[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came for an open mic night on first Wednesday of the month and the lineup was decent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But what really got me going was their Rib Plate special $13 and literally the best ribs I think I've ever had. Thank you Luke for tip and great service! Tots and slaw as well were delicious but the ribs melted right in your mouth and fell completely off the bone with just a tap. Also boiler maker special with Redemption Bourbon and choice of beer which was $13 as well. Can't be beat!

Had a nice time at The Wayfarer tonight! The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Friday night house band Sega Genocide delivers countless memorable hits from the 90's and 2000's that keep the crowd dancing and singing along[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The food menu has a lot of stand out items, and there are a number of craft beers on tap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other nights of the week are filled with touring and local bands, that help keep the OC live music seen thriving and vibrant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I remember seeing the Last Anarchists Standing here and they were memorable to say the least. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bring your friends and let yourself go at The Wayfarer. A good time is here for all comers. Enjoy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Drove out here to see another tribute band called Legend Zeppelin. I had bought my tickets in advance through Eventbrite and had the ticket loaded on my phone's wallet. They don't have a scanner for the QR code so I had to show an email or be on the printed list with the names of all the prepaid tickets. Despite this drawback the staff was very nice and I enjoyed a night listening to some classic rock music.

Recently got laid off and went to blow some steam off with my boyfriend and room mate, we ordered a few drinks and the bar tender with long hair looks at me when I was trying to order more and said I didnt tip him with a nasty look so he took every one else's order...... I waited 30 minutes there and he wouldnt even look at me after. I understand people live off tips but I found it super disrespectful and highly inappropriate... it gets worse.... when I realized he was being a douche I went to the other side of the bar and he saw so he told the other bartender (he was on the bigger side) managing that area something and pointed at me. That bartender never got my order and I waited again for a while until the woman bartending finally got my order. Im so sad and kind of traumatized by what happened because I love goathill and usually staff is nice but I dont know what happened this time, maybe because there was so many people his ego was higher than his height???

The outdoor area has plenty of TV's, a bar, high top tables, lounge chairs, and regular tables. Inside the decor is nice and on brand. Upon arrival, you get the Love Island menu, a lei and a bingo card per person, and a chance to play in their predictions. Service was quick throughout the night even though they were packed. The nachos were yummy. We added chicken and they were good. Hefty servings and easily shared between two people. The drinks are also tasty. I do wish there were more food and drink options offered with Happy Hour prices. Only some drinks are on the happy hour list and nachos are discounted. That said, 10/10 would recommend this spot for a fun date night or a girls' hangout.

If you are looking for a place with dancing, lights, and a festival atmosphere? Then you have found it here. If you looking for a quiet, romantic spot for having a private dinner? This is not a great place for that. The Spanish culture is alive and well. They like music and dance, all night long. We came for the paella and the tapas. We started with bacon wrapped dates and blue cheese. They were excellent. Our paella was so much food, it fed three people, and we took some home for one more meal. This was half priced on Sunday, a great deal. I wish they had a quieter place to really enjoy the meal in peace. Maybe it is just me, but it was too much like a nightclub and not like a restaurant. Overall, we will return for a Sunday meal for paella. This is a real cultural restaurant.

We got there a little before the game and had plenty of choices for seats. It definitely filled up as kickoff got closer, but with TVs everywhere, this place is pretty much built for watching sports. The food was surprisingly good, plenty of choices, good beer selection, and the service was excellent. Our waitresses were friendly and attentive even as the place got busier. It was on the sweeter side but refreshing. For food. We had an assortment. Standouts were the steak dinner and onion rings! I would come back to try other things. The short rib grilled cheese was mid, but would be great to soak up alcohol. Cassidy was an excellent server, even as it got really busy for a UFC fight. Ambiance is definitely fun and unique. It's a fun spot to grab a drink for the ambiance, but as a full meal, it leaves a lot to be desired. The food itself is okay--the quesa birria tacos have decent flavor and the carne asada comes with a nice char--but given the steep prices, you expect way better execution and more generous portions. Paying high-end money for pretty standard street food staples dressed up on nice plateware just feels overpriced. Service was fine enough, nothing to complain about, but the value just isn't there for what they're charging. On top of that, parking can be a bit challenging since it's tucked away in kind of a weird location. If you're going purely for photos, fancy cocktails, and a trendy date night backdrop, it fits the bill, but if you're looking for great food value, there are much better spot-on Mexican joints in OC.
