They're two of the most important and versatile staples for any home kitchen, and you don't even have to cook to use them... just dip foods straight into them or drizzle these beauties on top! I was a bit early for a meeting nearby, so I decided to stop in here and see what was going on since I love anything that has to do with food. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, asked if I'd been there before, and then was given a super quick and helpful tour and how-to handle sampling. I could stay in here for hours mixing oils and balsamic vinegars! There are little pieces of fresh made (in house) French bread with toothpick, and then tiny plastic cups for mixing your oil and vinegars. Since I couldn't eat the bread, I simply tiny cups and took baby sips. Oh man... everything I tasted was absolutely amazing. These are high quality products. Rows and rows of different flavor infused extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars, from sweet to spicy to citrusy to earthy. Some of my personal recommendations are the Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar (so tart and bright), the Blood Orange Olive Oil (fruity in the most subtle and smooth way), the Tuscan Herb Olive Oil (you'll taste garlic, sun dried tomatoes, basil, and more), the Wild Mushroom and Sage Olive Oil (seriously earthy and deep), the Cilantro and Onion Olive Oil (very strong and fresh), and the Black Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar (the taste is so clear, you'll swear you're eating actual figs). Whatever ingredients are infused into the product, you'll taste its authenticity. The Honey Ginger Vinegar was outstanding, as well as the Honey Serrano and Vanilla Balsamic Vinegars. Perhaps a bit too sweet for my liking, but incredible nonetheless. I had so much fun tasting product after product and being left to leisurely browse. When you find something you know you HAVE to have, ask an employee and they'll fill up your bottle right then and there. It's only $11 for a 200ml bottle, which is a good size (and makes the cutest gift, if you ask me). $16 for 375ml and $28 for 750ml. The prices seem more than fair to me. I also love that you can read about each oil and vinegar to see where the ingredients (fruits, olives, etc) were harvested (Spain, Italy, Portugal?) and see what it pairs well with. They also have plenty of recipe ideas and amazing kitchen/cooking trinkets and accessories for sale. On top of all this, there is a small kitchen inside Bella Vita, so they make freshly baked bread and a few other treats, like cookies! You'll also find a few gourmet cheeses. I really loved this shop and I'm excited to return. It's the only one there is, so come here or check out their website where you can order their wonderful products online.

Healthy! The third time, I grabbed TMB French Dip. FAVORITE ITEM thus far. (: All times, fries were had. They are crispy, well seasoned and pair to perfection with Heinz ketchup. Oh, and I can't forget the iced tea and lemonade! I made an Arnold Palmer with them... gamemaker for any lunchtime meal. :D Will I be going back? Hands down. I have more to try!!!

Second experience did not live up to my first experience. I came back with my husband. I tried the burger and he had the blt. The beef sandwich is better. I got the single patty. If you get the burger, get the double. The patty was thin. I think the Hawaiian roll made it sweet. If you like sweet burgers, you may enjoy it more than I did. I also bought the "world famous" Swiss pastry shop Black Forest cake. Evidently I've never had their Black Forest cake because it was horrible. Black forest cake is supposed to be chocolate with cherries. The cake was white with cool whip. But here's the big issue - it was dried out and hard. The guy behind the counter told me it was frozen. This cake was not hard from being frozen. I asked several questions about the type and quality. I'm surprised he didn't offer a refund. Not worth $6.50. Not sure I'll go back again.

Charcuterie boards can be so boring and stale if not thoughtfully designed, and obviously the freshness of the ingredients is of utmost importance. Too often with charcuterie boards you get that refrigerated taste/smell from something that's been sitting uncovered in a fridge for too long. But these boards were super-well-wrapped until time to eat. There is clearly a lot of care put into each board, and so many beautiful, quality ingredients. These particular grazing boards had a variety of 4 cheeses (like a pistachio crusted goat cheese, sharp cheddars, brie, and habanero pepper), 2 meats (salami arranged like a rose and capicola on the side), a handful of nuts (pistachios or almonds), salty cornichons or olives, plump fruit (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and grapes), wafer-y crackers, a piece of foil-wrapped chocolate, and a tiny glass jar of local honey or jam. And a sprinkling of vibrant, edible flower petals. It's really very pretty, bountiful, and colorful. See my photos! I'd say these specific boards are a great size for 2-4 people to share. The Art of Grazing's website has all the info on their different boards.. lots of sizes, crudités or cheeses or meats or combos, holiday themes and specials. Looks like they host classes and events, too. Flight nights, brunch boards with mimosas, that sort of thing. Love it. They're in a cute little spot in Southside Fort Worth.
