The Pokémon advertising on the windows of The Warp Gate called us over after we came out of Staples. I wasn't sure if this was more orientated to adults before we went in, but the staff was great with the kids in the shop. They had a nice selection of Pokémon cards to go through. The space has a nice large room with multiple ling tables and chairs to play. A selection of merchandise from various franchises is available along one side. Next to the counter is access to a smaller room that looked, to this absolute layperson on the topic, like a very impressive setup for both playing and shopping for Warhammer. The calendar looked to be packed with opportunities to play various tabletop games and cards. Good location in the Kenny Centre Mall near all of those awesome restaurants and plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. read more

My husband loves to play Warhammer and says there is a great item selection here. I like to play Lorcana and am not really into anything else, but I can say they have fair prices, offer single cards available and have a nice selection as well. My wife and I visited from out of town, she was looking for a card as a gift for someone along with the matching art card. The employee who helped us quickly found the card and unfortunately didn't have the art card handy, no big deal they're a weird commodity. I put an online order in for a few singles later that day (website and selection is phenomenal by the way) and called to see if I could pick up same day since I was leaving the next morning. They said no problem. When I went to pick the cards up they had found the art card and included it in the order. I don't even remember giving the employee my name, but it was serious heartwarming kindness and thoughtfulness on the employees part. This store rocks and I wish it was closer to me. read more

I first met the owner of this store a couple of years ago, as friend connections through my brother. Stephen is probably the most down to earth, legit man you'll ever meet inside a game store. He first started his business in a basement, and had plenty of stuff regardless, and no matter what, he was always hospitable and very helpful with advice. With his chosen employees, they also have his friendly aura and energetic wile. They love what they do, and want nothing more than to make your decks/games the best they can be and will offer the best and/or a saving alternative. He's got what you need, or he'll find a way. Magic: the Gathering, Pokémon, WarHammer, and a bit of other games you can find here. Supplies for these games are also bountiful with the space given, and a load of tables.
