And now it made it that much better. I substituted the fries for cheese balls. For a little up charge and then put some cheese balls on the burger. I'm drooling right now as I'm talking about it. But all that for about $8 made it even better. And the quality was not missing. I came back that night and ordered the fish Sammie which was just as delicious. Again served with fries and the fixings. The fish Sammie was a long crispy fish filet fried to perfection. I added cheese on it too. That was about $7. I washed both down with a double of Tito's and club. Which was also nicely priced as well. Shout out to my bartender Jordan she was awesome!! Definitely a Gem in this beautiful city. The woman was served the wrong order-a burger that might have been mine- and after she touched it, I watched the server place that same burger back on the service table. Shortly after, a food runner picked it up and brought it to our table, which I immediately returned. Other than running food, no server ever checked on us or took responsibility for our table. The lack of service combined with the food-handling issue was extremely concerning and unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to recommend or return to this restaurant.

I got cole slaw, which is homemade and tastes fine but is a little goopy for me. The Rings of Kerry (onion rings) were huge. Crispy with that wonderful Guinness beer batter. They also pack a punch with the amount of oil in them - definitely need a drink with these (it's a slight grease overload). Good pub-type options, and I want to try a few of their other offerings.

However, when asking our server what Fruit Sour beers they had, I was informed that they don't have IPA or "the like"...which was totally confusing given the beer machine on the wall that was all IPA and craft beers. Burger was good but on the smaller side. Service was not good, though I suspect it was because they were severely understaffed. A bartender has no business serving tables with a retirement party going on and a non stop line at the bar. No one was helping her whatsoever and it had to of been overwhelming. Not to mention one of the employees kept walking by and wiping his nose with his hand/forearm so that was pretty gross. All in all, I hear locals really like this place but also that the service seems to be the consistent negative on it.
