My only surprise was that it was a smaller coffee drink than I was expecting, maybe 6 oz or so. As for the food, it was also delicious! The portion size was solid and everything worked really well together. There was the flaky toasted bread (not a traditional Cuban bread but still really good), and the perfect amount of mustard and cheese! The sandwich isn't traditional necessarily, but it is still amazing and something I would definitely eat again. It did take about 20 minutes to get to us, however, and we came in at a fairly slow time. I think this is such a hidden gem and I am so glad I found this place! I will definitely come back and try more of their coffee drinks!

Cat & Cloud is a small cafe with friendly staff that makes great coffee (then again it's the only one in this little food hall) so you'll get your great coffee fix here and enjoy your meal as well. They have a few pastries but I didn't get a chance to try them so if I'm ever back in the area, I'll give them a try and also curious to try their holiday drinks too.

Something I found…read more interesting is that what makes their coffee fun and unique is not necessarily fancy cold foams or syrups that they add (but they do have yummy sounding house made syrups), but more of the spices that they add to the espresso! I ordered the Otter Latte and I thought that the addition of spices like cinnamon and cardamom to the espresso was super delicious! The inside is a little small so it's definitely more of a grab-and-go type place, but I think it's cute and a fun hidden gem in downtown. While I didn't try any of their food, they seemed to have some interesting food options available as well. Super cute place and I can see me coming back here to get a simply but delicious coffee.

To my surprise, they also had specialty drinks so I had to get the Blondie latte with a plant-based milk. I asked the lady if it was sweet and she said it came with a tablespoon of brown sugar. But they could switch it and make it a teaspoon instead. Perfect! As I got my latte it was amazing!! The espresso used in the latte was actually a mild roast coffee so I really liked the flavor of it roast and it was Organic!! Win-win!! Since I'm trying to avoid dairy at the moment, I asked if I could get the lox bagel sandwich without cream cheese and replace it with avocado. The lady at the register asked another barista behind her and she said it was fine! Perfect!! The sweet flavors of the herbs in the bagel and then the juiciness of the tomato baked into the bread once simply wonderfully with my breakfast sandwich!! There's a cute little waiting area inside with at least 10 tables or seats along the breakfast bar counter and a couple of tables. There's also a very large outdoor seating area, but I was cold so I wanted to sit inside to warm up my body since I was going to go to yoga on the beach. I had only planned on eating half the bagel sandwich but honestly, it was so good when it came out. I sat there for a good 20 minutes until I ate the whole thing!! Lol so funny!! I was so stuffed I had to walk an extra mile before I could start my yoga on the beach! As I sat enjoying my breakfast sandwich, I got to overhear the two barista's talk about music!! One of the baristas allowed her device to search new genres of music while the other barista specifically looked up different genres of music she liked and then would tell her device to find music of that era. I got a killer scramble, my daughter got the churro waffle (she loved that it wasn't overly sweet), and my mom ordered the chilaquiles. Our waiter transparently let us know they aren't traditional Mexican-style chilaquiles, but mentioned they were his personal favorite--and my mom ended up loving them! Even though our server was super slammed, the rest of the staff stepped in seamlessly to help with drink refills and to-go boxes. All in all, a great experience and a wonderful birthday meal for my mom. =)

We were less than 5 minutes away walking distance. As soon as we placed our name down, the host said it was gonna be 45 minutes. First of all, the person who answered the call should not had gave us a wait time and kindly ask us to come in to put our name down instead. We waited 45 minutes and probably another 20-25 minutes for our food. Food was great, the only problem was that it wasn't piping hot. As if it was sitting on the counter for a while which should never be the case. As long as the kids were happy and stuffed that's all that matters.

She said it was a bit strong, but she asked for it less sweet so maybe that is why it tasted a little bitter. I had the dandelion latte which was supposed to be good for the stomach. It had a slightly sweet flavor but not too sweet because I asked for it less sweet. It was actually very very good. They were served in rustic bowls like a potion. The atmosphere has the mystical alchemy theme throughout with couches, separate rooms and cool hammock chair swings to sit in. Very cool vibe. If in the area again, I will definitely be back to try something else and for that dandelion latte.
