I'm only taking the time to write this hoping to help people make a better choice on their cabinet purchase. The quality of cabinet construction is sub-par. Staffs ability to listen, fallow up or be honest was disappointing. When a customer spends thousands of dollars delivery should be a courtesy not an additional fee. $15000 paid for a Amazon quality kitchen, with no counter top. That purchase will be made elsewhere. It was a uncomfortable, 3 month wait for laminated plywood. This was not written to be vindictive. If there are other choices consider using those instead. We wish we had been warned. read more

Walked into the store every one was so welcoming. I was being attended by a woman, she said she was the assistant manager (Bridget) for this location as we were walking around the store, she received a phone call and said she will be right back. as I was walking back to the cabinet area, she was on the phone face timing and yelling At who ever was on the other end, (unprofessional). a few days later I returned to look at the cabinets. an older gentleman was able to help, he provided me the card for Bryanna, as she was coming out he asked if she had time to answer some questions that I had. she denied the time and said she was busy to provide me her card and that she will get back to me as soon as she can. she has done this twice in one week, and she never reached out and when I tried to talk to her, she was very disrespectful. First, we bought windows from them and they delivered quickly and we hired a great installer -- Jason of Arizona glass Brother. He did a great job. We feel the difference -- super quiet inside and much cooler. Their price point was way good. Didn't know they sell cabinets too and we worked with Tamara . She's a cabinet whiz with style. Within just 2 visits we decided on stock cabinets for our bedroom and they look like built ins. Couldn't be happier. Don't purchase windows from this company as the service and product is deplorable. Robson Development built the homes in the Preserve at Saddlebrooke using Milgard windows. We have had our home for 5 years now and the latches keep breaking on the windows preventing you from securing the window. I have had many windows that have been replaced for the same reason or they just bust as they did NOT fit the panel in correctly causing stress fractures. ROBSON DEVELOPMENT HAS NOW CHANGED TO PELLA based on the poor quality and bad service. My latest problem when I open window to get fresh air and the latch would not shut in October 2023. The person came out November 9th and took the measurements for a new window. He measured wrong. He came back again to measure and again it was wrong. Today was the new installation date, January 18, 2024, I have received many emails and texts saying they would be here today between 8:30 to 10:30 AM. I receive a text at 7:40 AM, from the installer, this morning saying the product did not arrive and I would need to be rescheduled. THEN I receive a message from customer service saying the window won't be installed until 2/22/2024. THAT IS ANOTHER MONT AND A HALF AWAY.. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMAPNY........... read more

Our windows were installed in a timely fashion, the spaces between brick and trim were not filled, we asked they said all they did was put the plastic trim. The brick molding was buggered up and the windowsill is scratched up bad. We had just had all of this painted prior to installation. We had to re-caulk some of the base of the windows as there were gaps left. The windows were filthy, and the company said they do not clean them before they leave. I went to window depot to order a door and explained everything I needed to the person who put in the order. Once it arrived it did not have the specifications we had talked about when putting in the order. The reason why I am disappointed is not because it arrived incorrectly, but because they do not want to fix the problem. They are telling me that I cannot have the door fixed or get my money back. I was not told when I put in the order that I could not return it or get my money back if there was an issue. Hands down the WORST service levels I've ever experienced. Many companies are experiencing longer than normal turnaround times and I have been more than patient with situations that are out of their control. However, I've had longer delays because of receiving incorrect cabinets, and I'm still missing parts. I've even had be okay with upper cabinets not aligned with my stove because the lowers were not designed & ordered correctly according to measurements provided. I escalated my issue to management 3 weeks ago since I've been waiting since November of 2021 for missing fillers/side panels and have yet to receive a call back. Bought replacement bifold doors here because it was half the cost of the big box store. The employees here are RUDE! First I'm quoted a price on doors over the phone but it took 45min. I had all the detail, specifics on what I needed and still 45 min. Then I go to the store to order and OF COURSE the price quoted over the phone was wrong and they are $30 a piece more. When we finally pick up the doors.... Walk into store. May I help you? Yes! We are here to pick up some doors. Do you have an order number? No. Well, how can I help you? We ordered doors. Very poor service. I tried this place twice at two different locations, Speedway and 6th trying to get a quote on windows and doors. Once in person and then again over the phone. In person they couldn't get their quoting system to work. I then called and spent 30 minutes giving my sizes to the Maria (salesperson). She hit the wrong button and "accidentally erased" everything...What? Then I asked if I could email her the plans. It's been a month and she never responded with a quote! I am writing this review about 3 months after our kitchen has been completed. Tamara is the best. She came out and measured and then gave us some design ideas. After a couple of revisions, we had the plan set and the cabinets were ordered. We ordered Muse cabinets based on Tamara's recommendation. They came in about 3 and a half weeks once we placed the order and there was no damage. Once installed, they look and function great. There was a small amount of warping on the pull out spice rack when first installed, but it has since gone away after some usage. Also, some trim strips were forgotten on the initial order but they were delivered a couple of weeks later at no charge to me. Compared to Home Depot and Lowes, the price was awesome. We really enjoy our new kitchen and have had no issues. Thanks! read more

Great prices! Was originally replacing my ugly laminate countertops through Home Depot but they lost my business due to a horrible employee at the Irvington location. Anyway... I was referred to Window Depot by my contractor and at first I wasn't impressed with their selection or service since I was ignored on my first visit. I was however pleasantly surprised with their prices. On my second visit I was helped by several friendly employees including the manager Mike who was great and very accommodating. I did end up purchasing my granite countertops here and the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to first impressions. read more

We purchased granite from Windows Depot. We said we wanted the 2" thickness. Now that renovation is done we are shocked they sold us and installed the granite where they glued two one inch slabs together . It looks hideous . There is very obvious mismatching. I am appalled that we trusted that store to install a 2 " countertop, a two " single thickness . No way was it ever discussed with us that this visual abomination would be two one inch slabs glued together. In my opinion they duped us. Tl;dr: Chaotic management. Horrible service. Disrespectful employees. I ordered a replacement vent panel and some balancers for a single hung window at the end of March, 2021. My order was placed at the Speedway location because that is where the previous owner got the original window, but I wanted to ship the order to the McDowell location in Phoenix to be closer to the job site. I order the parts over the phone with Jose. When I asked for a receipt, he first told me to drive 2.5 hrs to the store to get it. When I finally convinced him to send me a scanned copy, I was told that I was "asking for too much." He gave me an order number but apparently it is completely useless since they have no way of checking the order status until it arrives at the store. I was told it would take 3 weeks for the parts to arrive, but it ended up taking 10. Even then, the parts were shipping to Speedway instead of McDowell as requested. After I requested the order to be rerouted to McDowell, it somehow got lost in transit, and they have to place another order from scratch. By the time my crew finally picked up the order at McDowell, it was almost 20 weeks after I placed the order. During this whole ordeal, I called every few weeks to check-in on the order status. Every time I called, I was put on long holds for at least 20 mins and frequently hang up on even after holding. They keep no notes on the orders so I had to explain the situation every time I called in. Sometimes multiple staff would call in the same day to notify me of the same thing. It was a huge waste of time. If you are considering doing business with Window Depot for their low prices, I strongly recommend that you consider the inevitable delays and your time in your calculations. I personally will never use this store again. read more

They were so busy, which is a great sign. What impressed me was, when they had a few too many customers waiting at the counter, they called for backup (I don't take this for granted anymore due to all the bad service experiences I've had). The extra help came promptly. Peter was very helpful. They located my 4 channels and gave me a slip to pick up from the workers in the back. The 2 gentleman in the back, I believe their names were Billy and Devin (sp?), were SO courteous and pleasant. This is something not seen often in construction businesses - it was unexpected and refreshing. Obviously the owner or GM has trained their staff incredibly well - kudos to all of you, and we will be back. read more

We visited Window Depot first time last year, early 2017 and received on the spot a detailed estimate for 6 sliding doors and 6 windows. We weren't quite ready and still receiving estimates from other places. Went back ready to purchase at the end of Feb 2018. We worked with the company President, Ron Hess who was great. However, he then turned it over to Jose to provide us with an estimate. It is now April 30, and after 2 messages to Jose and 1 conversation with Ron about waiting for an estimate... all we finally received from Jose was an estimate for 2 doors! Terrible follow-up, even after speaking with the company president. We plan to go with another company even though the cost is higher, we know we will receive better customer service. read more

So he decides to insult my intelligence. With attitude and insults. He even got another customer involved as to gain validation to his intelligence. I told him I'm no window expert. But a couple changes on my end resulted in my order placed in July being delayed and absolutely no communication as to when it qould be delivered. Promised it would be first thing today Sept 7, and again no phone call, no one answers when I called delivery department. Alot of waiting and wondering and no communication...to Follow up, Gilbert the delivery guy was very nice and had the order all correct with the changes I had made. Still frustrating that they cant hire a coordinator to tell people when their delivery might be happening, it all falls on Gilbert who drives the truck. read more

After receiving quotes from multiple companies and Big Box stores, I was told I should check with Window Depot. I did not realize they carried cabinets and arranged to meet with Tamara at their Speedway location to see what they had to offer. I am so glad I did!! Their selection, quality and pricing are Incredible! I chose my cabinets and was shown their selection of very reasonably priced granite for countertops. Tamara worked with me to develop a design I loved at costs at least 25% lower than my previous quotes for better quality cabinets. Terribly disorganized. I went in for a simple purchase of three doors they special ordered for me. For three weeks, I kept getting confusing messages. Sometimes they'd say the doors were ready, then they'd say they hadn't been delivered yet. Finally, five weeks after ordering the doors, I went in to pick them up. They didn't know where the doors were, were confused as to which door I had already picked up and lost the glass to one of my doors. We got it sorted out but that was way more complicated than it needed to be. Not worth the headache. read more

We have used Window Depot a few times and have been impressed with them each time. The first time we used them, we replaced all the windows in our house and guesthouse. It's been 12 years and the windows have held up wonderfully. They are courteous, professional and their prices can't be beat. We used them recently, when we had a break-in. This is a review for Window Depot, at 5123 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85712, 520-290-8545. Every time I have been there, employees are standing around talking to each other and ignoring me while I wait and wait to be waited upon. My husband ordered a custom door on 8/14/20, and they took forever to get it done the first time (approximately 1 month). Then, when they got it done, it was defective and had to be returned the same day for window repair. They ordered the window part, and we called and went by there four times -- they kept saying, "it will be ready by 5:00 today; we'll call you when it's ready" but they never called, and it never was ready. Finally, on October 2, 2020, my husband called them and told them if it wasn't ready today, he would be cancelling the order for non-delivery. Every time he talked with someone, he had to explain the whole thing from the beginning, and no one ever seemed to know what was going on. When he arrived on October 2nd, the person he talked to, who he described as "the King of the Dumbest," didn't know what it was that my husband wanted. Finally, they brought him the door and refused to help him get it in the car, saying, "We don't want to be liable for any damage to your car." He had to insist to one of the employees to help him. No one has called to keep me informed of why the delay. I checked with Home Depot, same window is less money, better quality and certainly they don't have any competition for customer service.
