The location of this establishment is off in the "cut" however it's really close to Dairy Queen, pretty much around the corner. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the owner. I expressed to Kavita (the owner) that I wanted my brows threaded and she provided. This is my first experience getting my brows threaded in Georgia, i usually get them waxed around the corner but I had been getting them threaded up North and I liked the look so I searched for a place in GA and the only place I found that does it in the area was Priya Beauty Salon per YELP. I was happy that my brows were finally groomed because it had been a while but the final result wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. She didn't do a bad job it just wasn't what I was use to with threading. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was a teenager and really it is the only way I will get them done. So much so that the last time I had them done was in 2017 because I had not found someone to thread them since then. Moving back to Macon my SIL shared that she knew of Priya so I decided to needed to get my brows back in shape. I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and it was nice because I was able to be seated right away. Thankfully my eyebrows aren't the craziest looking so it didn't take to long. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and I felt like she did a killer job on my eyebrows. I had my brows done by Kevita (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was so pleasant. So. I've been doing clinical at an army hospital, and basically been getting my ass handed to me every day. All day. FIne, says I, it's not like I'm likely to fix all of my numerous shortcomings, so why not just look as pretty as you can while getting humiliated. It's the least thing I could do. Clearly, nothing makes you look better than freshly groomed brows....hence my trek to Priya. As I'm pulling up, I see a woman in a white minivan, hauling ass out of the parking lot. I absently think, hmmm, that looks like one of the ladies that does my brows. I get out of my car, and here comes the woman, grinning at me and pointing to her eyebrows. Clearly, Priya has changed their totally random hours, and they're closed, but this lady wheels her minivan around, pulls up to the front, calls some other woman from the market next door to watch her baby in the backseat, and tells me to come in. "I thought you were my customer" she says, "come on". She runs in, turns on the lights, and in a few minutes, I have lovely, human eyebrows again. I love Priya. First for the price....six bucks, second for the great job, and now, for this fabulous customer service. Yay! You just can't beat this. read more

As I walked in, I was ignored by both ladies as they talked to each other. The woman working on my eyebrows did an amazing job however did not sanitize her hands after working on the lady before me and she had hair dye sitting in her hair. The whole experience was just unprofessional. Also, I came here because I saw they had 6$ threading, but they bumped up the price to 8$ (still decent for this area). Additionally, the location is not the best, as it is in a pretty much abandoned shopping center. 3 stars for experience, but she did good on my brows. read more

I really don't know what some of the negative reviews are about because I've never had better service in my life when it comes to getting my eyebrows done and my lip waxed. The lady that owns the place did a great job on my eyebrows! She was really fast and my eyebrows were threaded in perfect shape. I just moved here from Arkansas and the ladies that used to do my eyebrows in the mall were slow and it was really painful. I was in and out within minutes and just paid $9 for BOTH services! I usually pay $12 to just get my eyebrows done alone! I highly recommend this place; I will be back in the future. read more

You won't find a nicer woman who loves her customers as much as Kavita!! I doubt you'd beat her prices and service either. Its worth the 20 minute drive for eyebrow threading. I am a regular customer. I get my eyebrows threaded about once a month when I come to Macon. Kavita, the owner of Priya, is the only person that I trust to thread my eyebrows. She always does an awesome job, and she is so nice and sweet! I use to get my eyebrows threaded with my mom and dad before I went off to college. Now when I come see her, she always asks how my family is doing, and I love that. On top of doing a great job, she only charges $6 versus $10 or $20 that other small shops charge. So I heard a lot of good things about this place but when I went to get my eyebrows threaded the lady made one side thinner than the other one and one eyebrow was so arched and the other straight. The woman was very friendly and I talked to her about the spots I was trying to let grow in.
