me they have received countless calls from people in the same position as me. I am appalled that The Window Washer would risk loosing so many customers. After all the money we spent last year because we were assured it was the best way to go for the coming years, I would think they would at least attempt to keep us as customers by going ahead and installing our lights for this year. But no. The lady on the phone flat out told me that is NOT an option. Well, I have no doubt that they will be loosing a ton of customers this year. As far as I am concerned, any company who treats their customers like this doesn't deserve to stay in business. read more

WOW! These guys were AMAZING! They showed up right on time, and were so professional. They cleaned my windows inside and out, removed the screens, etc.. all within two hours. My windows are so clean it doesn't even look like there is any glass! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.....you won't be disappointed..trust me! read more

The Window Washers are really great! We have used them two years in a row on our building in San Francisco. Super nice, quality work, very fair pricing. The owner showed up with his "guys" right on time the morning of the job. They were really quick and didn't complain about all the cobwebs I asked them to clear off our window sills =) I would recommend them to friends and family. read more

My windows have never looked better. I made an appointment with ease. I only had to wait a week to be placed on the schedule and I think that's great. The men arrived at my house and I had not returned from dropping my kids off at school. They began working on the outside and were very efficient because by the time I arrived they had completed a large portion of the job. Upon my arrival, they began the work inside. They were incredibly professional and very respectful of my household. The windows, screens and sills were cleaned and have never looked better. These guys do great work, but I just called about having 7 windows cleaned on my my small single story home and the price quoted was $495, which represents 100% increase from last year, which was high to begin with for such a small house! Love this company, but $250 was already high enough for my house and budget. Bye bye. read more

Trevor and his team of expert window washers left our two-story home sparkling and clean. We were delighted with their service, which sets a very high bar for all service industry providers. They were prompt, efficient, polite, courteous, and left the premises perfectly clean. They cleaned our screens, all interior and exterior windows, doors and mirrors, as well as our gutters. We were delighted with their service, price (great value for the money!) and expertise. Our windows are clean and I think the price was fair. But I wasn't entirely pleased with our service. My thoughts: Pros: - The gals on the phone were very helpful and offered a thorough description of the service they offer - The owner stopped by during the job and was very friendly and understanding of my concerns - They worked quickly, good sized team - They arrived on time Cons: - One of the guys came to our door eating his sandwich and talking with his mouth full. It didn't really bother me, but it didn't seem very professional. - Over the phone, I was told that all the work could be done from the exterior, so I wasn't expecting them to enter the house. However, the guy begged me to allow them to remove screens from inside to save time. We had other stuff going on inside the house, so I was reluctant. But it was a really warm day, so I gave in. Then while removing screens in our bedroom, one of the guys proceeded to STEP on our bedroom pillows with his dirty sneakers. Not cool. - We have three sliding glass doors. They removed the screens for cleaning. After they had left, we had discovered that they did not bother putting the screen doors back correctly. We were unable to open/close any of the three screen doors. One of the doors was jammed in the tracks incorrectly and was difficult to fix. - To reach some of the windows, they had to step in our planters, which I can understand. However, they made a mess of the bark and left it all over the driveway and walkway. Like I said, the windows are really clean. But next time I'll probably try someone else. read more

I would give no stars, but Yelp doesn't allow it. We had a horrible experience with this company. The worker damaged our window. I have called for weeks asking that they repair or reimburse me for the damage. I have never received a call back or a response from the manager. The secretary, Rachel, was very rude! Horrible customer service. Please, do not waste your time or money using this company, based in Pleasanton. I have since heard from other folks on their dissatisfaction with this company. read more

I was so disappointed in the window wash service I received from The Window Washer company. I live in the San Fernando Valley in LA County and used their local service. I work from home so by the time I was available to look at the windows I wish I would have walked around the house before signing off that the work was complete. I live and learn. I have a bay window & there was tons of dirt that was still on the top of the window and now very spotted. There was dirt and filth on the window sills and grime from their work that wasn't cleaned off. Drapes were pulled off their hooks. Guests were over that weekend & some knew that the windows were getting cleaned. They thought that I had postponed the service because the inside and outsides were spotted. My housekeeper commented on the work too. I was embarrassed & disgusted that I paid for this service. I had used their rain gutter cleaning service in the months before & I was so pleased. Considering their name is The Window Washer - I had high expectations but I was wrong. When I got billed I called their head office and told them of my disappointment. They said they would let the manager that was on site know about the work being unsatisfactory. I can't imagine that a mgr was one that was here doing the work. I would have suspected better. I would not recommend this place for window washing at all. They responded that for my troubles I would get a discount on future work from them. I don't plan on using them anymore so that doesn't do any good. RUN! read more

We had an incredible experience with this company! It's sad to say, but we had not cleaned our windows since we moved into our house 7 years ago. To top it off my husband is a carpenter and does a lot of work at home, so our windows and screens were very dusty. When I got home, I couldn't believe how amazing the windows looked. In fact, my husband and I were saying that our view has entirely changed. I had a great experience booking my appointment (got me in the very next day). They understood I have a toddler that naps during the day, so offered to do her room last. All in all great customer service and results. Will be back! read more

I had approximately 50 windows cleaned inside and outside today by the Window Washers. This included removal and washing of the screens and clearing off spider webs and debris off of high window sills. My house is challenging because several windows are about ~30 feet off the ground. The Window Washers sent a great crew....quick, efficient, neat and very courteous. My windows look fantastic, with no streaking even in the harsh afternoon sun. They arrived on time (actually even a bit early) and called in advance with their ETA. My only concern is that they left two of our backyard gates open when they left, which would have been a disaster if my dogs got loose, but fortunately that did not happen. As such, you may wish to remind them to close all doors and gates behind them. That notwithstanding, I highly recommend this company. read more

Recently had my windows done and after they left, I noticed a 3 foot scratch on my sliding glass door. I called them after hours and never received a call back. So, I called again and asked to have someone come out and see it. Five days later, a representative came out and made the comment, "It is going to be hard to prove that we did this." (I know they did it because this is a door I wash frequently as it leads to the patio from the kitchen.) I have never heard from them since and it's been well over a week. Very poor customer relations. The workers who came here were very nice and generally did a good job, but I will never use this company again because of the way they have handled my problem. I would have been happy with a little discount on their services but to not even have received a phone call is unacceptable. Beware! read more

i used this company to put up lights in the backyard where i live. from the initial phone call, they were courteous and professional. the gentleman they sent out for the install showed up a couple of minutes early, which i appreciated. he was professional and pleasant and did a good job. i was pleased i chose the company for the light installation... peace and blessings. read more

I used this business at least three times in the past and was very happy with their service. However, this time when I tried to schedule an appointment, the very nice woman with whom I spoke said she would have to check their schedule and call me back as they were booked out with a big job in the Los Angeles area for several weeks. She never got back to me. This should have been a sign to find someone else, but I called them back again a few weeks later. This time the very nice woman with whom I spoke booked an appointment for me for this morning. I arranged my schedule to be here when the window washers would be here. THEY WERE A COMPLETE NO SHOW. As this is a Saturday, I was unable to get a hold of anyone at the office to see if they were just running late or what the story was. I waited for over an hour before giving up. Although I was very happy with this company's service in the past, I will never try to use them again. Their office administration leaves everything to be desired. Don't waste your time with them. I don't know if my job was just not big enough for them to care about, but if that was the case, I wish they would have told me up front so that I could have found someone who actually wanted my business. read more
