A review posted in honor of the experience one of my friends had this past week -…read more My husband and I came to Charleston specifically for the food, and out of all the amazing meals we had, Miller's All Day was hands down our favorite. We came for breakfast and started with the banana bread with Nutella cream cheese -- absolutely incredible. We also split the cornmeal pancakes, which were so good we came back the next morning just to have them again. I ordered the B.E.C. with the home fries, and I can honestly say they may have been the best potatoes I've ever had in any form. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the turkey club and said it was fantastic as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We loved it so much we went back the very next day. 10/10 -- highly recommend if you're visiting Charleston!

He also had a meal removed from the bill - it was brought out Luke warm unfortunately. Overall food was good everyone was happy with their choices. Burger didn't come with fries but was big enough to fill up an 18 year old boy. Salad had a great sauce, was a little thrown off with the cold waffle but it's supposed to come like that server said. The avocado toast was so good but eggs were cold unfortunately. It didn't ruin the taste so still recommend. Visited on vacation but I would go back and try other plates.

It's been 11 years since I posted my last review for this place. I was concerned when I made the…read morereservation that maybe it had lost its luster since I was last here. Happily, I was wrong! Everything went extremely well from the check-in experience, to the food, and the service. Our reservation was for 6:30pm but we got there a full hour early. They gave us a table immediately, no problem. Our server was Maisie and she was wonderful. Patient. Attentive. Super friendly. We ordered drinks and the Pimento Cheese Fritters. They were incredible! We also tried the She Crab Bisque and it was over the top! Delicious and full of lump crab meat. When Maisie brought us our first plates, she asked us if we were considering the pork chop, which is exactly what we were interested in. She said there were only two left and held one for us. This is the kind of excellent service she provided throughout the meal. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a wonderful wood smoked flavor. The whipped potatoes and roasted heirloom baby carrots were the perfect accompaniment. Nothing has changed inside or out since my last visit. The vibe is Charleston laid back and comfortable. I'm so glad I came back.

It was Labor Day and things seemed on the quiet side in town. The ambience was great and we were on the second floor. We got right to the libations (he had a Malbec and I, the cider they had available). And then the entrees - hubby got the shrimp and grits, that's usually my dish but I was glad he got it so I could taste. I got the fried chicken, with hoppin John over white rice, and collards. So good! And I wasn't even hungry but I had to test the "award winning" and "famous" labels on our dishes. The chicken is a huge serving - 4 pieces of juicy, tasty chicken - an entire quarter. The hoppin John was good - I just wish there were more hoppin John and less rice. Service was 5 star. Donte was a real treat and looked after us well. For dessert, I was hoping for bread pudding, but it wasn't on the menu, and everyone in the dining room was ordering the banana pudding so we got that to share. It is a large serving, enough for two. The presentation was cute, the taste was regular, and I didn't taste a hint of alcohol (it was a bourbon or some other alcohol).

What a friendly young man that seems to really care about their product and their customers. I once again had the animal farm and my gluten free biscuit this time was soft all over with no crunchy edges leading me to believe last years experience was a bit overcooked. Yummy vicious bacon as I remember. We will continue to return here as often as we make it to the Charleston area. And Kyle don't break too many hearts ;)

It's also reasonably priced unlike most places nowadays. We had the Vicious, Skully something, and the keto bowl. If there is anything I'd say negative it's that the keto bowl has a ton of spinach and looks different from the photo, but it's indeed tasty and perfect for those on a diet. The Vicious was easily my favorite. The fried chicken paired perfectly with the sauce, jalapeños, and sauce. I could eat it every day! The skully was tasty as well, love the topping/butter bar, and the coffee is great as well. Finally, I love the vibe and logo. PLEASE come down to SoFlo!

Service: our waitress was incredibly friendly and super nice. Atmosphere: they have an open layout and very vibe/ dance music. They do have a Photo Booth which is pretty unique. It looked like they did brunch/ breakfast and then evening had a pizza parlor. There was a bar off to the side when you first walk in Food: peach French toast and egg and cheese biscuit. The peach French toast is one of their specialties and it was super tasty. Had peach flavor and whipped cream and was a huge serving. The biscuit was a huge serving also and was definitely filling. Parking: you can park on the side of streets and there are some parking spaces on king street. Can definitely get busy on weekends and much easier to walk to.

Our waiter was super busy & at times hard to flag down. He did a nice job of refills for the kids, but when the food came out, we literally had zero napkins and zero utensils. That is basic stuff- I shouldn't have to flag down people for when getting seated. I ended up finding another waiter who was helping to bring out our food and asking him for napkins and cutlery. The beignets here are not what you expect- think super mini ones versus the classic ones you get from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans or other joints. We would have placed two orders of them except I knew the brunch plates would be big, and we wanted our kiddos to eat their meal before filling up on sweets. I got the Meeting plate- double portion of crab cakes on top of fried green tomatoes with grits and a huge buttermilk biscuit, where I didn't finish the biscuit and had one of our kids eat half of it. I was craving some fried green tomatoes but also wanted seafood so that worked out! My partner got the fried green tomatoes BLT and loved it. One of our kids got the chicken and waffles, another ate all of the fried chicken tenderloins, and our third really wanted buttermilk pancakes that were a hefty plate. No shortage of being hungry at this place! The food was good, but I would not say it was anything too different than any other brunch place-but for, the fried green tomatoes & other southern offerings like grits that you wouldn't get in other parts of the country. There are only two wash rooms, so there can be a wait especially when you have a long line of ladies waiting FYI. Prices are not too bad and standard for brunch so still an alternative when you are looking for fuel to fill up before doing your shopping on King's Street.
