Turned out we didn't need the second one as soon I left I called the guy back telling him we only needed one he had completely forgot the conversation we had. I understand they don't issue refunds but to charge me for an entire month for a unit I did use is poor business.

I wasn't sure what size unit I needed because we are just getting ready to sell our house. Charlotte gave me a varitey of sizes that I could look at based on my needs now and what I may need when the house sells. Justin took me out on the property and showed me each one. They made it so easy to lease. I highly reccomend them. They live on the property and everything is well taken care of. If you want awesome friendly people to work with and great prices then this is your place.

I first want to say that the woman who runs the place is absolutely fantastic. She is very professional and personable. I have used storage facilities many times in my life and I feel like a lot of them are borderline crooks, but that is not at all what I experienced here. Secondly, I really appreciated the price. I kept an RV here for 2 years and it was safe the entire time. They offer covered and uncovered parking alike, along with a large storage facility for random things. And they offer them all at a very good price. I highly recommend this establishment for your storage needs! Customer Service: A+ Safe Storage: A+ Price: A+

Amazing customer service from Barbara!…read more I've been renting a storage unit at The Attic Self Storage, and I just want to take a moment to recognize Barbara for always being so kind, patient, and helpful. Every time I've needed assistance, she has gone out of her way to help me and has always treated me with respect and understanding. Even during times when things weren't easy for me, Barbara was always sweet and willing to work with me. She never made me feel uncomfortable or judged, and that really meant a lot to me. I'm actually moving out of my unit now, but I definitely wanted to leave a review because Barbara is truly one of those people who makes a difference in a customer's experience. The company is lucky to have her! Thank you for everything, Barbara! You have been absolutely wonderful!

So I went to the office and rang the door bell no one answered so I rang the bell on the apartment that is attached to the office also no answer then I called and left a message, so then I went to the apartment located at the back of property and I knocked very lightly Assistant manager came to door I ask if she could tell me why I'm overlooked she was very rude when she told me I didn't pay my bill, I then told her that is wrong I paid Friday asked her if she could call the Manager she then told me I would have to take that up with Christina and that she wasn't fucking calling anybody for me, then her dog came running after me like it was going to bite me and I told the dog to get away from my then Sherry told me fuck off mother fucker and to get the fuck away from her door and that she wasn't helping me with shit, so I walked back to my space and got in my car entered my code and left the property sent another text message and an email to the property in Broadway Blvd, Garland Tx.

There's no mysterious fees during the move in and the lock is complimentary. Also access is 24 hours a day with no surprises like codes changing out of nowhere. Not trying to slam the others but it's nothing like "snatch & grab" places like Public Storage or Extra Space Storage with extremely high turnover rates for auctions. The owner, Jennifer Martin, said they were not returnable. BUT she was so kind as to keep them and said she'd work out something with the owners (she is actually the owner U-Haul said but they are inveterate liars there at Skillman Storage). Long story short: she said she got the approval for a refund and said she had processed it. Well, she had not. So she kept the merchandise and also the money. They are thieves. When I found out what happened, she first said U-Haul screwed up and she'd look into it. Now, she keeps saying she's going to refund the money and even said she sent a check. Nope, never got it. Avoid this place. You just never know if they're going to overcharge your credit card and you'll be out of the area to do anything about it. Their BBB ratings are bad, too. And she wouldn't respond to my complaint through them. Avoid.
