Terrible customer service and unhelpful staff. I went in today ans tried to use a 25% off code for Black Friday, and it was for online orders only. Well, I got home and pulled up a different 25% off code that works in the store. The employee didn't bother to look up Black Friday codes currently being used ans sent out by their company. Now that is kick ass Customer Service!*** I'm a 911 Fire/Medical Dispatcher and I just started Working night shifts last night. I stopped by this location to get some zipfizz and a few bars that were keto friendly that I could snack on throughout the night. I had called previously to make sure they had what I wanted and the girl that answered the phone was so friendly. When I got to the store I was met by a friendly warm and welcoming smile. The girl Kelly who was working offered me help and good conversation I left satisfied. I came back tonight because one of the keto bars that I bought last night was delicious and I wanted a few more for tonight and I was once again welcomed with a friendly warm smile from Kelly who not only remembered me from last night and made a point to ask me how my first overnight shift was. These days it can be hard to get good quality customer service and that is something that I truly value in places that I shop, I had never been to the store before, or any of these before, But I can tell you right now that you have a customer for life because of how your employees treat your customers. While visiting Phoenix over the weekend I received my THIRD cancellation notice of Ester-C. I've reordered three times and all three times it timed it out or just flat cancelled it.This order was placed with a gold 20% off coupon which now is lost. I called the closest store and what do you know they had it! I picked it up the next day as they held it for me. The manager greeted me, took an interest in my plight as I explained my frustration at the whole situation. He gave me the 20% on my total purchase. So pleased and happy. I've been shopping at The Vitamin Shop for Years. I ALWAYS find what I'm looking for, and the employees are very knowledgeable. I have found David over at the {Metro} store is very personable, and product smart. He is textbook, life, and very business savvy. A person doesn't need to be shy coming in and just asking for help, you will find it! The Arrowhead Store manager {Nancy} is one of a kind as well. I have issues with the Vitamin Shoppe every time I order something online from the metro center store. The manager Glen does not train his employees whatsoever. They are confused every time there is a issue. They never work with me to fix my order. Just tell me to re order it and do it myself. Worst customer service EVER!! read more

Stop by the store to pick up an order for someone. Got their a little before they opened, which was 10am, at least that's what their hours said on the door. Waited, 10am comes around and nothing. No sign of anyone there. Few of us waited around still for a bit. 10:14 and still nothing. Waste of my time. This is the location I frequent the most often. It is conveniently located on the way to the 24 hour fitness and also on my way back home too! The staff there is very friendly and they have had some great sales recently. The store is always clean and there is no intimidation factor that of other health supplement stores that try to pressure you into buying stuff you don't need so they can get their commission. Their store brand products come in a wide variety of items and I always like to save on that! Great customer service here all the time. The parking gets tricky when you try to get in there around lunch time since there are some restaurants that get heavy traffic but there is 15 min. parking right up front of the store, good thinking! read more

I stopped by this location a few days ago to ask where the local 24 hour fitness was located. The staff was friendly and helpful. They pointed me in the right direction and I found the gym. I went back yesterday to patronize the location and buy some protein drinks. Again, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The store is a typical Vitamin Shoppe layout (large, open, high ceilings, large shelves along the walls with shorter stacks in the middle and a central checkout desk). The store is clean and well stocked. The location is very convenient. Overall, my experience has been very positive to this point. My only gripe now is that I bought a 12 pack of Cyto Gainer for $44 at this location and found the same product at 24 hour fitness for $24 today. Like all shops (including GNC and independent vitamin stores) watch your cost. Certain items are more or less expensive at each store. Thanks for reading.
