It was a Cortado and I believe I had them add vanilla to the drink as well. The barista was really friendly and helpful with the menu. After passing by and seeing a sign saying that they have Larry's famous house made chai, I was intrigued and wanted to try. I got a S soy house chai, 16oz hot, tipped $1 which made it $7.50 total. They had the chai already made so they immediately had the drink ready when I paid. I saw they currently also have a Sanrio themed menu of lattes and mochas including lavender and rose flavors. The chai is strongly spiced and flavorful, I liked it. It's not too washed out by milk and I think they achieved a nice balance between the tea and milk. read more

I should have checked the reviews prior to entering this legit coffeehouse. They are well known in the neighborhood, so much so that patrons and baristas all know each other by name and their personal lives. It felt heartwarming knowing there is a 3rd space in the Felton area where the community can get together. That being said, I walked in with my heavy duffle bag huffing and puffing because god, I need to work out. The service was decent and straightforward. I also want to point out house spacious the coffee house is. Theres tables both inside, a couch, a patio area outside, and additional seating near the big redwood tree. You can't miss it. It's huge. I decided to for a latte. You can't go wrong with a latte. I got used to the $6.50 and up lattes so the low price was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the baristas use Clover Sonoma milk, which elevated the drink. I liked it. It wasn't like "oh my god I loved it", but I liked it. I just wish I saw the yelp reviews because several mentioned they make great chai. It's been a minute since I had a good chai. Next time. Walked in for one of Larry's famous iced chais, girl at the counter said they were out of iced Chai I asked her what my other options are and she suggested I could order soy milk with Chai spice on top so you're suggesting that I do your job for you by making myself an iced Chai? Also if you're going to advertise your famous iced Chai outside of the building and all over your menu, I suggest that you have enough iced Chai for the day or make it to order when ordered, (like most cafes) feels like it truly shouldn't be an item that you just run out of.... We went here on a Sunday afternoon and you could tell it was much busier than usual. It's a cute little coffee shop with some unique merchandise to purchase. The overall interior needs a good scrubbing. Very dusty with lots of cobwebs but something tells me this is just how they want it. It's definitely a local spot with regular customers often. We ordered a ice white mocha and a chai. It took quite awhile for us to get our drinks but that was no problem we enjoyed the calm vibe. Forget the big chain coffee shop just off Hwy 17. The coffee's not bad, but the tea's are so-so. And the pastries? Not even worth the calories. I'm so glad we decided to go hunting for something new. Found the White Raven on Yelp, and we were intrigued by the descriptions of their signature drink, Larry's Special Chai. So yeah, a big hunk of their menu was for all different kinds of Chai. We ordered a few versions, but my favorites were the soy chai (yum) and then the oak milk dirty chai (double yum!) I'm not sure what kind of artisan shot they put in there, but it's definitely the secret sauce. That drink had a sweet sharp complexity you won't find at sbux. Then the case of pastries... It wasn't a big case, but there were a lot of different things in there. They had the usual croissants and morning buns, which were quickly gobbled up by the guys waiting in the car. I was intrigued by the apple slipper, which was a more delicate version of a turnover. The raspberry danish was also a upscale version, and was very well received. But the best of all was the coffee cake. It was sitting in a glass bell over by the register, and we almost missed it. We got it as an afterthought as we were checking out, but next time it'll be the first thing we get! read more

If you're in Felton and need a coffee or tea this is a great spot to stop. It's a little hole in the wall with rustic wood decorated interior. Me and my gf got a large (20oz) mocha, a small (12oz) tea, and a lemon bread. The mocha was really good and super affordable in todays climate, which is always such a nice surprise. My girlfriend was raving about her tea which rarely happens. Not only were the drinks good but the lemon cake was top tier and didn't hurt my belly. I'll be sure to stop by again. Also they have a pretty cool logo and sell some merch if you are into that sort of thing. read more

For context, I am a barista at a very similar cafe in another town. I love felton, and this coffee shop has a super cute vibe, but this is the third time I've been in and had a painstaking experience. The baked goods are phenomenal, the espresso is okay, but you will not be in and out of this place in under 30 minutes, you'll be lucky if it's under an hour. I've come in a couple times when it's not busy and had my order messed up and/or lost completely, and i've watched customers ask for corrections to their order and get insane amounts of attitude from the barista. Half and half on this spot. It's a staple of the town but the service I got might have been a fluke. It was pretty busy but a burrito and bagel took over 40 minutes and two check in with staff after the 20 minute mark to make sure it was still going. The food and drinks were good quality but the wait for drinks was long as well. Going to give this a go another time. A beautiful little coffee and tea shop with in-house guitars and games to play. It's a very welcoming environment with a cabin feel. I ordered a chai latte, and it was excellent. It's a coffee shop. I don't have anything extraordinary to report, but I found my experience to be positive. The staff were kind. My americano tasted very much like an americano. My bagel had ample cream cheese on it. To note - by 9:15am on a Monday they didn't have a large selection of bagels, so come early for your bagels! I did not wait for long. The Wifi was free. It's been two years since I was last here and I was fiending for some caffeine. Line was out the door so I thought, "Hey! They seem super popular with the locals maybe I misjudged them last time. Let's try again". Waited in line for about 15 minutes and then ordered a dirty chai and a bagel with cream cheese. The whole vibe here makes me almost feel like I'm inconveniencing them by just being in the shop. I added an extra star because there was one employee behind the bar that was smiley and seemed nice but I didn't get to interact with her. They also have some cool merchandise to buy. Chai tasted like lavender to me which is not my jam but might be for others. They are apparently known for their chai. Toasted bagel sat on the counter for quite some time before it finally got its cream cheese. When I took a bite it was cold and extra CRONCHY. I ate it because I was starving but didn't really enjoy it. Whole experience took about 30 minutes so definitely be prepared to wait.
