We both ordered steaks, fries & some coleslaw, I added ribs to mine. Ribs were hmmm... a little off the mark and I don't know why. Too wet & sloppy I think, meat was like it was boiled & kinda "mushy"". Sauce was good, but the ribs didn't thrill me. Got better ribs @ the carolina kitchen over in Cooperoo I think. The steak however, was absolutely out of this world. Very, very, flavorful, juicy and done just like my wife... rare. Coleslaw might have well been a pile of sticks. Atmosphere was kinda honky tonk without the hats & music. All things combined, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 stars on the food. Slightly overpriced but the steak made up for it. It's worth a go, but trade in the cole slaw for a different side dish. trust me on this.

Still, probably the best slow cooked pork ribs on the Sunshine Coast and it is a pleasure to eat there every time. Always friendly staff that would recognise me and my mates and ensure we were always looked after. No complaints in the 15+ times I have eaten there. A solid choice for a hungry man!

Nathan and Jade at the bar let me run a tab to settle at the end of the night and they were so professional. Nathan went to great lengths to get the wine we wanted from the menu. Grace took care of our table needs and was very attentive. They let me bring my own birthday cake and Grace brought it out with plates and spoons and candles lit. No extra charge like some restaurants do for this service. As the evening drew to a close, there was no pressure to leave as staff cleaned other tables and they let us leave at our leisure.
