Trish is the absolute best. We hired her as a partial planner to help us with the big and little things. She is so on top of everything and is incredibly organized. She helped us feel calm and stress free, and also helped us enjoy the process of planning our wedding!!! Trish always made herself available whenever we needed her, and made sure to reach out to us if she hadn't heard from us in a while. Trish was our guiding light during the entire process. She helped us find many of our other vendors, and everybody she led us to was incredibly professional, awesome, and just what we were looking for. She helped our vision come to fruition and is the reason we had the BEST WEDDING EVER! Not only did she help us have the best wedding ever, we also feel like we gained a friend in the process. She's the loveliest, kindest human and we highly recommend her as a wedding planner. read more

I had doubts when my daughter said she was going to use a wedding planner, I couldn't have been any more wrong about that idea!! Best decision she could have ever made. Trish was beyond great at making sure my daughters wedding was perfect! Every detail from the flowers, pictures, the venues (and times) selected for both the wedding and the reception, were absolutely perfect. It would be impossible for the wedding and reception to have turned out any better than it did. Thank you so much Trish. read more

Originally when I started wedding planning, I always thought to myself that I was one of those cool/calm/collected/casual... although organized and knew exactly what I wanted... brides that didn't need a wedding planer, I GOT THIS! Well, let me tell you, Trish and Drew with The Walk Down The Aisle, completely changed my original mindset on thinking I didn't want or need a wedding planner for a multitude of reasons. It was 7 weeks before my wedding and I just found out my original venue was hit from the Feb storms in Palm Springs and construction wasn't going to be completed in time. I was lost, stressed, scrambling trying to figure out what next. Where were my guests going to stay? I need a venue, a caterer, rentals, etc. And I have less than 2 months to replan a wedding I had been envisioning and planning for the last 10 months. I am so lucky that yelp led me to this dream team. Trish took the time to discuss my worries, thoughts, desires, budgets and help formulate plans to quickly move forward. She helped with new ideas, possibilities and quickly contacted other vendors and venues in the area within walkable distance from our original venue. Anything I brought up she would be right there, prepared, to answer all my questions: what would this cost, is it reasonable to execute, do we have the time for this, is it worth it? Are there better or different ideas in this realm? She was 100% available by phone, email, text, carrier pigeon, whatever anytime of the day to myself or my now husband. She met with us in person to tour new venues and just like that we had a whole new plan, executed to perfection. Trish is organized, communicative, attentive, connected, visual and always thinks 3 steps ahead. And then theres Drew. Let me tell you about Drew.... He is a "day of" that works with Trish and he quickly turned into my other BFF, aside from Trish. Drew is such a kind and caring soul and he was "the talk" of all my wedding guests. "Who was the guy in the killer boots?? WE LOVED HIM". He organized every small detail exactly how I wanted it in a visually appealing and absolute STUNNING way. He organized all vendors the day of, everything I brought from home, stayed on timeline, handled every mishap and found solutions quickly without interrupting my husbands or my day. Oh yeah, and he did this for us at two different venues a half mile apart... Overall, I am so glad everything happened in the exact way it happened. Our wedding turned out better than I ever could have imaged with the help of this Dream Team. Our ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect at the Villa Royale, and our dinner and reception was beyond all our hopes and dreams at Mr. Lyons. I couldn't have done it without the two of them and I will recommend this team to any bride that I cross paths with in the Palm Springs region. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Trish. I have had the pleasure of working multiple weddings with The Walk Down the Aisle, and as a wedding photographer I can put 100% of my trust in her and her team. Trish has a way of getting things done, no matter what the task, no matter what the obstacle, before you have even anticipated it, she has already handled it. There are so many moving parts to a wedding day, and Trish manages them all effortlessly. Trish is a champion of her couples and her vendors. Her confidence and ease is so calming and gives couples the mental space to fully enjoy their day. From a vendor's perspective, her cool cadence allows vendors to perform at their best with the knowledge that they are FULLY supported. I am so excited to work with Trish in the future, and cannot recommend her enough to couples getting married. She knows her stuff inside and out, and hiring her is going to be one of the best choices you make for your wedding day. read more

The Walk Down the Aisle - From one of our weddings together, styled so beautifully by Trish and her team - Wedding Planning Near Me

We were referred to Trish from another couple who were also married in Palm Springs. We clicked with her from the very first phone call. She is honest, pragmatic and such a positive light during (what can be) a stressful time for couples! She helped us execute our vision within our budgetary requirements. She helped answer all of my questions, coordinated timely check-in's and provided examples/templates if we ever wanted to do something on our own. She was particularly helpful in navigating the contract language and finding local vendors. She is also very well-respected in the Inland Empire/SoCal region which is a plus! We highly recommend her if you are looking for wedding planning for your special day! read more

Trish went above and beyond in every aspect on our special day. My wife and I worked with Trish for our outdoor wedding at the Old Polo Estate in September and it was everything we hoped it would be. In the months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding Trish was able to take our thoughts and focus them down into a vision and then helped us execute to perfection. As the wedding approached Trish worked with all of our vendors to ensure everything went off without a hitch (spoiler alert, it was perfect) keeping us in the loop all the way. Trish was familiar with the majority of the vendors we booked on our own, and was invaluable in providing quality vendors references for us along the way. For our rehearsal dinner, Trish (somehow) managed to organize a group of 16 bridesmaids and groomsmen and walk them through the entire ceremony in under an hour. On the day of the wedding, Trish was on-site early, and even brought coffee for the bride and myself (thank youuu) and worked with the venue staff, vendors, and guests to ensure that the wedding party had nothing to worry about. The ceremony was perfect, and Trish and her staff worked to ensure the transition from the ceremony, to the reception was as smooth as possible, and it showed. Towards the end of the reception, Trish and her staff ensured everyone was happy, and stayed until each vendor had left. Trish thank you for all of your help :) Austen & Caitlin read more

The Walk Down the Aisle goes above and beyond, and I would recommend a coordinator like Trish in a heartbeat for any couple! My husband and I planned a destination wedding, and I started to wonder if we should look into a coordinator. Trish offered to hop on a call as a free consultation. We stayed on the phone for over an hour, and I knew right away we wanted her on our team. Trish is so creative. She is quick to come up with solutions. She knows the vendors in town, and she is a master of details that we would never dream of -- like the chairs and AV that our venue provides. She pulled together our vision and brought it to life. With her help, we had a beautiful day with little to no stress. Trish was worth every penny. read more

From the first time I spoke with Trish I could tell she was definitely the planner I wanted to use for my wedding. We literally started to plan my wedding from the first moments we spoke!! I had a really hard time securing a venue because of the pandemic. However, she was there every step of the way with me during my search. We have literally SO MANY EMAILS where she provided the best recommendations and guidance. Working with her made wedding planning not so overwhelming after-all. I ended up securing a venue date where she was unavailable so we unfortunately had to part ways...but to say the least I miss working with her!! I'm still planning my wedding - AND I'm still referencing all the information and guidance she provided me. Trish is super organized, enthusiast, and extremely knowledgeable. Vendors in the palm springs area ALL love her! It is apparent that she loves what she does and she is GOOD AT IT! Book her I promise you wont regret it. read more

Trish is seriously the best wedding planner ever! Every recommendation she had from hair and make-up... To food... To the photographer... To the flowers was truly perfect. I think what was so amazing about Trish was how she was able to work with our Venue to do things they wouldn't normally do (e.g., bring in an outside caterer). She also was able to quickly get in sync with the vibe of wedding we were going for using just a few pictures. We love Trish! She seriously designed and organized a dream wedding that exceed every single expectation. read more

I was crazy enough to plan a wedding in California (while I live in New York). I needed some hands on the ground, someone who knew the scene in the desert. Once I spoke with Trish on the phone, I knew she was the person I needed. Trish has a way of puling ideas and your vision out of you to help plan the perfect day. We had a beautiful wedding at Rimrock Ranch, and Trish helped us manage all of our vendors, and alert us to the little things you may not know about the area/venue. She was a master of rentals, and execution. She was always there for me, and never went MIA. I had no worries that weekend, and it was all because of Trish!! Thank You for helping us with our special day (and the rehearsal the night before)!!!!!! read more

As a Joshua Tree wedding officiant who writes custom ceremonies for my couples, I've had the pleasure of working side by side with Trish on many, many weddings. I've also worked along side other wedding planners, and so have the benefit of seeing how Trish's magic is unique. Her combination of "attention to detail" and her warm, easy-going energy makes everyone around her relax. Quite a feat on a wedding day when tensions run high. That warm, friendly energy and "I'll take care of it" attitude is what allows her couples - and vendors - the space to be in the moment and sink in to the beauty of the day. Any time she calls me with a couple needing an officiant, I'm in, because I know her couple will be well taken care of, and we'll all have a wonderful time. She's the best there is. read more

Trish Jones was our planner for our Palm Springs wedding in February of 2017. Having a destination wedding, with friends and family flying in from all over the world all while starting a new job definitely required a planner like Trish. She was on top of every detail, sent me reminders, worked with all of our unusual requests and ideas and she did all of this while keeping a wonderfully positive attitude. She was always available and took such great care of us. We honestly felt we were her only couple and it was such a comforting feeling. We love Trish and all the amazing work she did for us. As someone who didn't believe in needing a planner, trust me! You do, and you need someone like Trish! read more

I highly recommend Trish as a wedding planner for all those looking in the Palm Springs/Joshua Tree area. Trish is a local so she really knows the ins and outs of the area, including everyone in the wedding business. She is a creative genius and will have your wedding planned out from the minute you start talking. She is quick to respond to all emails and fast to think- always 3 steps ahead and thinking of an alternative if need be. She's not afraid to offer her opinion and get down to the dirty details which is helpful for brides that need guidance! I truly felt like Trish went above & beyond for me as I was scoping out wedding venues... and I wasn't even her client yet! Unfortunately I did not end up choosing the venue we originally wanted in PS but I still had to leave Trish a raving review because she is that great!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

My husband and I were thrilled with our wedding, and it goes without saying that it would not have happened without Trish Jones' support! Trish gave me such sound advice all along the way (both creative and tactical) and her presence and direction on the day of our wedding gave me all the reassurance I needed to know that the ceremony, reception, and afterparty would be executed beautifully. Trish possesses a very special set of skills and the ideal disposition to help see married couples and their families through this process, and I feel so lucky that we were able to secure her team (shoutout to Drew and Sarah!). Thank you Trish from the bottom of our hearts for all of the love, energy, creativity, and wisdom you brought to our wedding day. I have received so many wonderful notes from friends and family saying how much they enjoyed themselves and all of the little touches that kept everything connected and the momentum going full steam until the end of the night. I don't even know where to begin, Trish has been amazing since day one. I had called around and emailed several Palm Springs/Joshua Tree wedding planners. After just five minutes of talking to Trish on the phone I knew she was the perfect fit for us. The planning process was so smooth, and easy. She respected my budget, gave me options, direction, and amazing recommendations and deals. She has so many connections and personal relationships with so many vendors. I had a dream team of vendors - thanks to Trish! It was such a great feeling to know I was in such great hands. Unfortunately our venue owners were having some personal issues causing some last minute stress and instability issues. Trish spent so much time and effort advocating for me and our contract. Trish arranged for landscapers to come in and her event coordinators Drew and Melissa to come help problem solve, clean the venue and ceremony site, and most importantly hug me and listen to me. Despite all the venue issues I only have amazing memories of the wedding! Trish, Drew and Melissa truly saved the day. We had a small intimate wedding of about 50 people, every single person told me how amazing, beautiful and smooth our wedding was and how much they loved our planners. Even now in the weeks following the wedding Trish has been a huge support and advocate. I am so thankful and grateful to have met and worked with Trish. She is a genuine, kind person and is surrounded by an amazing team. read more

Trish and I have crossed paths many times working weddings from 29 Palms to Indio. She is an amazing coordinator with a wealth of event production knowledge and knows every venue/vendor in the greater desert area. Detailed, positive, caring, calm and most importantly available whenever needed. If you're looking for an event/wedding planner you should at least speak with her. read more

Trish was great to work with! We could not have found our Yucca Valley venue without her help. She made us feel so taken care of and put all her great desert contacts at our disposal. Best of all we could tell she really cared the whole way through! Thanks Trish :-) read more

I can't imagine planning a Pioneertown wedding without Trish and her team! Our daughter and (now) son-in-law chose the Pioneertown Sound Stage as the perfect venue for their bohemian desert wedding. They had a clear vision of what they wanted the wedding to be like including décor and events , but when we saw the venue contract and that they'd need to bring in everything from portable toilets to drinking water and a staged kitchen, we knew that we needed help from someone intimately familiar with the venue and Pioneertown/Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree area. Fortunately, our kids found Trish and The Walk Down the Aisle. The "peace of mind" contract included some pre-wedding planning, including emails and phone calls as well as day-of-event coordination. Trish also provided recommendations for local vendors and, while some non-local vendors were chosen by the bride and groom, she reviewed all of the contracts, reassuring us that nothing critical would be forgotten. The few times we parents contacted Trish for recommendations, such as transportation options and Sunday brunch venues, she was most helpful and responsive. The attention to detail showed by the vendor worksheets and day-of-event schedule was mind-boggling and could not have been duplicated by us, not even taking into account the added stress this planning would have added for all involved. She went "above and beyond" to help be sure their vision was realized. Trish and her assistants Drew and Sarai really showed their worth on the wedding day, with a magical event that seemed effortless to everyone attending but which we know was anything but! As parents, we relaxed and enjoyed the wedding--knowing that Trish and her team had everything under control--and watching our kids actually having fun at their own wedding was priceless. read more

My daughter and I were so fortunate to find Trish. I foolishly thought I could do the wedding without a coordinator, but soon realized that it would be impossible to do it alone. Our florist referred her to me and I liked her from the first phone conversation. When we met in person I knew for sure she was the right one. She has a calm demeanor and the sweetest laugh, which was exactly what i knew i would need on the big day. At the wedding she and her assistant Sarai (another gem) Took care of everything! If anything went wrong I never knew and neither did the bride because the day was sheer perfection! She seemed to be everywhere that day and night checking constantly on every detail. She completely understood my daughters vision for her wedding and helped us formulate plans and ideas. But the most beautiful thing she did was LISTEN! even to the little things she seemed to hear it and remember it. How do I know? Because the day of the wedding as she showed me the memorial table she sat a small owl next to the picture of my sister. A small thing she heard my daughter and I speak of as we call her our wise old owl. Now that is beyond a wedding coordinator! That is a human with a huge heart. We are forever grateful. read more
