This is hands down the best Fish & Chips place in Redcliffe…read more Excellent And five stars. You know a place is good when the place is packed full of locals and regulars - this place is. It is a "hole in the wall" - small shop front but you cannot miss the footpath seating - walk up to counter and order, you're given a number wait to be called. There are GF options but seriously you know you want the fish battered - it is excellent. Service is efficient but still expect a wait on busy weekends. You come here for fish'n'chips - that said the calamari is also excellent. There is a range of burgers - all good.

Thank goodness they had a little sign out advertising five dollar nugs and chips and five dollar calamari and chips!!! I upgraded to crumbed as opposed to beer battered, which brought me to seven dollars. The service was awesome, full of smiles. The food was cooked fresh for me and delivered in a big bag- my chips and calamari were in separate boxes, too, and they both filled up a big box each. Seven bucks for the lot!!! Can you say I'm stoked? It's great grub- talk about fluffy chips- and heaps of it, and the bag had their business card stapled to it too, so Ill be keeping that on hand for convenience. Can't wait to come back next time I'm here for more. Also: bowl of lollies at the table. They had strawberry and cherry, the only downside to my visit was trying to choose. (I took one of each. Sorry)

When we first walked in this place it looked really good…read more They have really good pricing and the cafe has been really well looked after. The food tasted really good but my partner thought the fish was a bit oily but when I was eating it tasted ok to me. It wasn't until the car ride home that my tummy started to disagree with all the oil I had eaten. Besides this factor it is differently worth the drive out. To have a nice meal with an amazing view. Another plus is that it has Eftpos. (Most small Fish and Chip place are still cash only) They had really good vaule for money. As our fish and chips was enough for two people. I also liked the factor that they had their manu on a TV screen witch made it easy to view what they had on offer. Over all would reccomand this place.

If you want more of a deal, the specials are often good too. I've had the big Nosh and I was full long into dinner. I also tried their chicken schnitzel burger which was a special and the portions are still the same, very filling. Non-burger items that I tried their fried sweet potato scallops which is a nice slab of batter-fried sweet potato the size of my hand. For a drink, I ordered the mango smoothie. FYI: the smoothies are very creamy and almost like a frosty milkshake. It's no fruity healthy smoothie so beware. The salads are also very filling although they box sizes don't look like that (they pack in the salad pretty well). Overall, service is fine. It isn't a sit-down place but there are some tables in the back (or just eat at the beach). I'd say the food here is the most worth it in this beachy vicinity.
