The Events Centre was…read morecreated for versatile events and is a great, central location in the Sunshine Coast with a car park right across the street making parking a non issue. The room could seat up to 450 and we had about 300 attendees which was a perfect fit. There was plenty of space for everyone. Outside of the main room, the foyer was used as our House of Friendships were several booths promoting various Rotary programs were being shared. The Elevations Bar was spacious and where we had drinks, nibbles, and morning tea. This area connected to an outdoor deck. You could smoke on the deck so I didn't go out there but once. The morning tea was decent. They provided coffee and tea and one day had sweet muffins (chocolate or blueberry) while the next day had savory muffins (spinach and pumpkin or bacon and egg). For lunch, we had brown bags packed with an option of a chicken caesar or ham and cheese sandwich with a piece of fruit, cheese and crackers, juice, and a piece of candy. It was filling and the sandwich was quite tasty. I had the chicken caesar and it had chicken, egg, lettuce, bits of bacon, and mayo. We also had a dinner and dance once evening as our big event. We had a three course meal and it was pretty tasty. I had the salmon for an entree, lamb shank for my main, and lemon tart for my dessert. The food was pretty tasty. The mashed potatoes needed more salt but I was OK with that. The lamb shank was so tender and delicious! The lemon tart was super tart but I like tart desserts and came with a small piece of white chocolate on top. The bread rolls were also provided. The facilities were up to date and very professional. Even those sitting in the back had projected screens close to them and the audio and visual technology was great. You can walk to the beach from this RSL as well as some accommodations and shopping centers. A great weekend was had and I really enjoyed my visit here! It would be great to host an event here!

We went when there was a trivia night on, whether that's your thing or not (it wasn't personally ours) the food is so good you won't be bothered by it. I would 100% recommend the food here and I will definitely be returning!

A couple had the Father's Day special steak. Theirs were pretty ordinary too. Paid top money for crap food. Definitely won't be going back. Had a feed at the new Dakabin tavern Saturday. Wins hands down.

We had lunch, I ordered the fish and chip lunch special. It was delicious. The chips were crunchy and the fish and salad were very nice. Staff were lovely and service was quick. I ordered the tiramasu and was very disappointed. It came out and was a deconstructed version, very strange looking. The biscuits were hard and not soaked in coffee, but dipped half in the strongest and most bitter flavour of coffee I have tasted. I don't think it was premade, it looked like a rushed job. The sorbet or ice cream was very icy and the cream component was tasteless. After not being able to eat it, I asked for a takeaway box so I could take my $14 dessert home , hoping family might be able to eat it. The staff member, maybe a manager really couldn't care less when I mentioned it was not very nice. This did spoil lunch a bit, and I would have happily given a higher score, if not for this.

We chose to sit outside facing the water which was nice. I ordered the chili scrambled eggs and added grilled tomato and bacon. I was skeptical at first because I like heat but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the feta & I'm happy I added the bacon & grilled tomato but it would have been fine without as well. My partner ordered the big breakfast and we both had more than enough to eat - he said it was delicious as well. We were surprised it wasn't busy when we showed up, however by the time we left it was picking up quite a bit. We stayed to enjoy our coffees, and we liked it so much we decided to book dinner reservations for this weekend as well.

Very very cold- eating rugged ip in coats and under blankets they provided- like refugee camp. Had to ferry our tables drinks from the bar (why at these prices are there not enough servers?). Most of the Food was good but the menu is VERY limited (ie fish and chip is only battered). Had to order a side of veggies if you hoped for some and the small quarter of a potato was rock hard undercooked, a sliver of pumpkin and few green beans- like austerity rations.
