I wouldn't go anywhere else! I've been getting a Brazilian wax by the owner for over 7 years. All the estheticians are very experienced as well! I'd say # 1 in Tucson. read more

Best place ever! Clean, not painful, easy to make an appointment, super friendly staff and the best part is the amazing wax job! Once you try them out you will never go anywhere else read more

Excellent service ! I made an appointment through Yelp communication the day prior. I actually then forgot my appointment (ugh!) and when they called me, they were kind enough to still accommodate me. The owner Traci was incredibly friendly and chatted with me about local restaurants to try during my eyebrow wax. I was highly satisfied with how my brows looked afterwards! A few days later, I received a follow up text message making sure I was satisfied. I love supporting local businesses, especially when you know people are working hard to grow their business! read more

I cannot say anything but great things about this place Raquel did my Brazilian and it was my first time getting one ever !! not only did she keep me distracted but most importantly she made me feel so comfortable you have no idea how scared I was walking in but with her help it was definitely worth every second it I would 10000%. Recommend her read more

Getting waxed isn't something most would call an enjoyable experience, but finding the right person can make a huge difference. It really does take a special person to put you at ease during a waxing session and Traci is the best! I met her while she was working at another studio but now she has her very own place, so of course I've followed her. Traci is a ball of positive and bright energy. She's super sweet and takes great pride in her work. You'll instantly feel comfortable and at ease. Traci is super professional and above all- she runs a clean operation. I highly recommend Traci to anyone looking for any form of wax service. Right now she is a one woman show...literally doing it all from reception to the waxing. Also, Saturdays she is by appointment only. read more

First time coming into the studio and I loved how clean and modern everything looked. I was a walk in on Friday and they helped schedule me for a lash lift/eyebrow wax the very next day! I can't remember exactly who helped me on Saturday but she was amazing from start to finish. I haven't had my brows done in years just been doing them myself and I think I will have to start letting someone do them for me! They look amazing :) I also got the lash lift which was quite a long process but the results are amazing! Especially because I already have thick lashes they look fantastic. Already booked my next two appointments and looking to get my first wax appointment here just because of how welcoming the entire process was. I know I will feel comfortable trying a new experience here! read more

I lived in Tucson for about a year and stumbled upon this gem after having a horrible experience at European Wax Center *(ok...it wasn't that horrible they just try to sell you a bunch of pointless stuff, and my waxer missed so much hair) anyways...everyone at the The Wax Studio is great. They make you feel comfortable, and do a great job every single time. I'd get my eyebrows, mustache and Brazilian done here sooo safe to say I trust them with my life. Glad I don't live in Tucson anymore but I really do miss this place! read more

I absolutely love this place! Raquel is the goddess of brows. When I first when in my brows were a disaster. She worked her magic and my brows are now fuller and I just love the shape. I will never go anywhere else or let anyone touch my brows. Highly recommend this salon read more

Love this place!!! It's been a long time since I trusted someone enough to get a Brazilian wax and let me tell you I wish I had come in sooner! My girl Raquel is amazing and super gentle! I've only come twice but I'm staying as a loyal customer. The shop is really cute and personable! read more

I got a lash lift done here. My eye lashes are short and super straight. I was a little nervous as it was my first time but all the steps were described to me in great detail so I felt comfortable. It took a while to get used to my new lashes but I love them now. Next time I'll probably opt for a more swoopy look. read more

Raquel is seriously the best! I went to the Waxing Studio to get my eyelashes tinted. And I've been to other studios to get them tinted previously. But my lashes have never looked so good. She did they perfectly, exactly how I wanted them. I will definitely be going back for other services. :))))) read more

This was amazing. I would come here time and again. The woman that gave me my service was very knowledgeable and thorough. I am bummed I was only visiting and won't be able to come to her every time. It is two days later and I still have no irritation or break out from my eyebrow would mention waxing. Definitely wonderful read more

The entire team at The Waxing Studio are amazing!!! All are incredibly well trained and make the experience a good one!!! The products they sell are top notch and definitely not found easily in Tucson. I have been a client for a couple of years and will not go anywhere else!!! read more

UPDATE: a couple of days after the service that never was, the owner Tracy contacted me. She apologized for the fact that I was not offered a shorter service, like a classic bikini, and asked if I would like to come in and receive a complementary service, just so I could actually experience a wax from them. I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. Tracy put me at ease (I was pretty nervous, as waxing is never a pleasant experience) but most importantly, she did an excellent job. Her technique is much less painful than I was used to in Hawaii (we just moved to Tucson from HI), and she is very thorough and meticulous. I will be coming back, as a great job on such an intimate service is worth the drive. She never asked me to update my review to receive a complimentary service, which I appreciate, but I am updating it anyway because I do feel the actual service was excellent and it would not be fair for me to receive a service and not review it. I will recommend this waxing salon to others, but with very explicit directions on how to find it! Original Review: I would give this place zero stars, if I could. I just got home from wasting two hours of my life, for nothing. I could not tell you how their work is, because I did not receive any service! I had an appointment booked, and was in the TMC Emergency Room with my 5 year-old on the day of service and wasn't sure if we would be out in time for me to go all the way home (we live in Corona), drop her off, and get back, so I called to reschedule. I rescheduled for today at 5:30 (the only time I had, rush hour is never ideal), and drove 45 minutes from my home in Corona to this wax place. I arrived in the area at my appointment time, but could not find their business- we just moved here, so I am already not familiar with the area, and I don't know if their business is small or what, because I never found it. I called to ask where exactly they were located since I was lost, (I was a little past it, at Albertsons) and the girl that answered said they were next to Dunkin' Donuts, so I put Dunkin' Donuts into my GPS and drove the quarter mile and called from Dunkin' since I still did not see their store front, even though it was supposed to be in that area. The girl that answers said that since I was TWO MINUTES past the 10 minute "grace period," Raquel would not give me my service. I understand that she had other customers, but she could have offered a shorter service, like a classic bikini, instead of a Brazilian. Nope! Just "you have to reschedule." I drove 90 minutes round trip for NOTHING. I could understand if I was a regular customer just waltzing in late, but as someone very new to the area and to their business, you would think they would try to work with their customer and help them, not waste hours of their time. If anyone can recommend a great place closer to South Tucson/Vail, I'd love to hear it so I can try it, and put it on the list I'm compiling for other new, incoming military families. This place obviously has enough business, they don't need new customers. :/ read more

This place never disappoints! I would definitely recommend for all your waxing needs!

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is so inviting and calming. There's a personal touch that creates an instant welcoming effect. Tracey, the esthetician herself, is charismatic and warm. She has an aura of pure acceptance and you can't help but feel completely comfortable with her. I've been a client for a year and will never go to another person. I would definitely and have suggested her and her studio to my friends and will trust her with my daughters if they so chose this route of self care. She and her place is just that amazing. Give her a call and see for yourself. read more

GIRLS IN THE TUCSON AREA AND THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE LISTEN UP!!! Traci is a star! I swear she is the master brow shaper of the universe, waxing goddess of the century and a force to be reckoned with!! And lets not forget she does a killer bikini wax! She is sooo personable and makes you feel really comfortable and incredibly welcome!! (Which is rare in this town, let me tell ya!) I am soooo blessed to have found a place to get whatever i need waxed, that doesn't make me dread going!! What I also love about this studio is it offers so much more than waxing!! You can get your lashes tinted and lifted, eyebrows micro bladed and eyebrows dyed!! LIKE YES MAMI DROP WHATEVER h** is doing your brows and go to Traci ladies!!! read more

I am new to Tucson and especially new to Brazilian waxes. I've always considered one but was too nervous to get one back home. After arriving in Tucson I finally decided to stop being a chicken and just get one! I did my research and came across The Waxing Studio. It looked super cute in the pictures and had great reviews! I mustered up the courage and called to set up an appointment. The employee I spoke with on the phone was so friendly and helped me set up an appointment within the week. She told me everything I would need to know to be prepared to get my first Brazilian and reassured me that I would be in good hands. I arrived to my appointment and was instantly greeted by a happy, energetic employee. She had me fill out a consent form and made conversation with me during the process. She offered me water and directed me towards the restroom if I needed to use it. The shop is also super clean, chic, and welcoming! The staff is so sweet, knowledgeable, and down to earth. You can really tell they love what they do and that is really comforting going into a place you've never been before. My esthetician took me back to the room and explained exactly what to do to get myself ready for her to wax me. Gave me a table to set all my belongings on, wipes to freshen up if I needed, and a towel to cover myself. She stepped out of the room to give me privacy and I got ready. She made sure to knock on the door to make sure I was ready to go before coming back in. Once she was back in the room she went over the whole process with me and said she'd take it slow and let me know every time she was ready to pull the wax. Throughout the entire appointment, she continued to make sure I was doing okay, asked if the temperature of the wax was okay, AND carried on conversation with me to make me feel more comfortable. And not just your typical small talk, I felt like I was talking to a good friend! That really helped keep my mind off the pain. And to be honest, it definitely wasn't as bad as I thought, and I think a lot of that has to do with the place I chose to go to! My esthetician was so gentle but also very efficient. Once done she gave me all the aftercare instructions, suggested products they have that would work best for me (but didn't force the products on me like a lot of places do), and even gave me a little goodie bag with a few products to get me started AND a $10 off card for my next Brazilian. The Waxing Studio went above and beyond my expectations and I honestly can't wait to come back and get more things waxed. I can't believe I went so long without trying it! If you're looking for a place that is going to genuinely take care of you, and not just try to get you in and out the door, I would say The Waxing Studio is the place to go! read more

New to AZ and finding a comfortable place for waxing services is always a challenge BUT would definitely recommend Traci and Kennedy! The front desk is always so welcoming as well. I'm originally from Tucson. I flew in from Georgia to visit family and did some research of anyone who did microblading. After EXTENSIVE research and calls and emails I finally decided on the waxing studio. Two reasons, I needed someone within 24 hours because I had to leave back to Georgia the next day. And also because of Traci (the owner) called me, went over in detail the procedure and what to expect were able to fit me in, I was SO thankful. She did my microblading and my experience was AMAZING! The atmosphere is so comfortable, they make you feel like family/friends. Not only that but it's so refreshing to see people who truly enjoy what they do! I have been getting nothing but compliments on my brows! I plan on flying back and getting my touch ups. Completely worth it. read more

So I have to say, Traci is an absolute boss when it comes to microblading. I have been thinking about it for about a year and finally had it done with Traci, and I am so mad at myself for not doing it sooner!! She is very thorough, meticulous and knowledgeable with the products. Traci knows her stuff and she makes sure you are fully educated as well before any service. Her shop is cute, modern and clean. Again I can't say enough about Traci and her skills. My mom is scheduled in January to gey her eyebrows microbladed too! Don't waste your time overpaying in Scottsdale, come see Traci, you won't be disappointed. read more

So I used to come to Traci & Raquel for my waxing needs years ago I recently found them again and I went to them every so often. When I knew she did microblading work I told my mom about it since she went through chemotherapy and lost a lot of her hair. This is a service she's been wanting to get done for a while now. So since I knew Traci did microblading work I referred my mom. Long story short my mom was left with botched work. She paid $500 for her "expertise" in microblading. The first session nothing stuck , almost all ink was gone, so she went back for the touch up and also at this touch up my mother was not numbed correctly, she had one of her other workers not Raquel but a new one numb her and Traci had to re numb my mother. After this touch up she explained to my mom "there's nothing we can't fix ,come back in 3 weeks to see the process" NEVER did she tell my mom "if the first one or second one doesn't stick we have to charge you $250 for additional session" at this point it just felt like a money thing. I called a week after to make the follow up appointment that Traci said to make to check up on how the healing is going. When I called the, new girl explained it would be $250 to have another session and we had to wait 6 weeks I explained to her that Traci was aware of my mom's situation and that she specifically told her to follow up in 3 weeks. She said she'd have Traci call me back that she was on vacation. So I called as a walk in to talk to Traci and guess what? She wasn't on vacation she was there. Anyways a week later Traci finally calls me back leaves a voicemail I give her a call back the new girl answered and told me Traci would reach out..... never have I heard back from them. I decided to get a few opinions from microblading techs and every single one of them said it was botched, the strokes the ink everything was off , the last referral I got from my original waxing expert at another salon was amazing and boy am I thankful for her because she helped my mom with her botched work and made her brows now beautiful. I hate that I trusted someone based off of loyalty and that was not returned. Not even through customer service and not reaching back out. I understand if she wants to continue charging great amounts for work that wasn't done right in the first place but take ownership and say that first time, have a disclosure form have these things written out but she didn't. It sucks that my mom receive this type of service when it was supposed to be a great thing for her but as I said before my moms brows were recently corrected by another customer oriented and professional tech who DIDNT over charge and was honest that due to where her brows were at it might take a few sessions and it might take time to get the right color she was honest about everything. she may be an expert at waxing and brow shaping but in our opinion microblading isn't her best. And also it's really strange that other clients on here and other techs take their time anywhere from 2- 4 hours people on here saying she took her time up to 4 hours yet with my mom who had no brows no shape she only took 1 hour! Seems a bit strange and rushed. read more

Okay okay so I'm from LA, I was a bit skeptical about trying any place in Tucson to do my eyebrows due to the fact that I take eyebrows so serious. I mean they're on my face lol, but anyways I did a little yelp research and found The Waxing Studio. I seen that Traci had nothing but good reviews, there were also pictures of eyebrows that she did. Looking at the work I was impressed. Then I seen the price, I was a little sketchy about that due to the fact that I come from LA where I would only pay 6 dollars lol. I eventually got over the price when I noticed my brows growing out of control. So I called the studio made an appointment with Traci. Let me tell you this she's the sweetest over the phone and in person. When I arrived to my appointment she took me straight to the waxing room and began chatting with me, we talked about how the wax work, how much hair I wanted off my brows, what shape I wanted my brows, oh and let's not forget we talked about how scared I was to try someone new lol. She assured that I had nothing to worry about. I WAS IN GOOD HANDS. Once she was done I was amazed how good my brows looked even though we are trying to transform them into something better. THANK YOU TRACI read more

Traci recently opened up this studio, however, I've been coming to her for around 2 1/2 years now, and she is the only person I trust to be my esthetician. She has done a Brazilian Wax on me, eyebrow wax, and eyebrow tint. I don't believe anyone could do any of these services and more, better than she can. I've gone to four salons total in Tucson, and this studio is the best. Traci is super sweet, an excellent conversationalist, and makes you feel very comfortable. She is completely professional and has been a certified esthetician for years. Traci actually takes the time to make sure that every last bit of hair was gone, unlike other estheticians who will miss so much and not say anything. She also uses a wax that does not hurt one bit. I love how convenient it is to be able to schedule an appointment through text. I would recommend going to the Waxing Studio over any place in Tucson. read more

Traci microbladded my nearly non existent brows and to say she did an amazing job is an understatement. She was professional, detail oriented, made me feel comfortable, and knew what suited my face.
