Fish with garlic parm chips and truffle mayo
    Alethea C.

Great food! Great service! Went today and had the fish with garlic parm chips- they grate parm on it - and shrimp with roasted onion chips! It was so good! Try them you won't regret it.

Fantastic, fabulous, & flawless. Tastes just like you're in jolly old England. I personally guarantee that you will love the food!

I've been wanting to find a great Irish Pub in Mid TN, and I'm so happy Yelp lead me here!…read more I arrived around 6pm on a weeknight - there was plenty of parking in the lot, and our party was seated immediately. Not long after we ordered, there was live music, which set the perfect tone for the evening. One thing I really appreciated was the noise level in the low ceilinged room. The music brought energy and a great atmosphere, but was never too loud. We ordered the Scotch Eggs (a must!), fish & chips, bangers & mash, and Bailey's cheesecake. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot! The fast service, great vibes, and incredible service have me dreaming of my next visit to Mcnamara's!!

The staff are always nice and the food is always Delicious. They serve Apps, Salads, Sandwiches, Sides, Soup of the day and Have a Lunch Menu. They also serve some Irish Classics like Shepherds Pie, Irish Stew, Bangers and Mash, Fish & Chips and my personal favorite-- Corned Beef & Cabbage. They have a lounge upstairs and live Irish music almost every night starting around 6:00 p.m. You can go to their website and look at the calendar to see whether artists are playing on what specific night. If you want a little bit more quiet atmosphere, they have a dining area on the other side of the restaurant that is separate from the Stage and Bar Area, which BTW they have a full bar serving Irish Whiskeys, Beers and everything else you could want. It's located in Donelson about halfway in between the Airport and Opry Mills Mall. It's definitely worth checking out. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.. Slan libh

They have an extensive bar menu and can pretty much come up with anything you want to drink. Our server was super nice and provided me with samples of a couple different brews before I settle on the traditional ale from a local brewery. Hubby got a Guinness, my daughter opted for a $5 green tea shot. The artichoke dip w/naan bread was awesome. The Reuben spring rolls w/ corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss and fried in an egg roll wrap are quite yummy. The sausage roll was ok, not one of our faves. Hubby had the fish and chips. The fish was light and crispy. The chips were ok, but could've been crispy. I had the Mahi Mahi sliders. It was supposed to be a pineapple chutney but honestly it was just a slice of canned pineapple, so it was disappointing. I think it was the last evening of it being on the specials menu and they took shortcuts. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken curry soup. It smelled and tasted delicious. The bean burger was an ok option for our vegetarian friend but they could have a few more vegetarian options. My daughter ordered the chicken Gouda pasta but didn't like it. She thought the pasta was overcooked, didn't have enough bacon or seasoning. They were super nice and offered her a different meal. Instead she got the pub poutine and found the sauce delightful. The chips absorbed the bordelaise sauce perfectly with the mushrooms, onions and cheese.

Our server was really wonderful, she was personable and helpful even when we had a bunch of questions and dietary restrictions. It's not reflected on the menu so I think it's worth noting they have a black bean burger on the menu for vegetarians- I think they should definitely put it on the menu since there aren't really other veggie friendly entrees. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience with our food. The chicken spring rolls were the biggest hit, the sausage rolls were good but strangely sweet and maple flavored which wasn't in the description. The chicken gouda pasta was a real miss for me, there was no bacon on it which was in the description, and it was flavorless and mushy. I actually sent it back which I never do. I asked to replace it with the Pub Poutine, which they kindly did, but unfortunately it was extremely salty and difficult to eat as well. I think this place has a lot going for it which is why I leave this feedback,

Service was good ( needless to say they were slammed) & so was the Fish & Chips! My only reason for 4 stars is they need a better system for overflow on busy days. We were seated at the first table & ppl were coming in and literally standing at our table. We were pinned in & looking at butts throughout our meal . I feel it is fair to say people should wait outside until called in for a table!

As someone with a dairy allergy, I always make sure that my server understands my limitations when ordering from a new menu. Our server seemed to not be knowledgeable of what "dairy" or milk is, and after I ordered the fish and chips, she went to confirm if there was dairy in the batter. There was immediately hostility from her when it was time to change my order, as the fish batter did have milk in it. My husband modified my order to a tuna salad sandwich, verifying that this was a dairy-free option. However, she didn't seem to realize that butter was also dairy, and would have served me a buttered toasted bread with my sandwich if my father in law hadn't of thought to verify. I did not see her smile or greet any guests warmly in the time we were in the pub, which I usually don't care about, but when a server is openly hostile towards a party, it sours everyone's experience. My husband's bangers and mash was badly burned and the tuna salad was incredibly lack luster. The only positive scores of our experience was the cozy atmosphere and the soup of the day.

With a 4.77 aggregate rating across all user-driven platforms and nearly 1,700 reviews to date, Krustaceans is much better on paper than it is in reality, a very overrated restaurant! As the highest-rated seafood joint on the entirety of Highway 70 across the America, it simply did not live up to the hype as I passed through Nashville. Perhaps I should have ordered crab or shrimp or some other boiled seafood which seems to be more of their specialty. But the fish and chips caught my attention. Beware, these aren't the fish and chips you'll find in the UK or the Northeastern United States. Instead of a crisp, beer-battered exterior, this is more like a catfish breading. And it's not bad, but it's just very different than the name would imply. The batter is probably too salty, but the fish is very fresh! The Cajun fries are horribly mediocre. They're definitely just frozen fries from a local supermarket with an uninspiring spice mix. The employees didn't seem very welcoming either, which was kind of sad since I was excited to be there. It's not a bad meal at all, but the ratings are way higher than they should be! If you're haphazardly shelling out five-star reviews, you've probably never had real seafood on the coast and have only inflated the truth for online viewers. Don't expect too much out of Krustaceans, hope for a decent meal, and you won't be disappointed.

My sister and I share the meal and we both agreed that the scotch egg was the best thing on the menu! There was a discrepancy with our order. I had ordered this through DoorDash and they mislabeled the loaded pub fries so I had to double back and pick up my corrected item. The fries on their own were well seasoned and really good. Loaded with the steak gravy, they were good, but obviously makes the fries super soggy so for me I would pass if I came here again. The steak and ale pie was also really good, but we both felt like it could've benefited from having puff pastry over the whole pie versus a single circular top covering a little less than half the pie.

The atmosphere is moody and fun, with bar seating, high top tables, booth seating, and multiple TVs. Service was friendly and quick as well. Best fish and chips I've ever had, and we brought family and friends who thought the same thing! The batter is delicious and perfectly fried. Onion rings are also like no other! Great batter and perfectly fried. The sausage roll pastry dough was really good, I would need a sauce with them next time to add more flavor (menu did say they come with a sauce). If you are looking for a dessert at the end of your meal, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was recommended by the owner (made by his wife) and it was delicious with a the scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
