The restaurant is in an old bank with a table inside the vault. Menu is diverse with items from steaks, fish, pasta. Good selection of items that are tasty. I had the fish ruby, it was awesome fried fish over grits with a crawfish sauce on top. They have a full bar, several TVs and a stage for karaoke. went Sunday afternoon following church and it was getting crowded. the three of us were seated and served quickly. food came out hot( always a plus) and was tasty. there is a full bar available and live music at certain parts of the week. nice to see this type of dining opportunity actin a small town. wouldn't recommend the salad. it appeared to be premade , which wouldn't have been a problem, except the lettuce was wet and water collected in the bottom of the bowl. read more

We came in yesterday around 3pm. We were excited to try this place as the pictures of the food looked great on the internet. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. (We were the only 2 people in there.)Our food came out cold some fries were not even cooked. The bun was so old it crumbled and fell apart when we picked up our sandwich. The waitress sat at the Cash register on her phone the whole time. We asked for a drink menu and she stated they didn't have one, but they had a full bar. So we decided to order a simple vodka cranberry with lime. Needless to say the drink was horrible. All we had was cranberry juice in our glass. We didn't finish the drink. We love to support local small business, but we will not be back to this place. And then as we were leaving some guy was dumping a large garbage can of liquid right on the square in front of our car. Also While going to the restroom There was a bus bucket full of dirty dishes just hanging out by the desserts. We were so disappointed and we wanted to love this place. read more

The food was no good. We will be giving the leftovers to the pigs which was practically the whole meal. Maybe if I just came off of naked and afraid that food might of been something. It was the most expensive dog food I ever bought. The gumbo was a "chicken stew, served COLD" Their poboy was served on a hoggie bun when the menu says French bread The place was also filthy. The Vault is basically the local watering hole/bar. It has a full bar with liquor and beer with various nights to include karaoke and other activities. Some days they'll be open for lunch and diner and their menue has a decent selection. Food quality unfortunately does lack in the few items I've tried. The chicken sandwich I ate was bland and flavorless. The country fried steak didn't taste right and had a chewy texture to it. On certain days wait time is upwards of 30 minutes due to staffing shortages. The place has potential but unfortunately currently it's not reaching it. read more

This place is awesome. Th food the atmosphere and the staff are all exceptional. Ive been to The Vault many times and have always had great experiences. For my mamas birthday she wanted to go because she'd heard the steak were good. I always order fried pickles and and a steak, this time I ordered the crab cakes and they were amazing. We enjoyed our visit here this past Sunday. It was busy but we were seated quickly. The waitress was efficient and kept our drink glasses full. We ordered everything from catfish to chicken and waffles. They were all good but I do have a couple suggestions. If you are doing chicken and waffles it would be nice to have syrup that's not in a plastic container that you have to peel the lid off. Also, the fries were cold on two of our dishes. Friendliness and courtesy rates a zero. They tell you your "to-go" order will be ready in 20 minutes and it was 45 minutes. Front entrance staff ignored me for 5 minutes. This place needs help if it's going to survive. read more
