Let me start off by saying that I have been getting waxed(legs and Brazilian)for years at European Wax Center because they use hard wax and I have always found it to be much more comfortable than soft wax, so I was a bit apprehensive about getting my full legs done with soft(you can do your Brazilian with hard, thank God). I am happy to report that Drew is the best tech I have EVER had. In addition to being thorough, she was super friendly and we had great conversation throughout. I just moved here from Kansas City and don't know anyone and I think I love it here because of her, lol. Thanks Drew! The only things I would say could use improvements are as follows- -Being able to schedule an appointment would be so much easier and more convenient for a lot of us... this was my first time and I waited about 30 minutes but I imagine it could get a lot longer -Having the option of choosing to do all hard wax as I know some people can have adverse side effects with the soft wax and strips, myself being one in the past. Fortunately for me, Drew was phenomenal and I've realized it was probably human error all those years ago. I will definitely be back. The prices are great! read more

I was allergic to the wax and my skin broke out and I had to go to another store to buy benadryl to clear up the rash. The person that applied the wax didn't know what to do when my skin broke out. read more

Have been needing to get my eyebrows waxed for about 2 weeks. New to this area so I was really apprehensive about letting new ppl do my eyebrows. No need to worry in this case. This Wax Stip location is loacated in the Publix Shopping Center off of Hwy 96, across the street from Lowe's and the Goodwill. I have never been to any Wax Strip division so this was a first. They offer all kinds of services and have packages too. They do: face, arms, legs, bikini area, back, hands (basically the whole body) They have about 10 different packages too. The inside was nice and clean and each room hair the dentist like chair to lay in, and each room had a door connected to it and it was spacious and tidy. I detest filth but I can say I felt comfortable and the items she used looked clean and of course the items were disposable except the wax. First she asked me what type of look I was going for, I'm not into all of that, I just wanted them cleaned up a bit. She trimmed me first, then began waxing. She didn't let the wax stay on too long which i loved and her method was quick and painless as can be. She was very efficient and she took her time. I loved the results. At one point I had stopped waxing b/c I kept getting the skin tears and flaking of skin afterwards ( like a lil burn area) it didn't happen this time. And when I washed my face that night it didn't burn - usually I have to avoid the area for the first 2 days so obviously I was getting waxed incorrectly before. I will definitely go again read more

On a Friday at 11:30 am it was a 45 minute wait for an eyebrow wax. Very short staffed. I wish I would of been told it was going to be that long because I could of run errands and came back. The wait is always ridiculously long. I made the mistake of buying the package my first time there and I have tried 4 times in the past two weeks, all different times of day, to come get my eyebrows waxed. Each time there has been a waiting room full and a 30-45 min wait. I understand it's walk in, but maybe consider hiring more help. Yes I know it's a total first world problem, but nobody wants to wait 45 minutes to get their eyebrows waxed. read more

Got a Brazilian done. The one who did me was nice and did a great job! I prefer appointment times but having walk ins was nice and did not take long at all. My first time ever! A young lady by the name of heaven did my Brazilian wax. She was reassuring and made me feel comfortable and not so weirded out, lol. No matter the technician however, no one could have prepared me for that first rip of the wax strip! Once I got past that the rest went well as I kind of knew what to expect. The ladies let me know what products to use and how to take care of my skin after my waxing. They offered me a package deal for future waxes. I have experienced quite a few rude Receptionists at the Kathleen location, but my experience with the Manager at this location was the final straw. The Manager is unprofessional and has poor Customer Service, she is confrontational and unfriendly. 3 of us showed up for our appointment a little early and was told by the receptionist that only four customers can wait in the lobby at a time per Safety guidelines, well there was only one other customer in the lobby which makes four of us and she wanted us to leave and wait outside. She then went to tell the Manager, who then comes out to the Lobby and rudely states "Do you guys have an issue that you want to discuss has I overheard your conversation!" , she goes on to repeat that we have to wait outside per Safety guidelines that they never told us to read and never told us to use the hand sanitizer as the sign states that we should do. I pointed out to her that the Safety guidelines states 4 Customers may be in the lobby waiting at a time so long as they are six feet apart as the chairs were already set up that way! She spoke to us very nasty, she went back and forth with us and stated "she will call the owner herself and we could call as well and then walked off, she then proceeded to take other customers back for service despite the fact that they were Walk-ins, which we were told you have to make an appointment as we did! She needs Customer Service Training, as well as, Leadership Training if she is going to manage a business. There are better ways to handle situations and better ways to explain to Customers the current process under the circumstances (perhaps when we called to schedule the appointments all Safety guidelines could have been explained then, prior to our arrival). I have been going to this location since it opened and I am sad to say due to this incident I will not return! read more
