The service sucks. What a bunch of incompetent, greedy pigs. They won't admit a mistake, even in the face of unassailable logic, receipts and incontrovertible evidence. 2 days ago, I went there to FAX an item to a company that still requires faxes. Although the price that they charge to send, the faxes is ridiculous, it's the only place in town that I could find that still has a FAX machine. I waited a while. The help that day was cordial but marginally helpful. Sending a fax isn't exactly rocket science, basically requiring a little more than dialing a phone so when they handed me the confirmation and the receipt after I paid them (silly ME) I took that to mean it was done correctly. They charged $13 to FAX 10 pages, 9 pages plus cover page. The confirmation said it was received but as everyone who knows anything about FAXes knows that "received" does not mean legible. As soon as I returned to my desk, the recipient called to inform me that the pages were illegible and the clarity was of insufficient quality. When I returned to the store two days later, with receipts in-hand and screenshots the recipient had sent me of the illegible FAXes, the younger, dark-haired bearded man at the cash register was about to issue me a refund, then the older, heavier dark-haired bearded male swooped in, claiming the FAX machine was "just checked". "Checked" by whom and for what purpose he was unable or unwilling to say and he refused to furnish any proof. He didn't even know or ask me what the problem was. How then could he be so certain it wasn't his store (or his employee's) fault? He tried to blame the multibillion dollar company I was sending the fax to. The 2nd individual (the one who was eavesdropping and swooped in to prevent the man at the cash register from issuing me the $13 refund) said they wouldn't issue a refund because in his superficial level of understanding , he believed "services were rendered." Confirmation means the transmission went thru not that it's sufficient quality or legible". I paid to have a fax sent, not to have a recipient receive 10 illegible pages of insufficient quality to be legally acceptable. UPS store didn't offer any other remedy (ie refaxing the documents) he refused to look at the screenshots of proof they were illegible and refused a refund. This store is poorly managed. The help has absolutely no authority to manage customer complaints. no matter how badly or how obviously they screw up, it's always "somebody else's fault". That's not how serious people do business. This UPS store must really be on the ropes to need my $13 that badly. Hang onto that $13, guys. Pissing off customers to keep your grubby fists hanging onto a couple of bucks... that'll really keep your doors open. I must've missed that chapter in business school. Another time I was sending a gift to a friend whose address I had been to many times. The man behind the counter, proceeded to argue in attempts to gaslight me that the address was "123 ___ circle", not "123 ___ boulevard". I stepped outside, called the intended recipient who confirmed what I already knew. I was right. The UPS stores computer was 100% wrong and the pedantic jerk who'd originally helped me was also wrong. "Boulevard" NOT "circle". BIG difference. I reentered the store and (lucky for me) by then a woman was behind the counter. I showed her the address on my phone, explained the unnecessary discrepancy I'd just had. She listened, clicked a few simple key strokes, overrode the erroneous address and printed out a correct mailing label. She was a competent, helpful employee with good listening and people skills, so of course, I never saw her there again. Again, in that case I paid for a service (having a specific item delivered to a specific person at a specific address) and the men in that store would rather argue w/ strangers at Christmastime & send it to a bogus address rather than just LISTEN to the customer, click "override" and admit he was wrong. Instead of conducting honest business and learning basic customer service, the bearded clones at this store would rather argue and cling to a few bucks like greedy trolls. Any time you go into a store 3x in a matter of months and ALL 3x customer service is abysmal-to-nonexistent it's a clear indication incompetence and failure are a feature, not a bug. It's not about money. It's about poor management, arbitrary decisions, lack of people skills and disrespect. If you still wish to trust these people with important documents and packages, good luck. Next time I'll use FedEx or USPS. If I ever need anything faxed, I'd BUY a fax machine and send it myself, hire a courier, even a carrier pigeon before I'd trust these incompetents. Look at their replies. 100% are attempts to lie, evade and deny responsibility. Poor management. Clearly they don't want to do better and believe customers should just accept that. I went into post a birthday gift, the location was close to my church and so it was an easy pic. Service was terrific. The customer service rep was attentive, answered all of my questions, and gave suggestions. The box seem a little bit more expensive to post than if I went to the USPS, but it was Sunday and I didn't have any other options. read more

I use this store a lot. For business copying, and for shipping. I find Pete and his staff to be very helpful, patient and courteous. Always. But once I DID have a problem: my golf clubs were sent out to Arizona for repair, and were damaged during shipment. Although bent very slightly, a couple of shafts needed to be replaced, and I was afraid the UPS claims guy wouldn't reimburse me. But Pete made me whole on the damage before we even heard back on the claim. Remarkable. Great customer care. I don't understand the negative reviews. Grouchy old guy charges for tape and is completely intolerant of kids in the store. Yelled at my kids when they accidentally walked into a sign leaning against the wall. Then gave me a big hassle for not taping up an Amazon return. I took my box back and left. read more

Letter written to the company. Was very unsatisfied with the service mainly because there wasn't any!! To whom it may concern, I think it is very unprofessional to display on your website one time an not honor it. I woke up early this morning to get to the store at 7:30, which was displayed on the website, before an 8:00 appointment. Once I arrived the door displayed an opening time of 8:30a which I figured could have been a human error. It really inconvenienced me to drive all the way to your store early this morning. I postponed meetings and work to drop off these packages this morning to be disappointed by the Wyckoff UPS store. Honestly i hate ups stores i usually feel so out of place walking in bc idk how to ship and pack up anything, But I called before hand and the girl that answered the phone was so super helpful I had a really big item to ship out and she made it so simple for me, also when I went in she was the one that helped me do everything and pack it up my package arrived within two days to the Destiination my buyer was happy and they were just the nicest people in this location extremely helpful and I will definitely be back if I need help again! read more

I am the owner of this store since 2015 and have had in the past 2 years 11- 5star reviews removed because their "algorithm". I would give it 0 stars if I could!! Worst ups store ever!!! People that work here are EXTREMELY RUDE! I walked in with a prepaid package and was not even greeted. They spoke very rudely and couldn't give me a receipt for proof that I left me package because THEY JUST DON'T DO THAT! I think they are just to LAZY and CHEAP to print one and waste their labels! I took my package back and WILL NEVER go there again!! I went to this location to drop off DirecTV equipment per the contract AT&T has with UPS. After waiting on line, I was told that it takes too long and the gentleman helping me would "get to it later". I told him I'd need a receipt for the equipment and he asked for a phone number he could call after he was finished processing it. I explained that the point of the receipt was to prove that I left the equipment with them in good condition and I needed one before I left. He said it would take too long and he wasn't doing it now. I said I'd wait.....even though I had already waited. When the store emptied, I returned to the counter and it took him about 60 seconds to scan my items and print my receipts (not so long). Half way home I realized that he never lifted the large receiver so I pulled over to read the receipt. There was only one piece of equipment on it. I called the store to inform him and he said "Yes, there's only one in the receipt, but don't worry....I scanned everything." I told him I wanted everything on the receipt (there were numbered lines for 5 pcs of equipment) and that I was coming back. When I arrived, the item that had been omitted was sitting and waiting. He 'returned' when I came inside. What should have been a 10 minute round trip errand was over 30 and quite irritating. I shouldn't feel the need to explain the importance of specific numbers to a UPS employee. "Yes, I'd like to know when package B will arrive. I shipped it with package A. The worst...Went today to drop off a package, and per the UPS instructions, I was expecting to get a UPS "pouch" for my address label. They tell me, "We don't have pouches, but for $2 we'll tape it to the box." Unheard of. I followed the UPS instructions I received via email, which said I could either tape the label to the box or get a pouch. Called UPS & they proceed to tell me that UPS stores are independently owned & they have nothing to do with what supplies these places carry or how much they charge. I then called the vendor to whom I was returning the package, and they said, "Are you kidding? We've never heard of any UPS store doing anything like that." The vendor is crediting me the $2, but that's not really the point. These ppl should be ashamed of themselves. read more

If you have a domestic package they are fine, but DO NOT USE THEM INTERNATIONALLY. I recently sent a laptop to China and they were not familiar with the regulations that electronics need a 3C Certification. The package was refused at customs. So I told them get the package back, I grant you power of attorney in this matter. I was on vacation during this time and they sent me an email telling me to compose a "return letter" for Chinese customs. I tell them please do this for me because I am out of the country. They refused to write this simple letter. I returned and had to write this simple letter myself. They sent it to China Customs. Well it took 4 weeks to return AND I had to pay, not only the return fee but an "intercept fee." Cost me 210.00 to ship and would have cost me 285.00 to get returned. Well I paid another 210.00 to get the package back. The moral of this protracted and sad story was I lost 420.00 on something THEY should have known. They were incompetent, lazy, and just plain RUDE. I will NEVER use these people again. IF you have to ship internationally I suggest Fedex or DHL. read more

The on-line site said they were open until 6pm on Saturday. Get there at exactly 4:03 and they just locked the door and said they close at 4. I'm holding 3 packages and they wouldn't open the door and take my business. Clearly they must have too many customers and don't really need the business. What's with the rudeness? The woman working there was quite rude with my mother, an obvious senior citizen with snow white hair and who is very polite and mild mannered, who was dropping off a couple of boxes for UPS returns today, and apparently offended the employee by asking for receipts for the boxes she was dropping off. The employee even went so far as to tell other customers (who were going to help her move the boxes to a different spot along the counter where the employee demanded they be moved) that my mother was fine and could do it herself. So my mother did move them herself, but still, what the heck? She's never been in there before and this employee doesn't know her. The last time I was in there a few days ago I noticed the sign saying that they will charge you for using any of their tape. Fortunately this attitude is not typical of most UPS stores so we will take our business to nicer people elsewhere. read more
