We tried to go for dinner on our first night but it was packed out and most people had a reservation. Made a note to reserve, and it was worth it. For breakfast I had the bacon and waffles, and they were great. Excellent waffles, crisp but soft and fluffy and served with maple butter and maple syrup. A couple of days later we went back for dinner and I got wings, the larger size, with ranch. I couldn't eat all of them, massive serving. Hubby got the chicken and waffles, chicken was crisp but the batter/seasoning needed more flavour. We were able to take our leftovers away and they were great the next day too. Would definitely recommend for breakfast, and probably for dinner too, if you book ahead and choose wisely on the menu.

We arrived st 8:40 and she said there would not be any tables available before 9:00 and they were closing. She was not interested in accommodating us at all. Clearly. I said we would like to wait in case a table opened up. After the manager heard our conversation, he came and said that we could wait and he would do his best to get us in. Haaazaaa ... 10 minutes later, a group left and a space was born. Yay! I was really determined to go here because my friend, who is a local, told me this is one of his favorite places to dine. Yes, I am happy we actually got to have dinner here. We ordered the cuttlefish, a couple salads, and the duck. Everything was delicious. They had several things on the menu that looked very gourmet. I want to go back and try a few more next time. (Beef Cheeks and a some very fancy desserts). Yummy! Thank you to the manager that actually helped us to enjoy this experience.

The steak however, was absolutely out of this world. Very, very, flavorful, juicy and done just like my wife... rare. Coleslaw might have well been a pile of sticks. Atmosphere was kinda honky tonk without the hats & music. All things combined, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 stars on the food. Slightly overpriced but the steak made up for it. Still, probably the best slow cooked pork ribs on the Sunshine Coast and it is a pleasure to eat there every time. Always friendly staff that would recognise me and my mates and ensure we were always looked after. No complaints in the 15+ times I have eaten there. A solid choice for a hungry man!
