Several staff were on duty so we could have our treatment simultaneously. The room I was in was cozy, clean and somewhat feminine; with draping curtains around the comfortable, padded table. I was provided a bolster which Karen placed under my knees. She had noticed my grimace when I stood earlier and knew my back hurt. The facial lasted an hour. I can't tell much about it other than three points. 1- I was coaxed into a hypnotic state. My body relaxed and mind gently observed. 2- I felt nurtured and pampered. 3- my skin feels fabulous. The experience was comforting and oh so enjoyable. Kay was pleased by her care from Mary. She remarked at the pleasure of not being offered to purchase product. I have to agree. Critical feedback: I was asked 4x how I learned about the spa. When I made the appointment, when I checked in, on the intake form, and by my clinician.

So I desperately searched Yelp for "facial" and found Kawehi Skin by work so I called to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in after work on a Friday night. I arrived early since you typically have to fill out a questionnaire prior to facials. Sandy, the owner, was my esthetician. My appointment was for 4:30pm but her previous client wasn't done until 4:40pm and then we chatted a bit about my options until about 4:50pm since they had no menu and their website is a bit outdated. She explained to me that Kawehi Skin is a customized experience so she usually looks at her clients' skin and then discuss the recommendations and let the customer decide how to proceed. I communicated that I would prefer a menu so I know what I am paying for, but at the same time I can tell Sandy was very caring and was being genuine about her service. I felt very conflicted since I usually like things defined. But she reassures me that the business is transitioning to new menus and they will completely revamp their services soon. So we proceed with my facial and my skin was definitely dry. We did 2 cleanses, steam, enzymes to digest the dead skin cells, a calming mask in parallel with a shoulder massage, microdermabrasion, and then moisturizing drops at the end. This was about an hour for $95. Sandy mentions that the services here aren't timed. In theory it is sweet that they take all the time they need on the client... but in practice that means they can be running late to their next appointment. For the record, the value was really fair for the services and upgrades I decided on. Also there is a sign out front that says "Credit Card transactions are subject to a 2.75% fee." I don't mind paying a fee, but I wished someone would have mentioned it prior so I could have went and got cash. And also I did not like a percent. It's fair to me if the business charge the flat rate that the bank charges them -- but I like advanced notice. I asked Sandy if a debit card counts as a credit card. To her credit, Sandy did not charge me the transition charge since it was my first visit. I'm not taking away any points for this since my fee was waived, but I feel like it is important for the business and patrons to be aware. Sandy was very sweet and I enjoyed her service. They are super close to work and the prices are fair. However I can't give them a 5 star when my appointment start time was late and the menu and prices are so undefined. I plan to come back when they have their menus up and business model revamped. I would be more than happy to give them that 5 stars when they earn it.

I booked an appointment via text. You may call them as well. I went to the previous place before and realize the old location closed. I was first greeted by the owner and was in between package 5 or 6. She explained both of the package to me and in the end I picked package 5 since it focused more on the hair wash while package 6 is more focused on facial. I was taken into the room where I took off my top. The lady did ask if I wanted to take my bra off but I only took the strap down instead. If you are afraid to get wet, I would take both off so it is more comfortable. I was then wrapped in a towel and blanket while laying down. She started off with facial and then the hair wash. They scrubbed my face clean and put on a jelly mask. While wearing the mask, she started washing my hair. She scrubbed it twice, did my shoulder and neck. I also got a nice massage and waterfall water. Later, they put on a heating eye mask and steam your hair. I got massaged with some lotion and hot rock on both arms, shoulder, and back. It can be pretty hot and the massage can be strong so you can tell them. Lastly, your hair will be blow dry and brushed while you get a little foot massage. It was $70 total for package #5. Tax is included in the pricing already. Zelle is accepted. I will definitely recommend this place for a nice spa visit and would like come back to do another facial or package #6.

This facial also stimulates collagen production and tones your face. It was a perfect pre-birthday treat for myself. Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Before I left, I signed up for their busy bee membership so I can make sure to keep up with my skincare goals. Thank you, Lemon and Honey Day Spa, your staff was amazing!
