The takeaway is quite small, but had around 5 or 6 outside tables, and the wait wasn't bad. We too chose the peri peri burger and a medium size chips to share and we could not finish the chips, all of this and a shared drink for $22! This place is the best value for money. We were so impressed with it & highly recommend it to any Yelpers! Give it a try, there is a fairly diverse menu and they even have ice cream! A couple of days later we went back for dinner and I got wings, the larger size, with ranch. I couldn't eat all of them, massive serving. Hubby got the chicken and waffles, chicken was crisp but the batter/seasoning needed more flavour. We were able to take our leftovers away and they were great the next day too. Would definitely recommend for breakfast, and probably for dinner too, if you book ahead and choose wisely on the menu.

Being a bit of a burger fan, I suggested this as a lunch option on our stay up here in Caloundra. The burger was a standard beef burger, but I decided to add an egg for an extra $1. Originally I was scoping out the restaurant menu which advertised the burgers for $17 for dine in. I wasn't aware that you could pretty much get the same thing at the cafe for the regular price of about $9 (sans chips). Everything on the restaurant burger menu was the same as the cafe produced burger. The burger had a hand-made patty (which could have done with a touch more seasoning). Instead of bog-standard iceberg lettuce, I was treated to a mixed leaf mix, with the addition of carrot. The salads--lettuce mix, carrot, beetroot, tomato--were all very fresh. Overall the burger was definitely up to scratch. I added an egg for $1, which was cooked sunny side up. I was a bit worried that it would get messy, but the warm yolk added a delicious sauciness of sorts to the burger. Would go soft again. A real highlight for me was the chips. The oil must've been perfect when they cooked them, because the chippie exterior was super crunchy and the chippie guts light and fluffy in the middle. For $10, I'd be back time and time again if I were a local. The time from order to call-out was about 20 minutes (and it wasn't that busy), but it was worth the wait.
