My husband gave me a gift certificate for a 45-minute massage for Christmas. It's been a rather…read morehectic spring so I finally got around to making an appointment with Jo. Beauty Balance by Jo It's located in Phoenix Suites on 17th Street. The location is very convenience since it is not far from the "Orange Crush" so all of the major highways are close. I had a membership at Burke Williams for well over a year and always enjoyed their massages. But the cost kept going up and I just didn't feel I wanted to continue to commit to that much money every month. I was pleasantly surprised when I laid down on Jo's massage table! It was much more comfortable than the one used at Butke Williams! The room ambiance was just as nice, with soft lighting, soft music and ocean sound. There is also a small diffuser misting water in the air. Jo goes a step beyond Burke Williams as she has Lindt chocolates offered in a dish! We had discussed the level of pressure I preferred and whether I had any areas of concern. She advised that I could undress to the level of my comfort. I thought this was very sensitive of her as some people are uncomfortable with being nude for a massage. Personally, I prefer to be nude but others may not and I liked that she gave that option. The massage that Joe gave me was every bit as good as the massages I received at Burke Williams. She used the right amount of pressure and I felt totally relaxed afterwards. I highly recommend Jo if you are looking for a good massage at a reasonable price. I really like that she didn't talk during the massage or try to sell me anything afterwards. She simply gives a great massage and a nice smile!

I've been seeing Patricia for a couple years now, and I can't say enough good things about the care…read moreand results I've experienced. I came to her originally with acne scarring and occasional breakouts, and over time, she has made such a noticeable improvement in both the texture and overall clarity of my skin. Her custom facials are always tailored to exactly what my skin needs at the moment--she really takes the time to assess and adjust her approach each visit. I've also had several chemical peels with her, all of which have given me amazing results without ever feeling too harsh or overwhelming. One thing I really appreciate is how she explains everything she's about to do--whether a product might feel cold or "spicy," she prepares you for it so there are never any surprises. She also checks in regularly during treatments to make sure you're comfortable and that everything feels okay, which makes the experience even more reassuring and personalized. What stands out most is how genuinely invested she is in the health of your skin. She uses high-quality products and never pushes anything that isn't right for you. She will even provide sample products so you can try at home before committing to a full-size purchase. You can tell she's passionate about what she does and truly cares about her clients' long-term results. Her space is incredibly calming--quiet, peaceful, and always filled with soothing music that instantly helps you relax. Every visit feels like a reset, both for my skin and my mind. I'm so grateful to have found Patricia and highly recommend her to anyone looking for personalized, results-driven skincare in a tranquil setting.
