Read your receipt carefully. I asked for a crucial delivery to be sent overnight. I was assured by the clerk that it would arrive by the end of the next day - guarenteed delivery. I repeated this to my wife when I left the store and entered my car. When it didn't arrive as promised, I checked my receipt and it had been sent 2nd day air. I called the store and they said the clerk denied saying this me, said I wanted a less expensive shipping method and they supported her. I didn't want a refund. I would have paid any price to get it there on time. I expected honesty. Save yourself potential disappointment if a shipment is critical and check your receipt. i had a HUGE problem with a lost package. UPS said it was this store's problem. Turns out - no - the store did everything right and it was lost on UPS's end. (UPS did not admit this until AFTER sending me to complain to the store). The staff and management for this store bent over backwards trying to make things right EVEN WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. read more

UPS charged me $102 to overnight medicine to my wife that she forgot while traveling. That would have been pricey but worth it... but UPS failed to deliver the package FOR THREE DAYS. And these folks? First, they incorrectly told me the package would only be a day late. I had to discover myself that the package hadn't left the east coast. Then they didn't offer me any options to get her the medicine they needed - just lamely apologized "for the inconvenience". The folks here are helpless, surly and couldn't care less about their customers. Don't use UPS and don't use this store. read more

I truly miss the little Asian guy, Harold. I'm over six feet tall and about 250 pounds, so most guys are 'little' to me. Any who, Harold was always nice to this here "Old-fart", and very patient with me. The NEW guy? Well, let's just say_ he ain't no Harold! The three times I have brought something to send out, he was 'okay' with me. But I ALWAYS get the feeling he really does not like what he does. read more

I'm new to Amazon returns, I had multiple and didn't know what to do, I went to the ups in Williamstown and a lovely young women named Laura helped me for at least 15 minutes and was very polite and didnt give up on the email that wouldn't go through. The people who work here are helpful and friendly in my experience, but the pricing structure is inconsistent. If you stand outside the store and email them a document to print on standard 8.5 x 11 paper in black and white, it's $1. This is their "online price". But if you walk in the door and email them the same document, it's $2. This is their "in-store price". Either price seems high for standard paper. read more

i love this store and the pittsifeld one, people need to understand that they ONLY work in the store, they dont do everything. they only work in the store and processs packages, their charge what they are told to charge and maybe a new employee messes up that trainging, its understandable. they do not have to pack/tape your boxes closes. the post office wont do that for you. marsha is a very good manager and does her best! they do not control how/when your package gets somewhere! read more

Words can't describe how sour and officious the person now in charge is. Imperious. I ask if UPS has a senior discount. He gruffly said no. I said that in Chicago they did. I was treated rudely simply because I'd accidentally printed out two of the same mailing codes for returns. I got that sorted out and mailed the two packages. After a couple of weeks, I checked Amazon to see if my items were successfully returned. They weren't, so I called the store and was told that packages may sit around "for a few days" as they wait for a box to fill up before sending. Then I was told that as long as I have the ticket with the tracking information, I'll get the refund from Amazon. Great, but I'm still concerned that my packages were never even shipped. I sure hope no one is stealing those items, knowing that Amazon will still give me a refund. read more

Will Never Go Back! I am a middle aged woman who happens to be African American. Yesterday, I struggled to get through both doors to the UPS store with 4 very heavy boxes of books. (Both sets of doors must be pulled open). The male owner and a male employee stood and watched me attempt on several occasions to open the 2nd set of doors while dropping boxes and having a very difficult time. When I finally made it to the counter and asked why they had ignored me, the owner shrugged. I was so surprised and hurt by such treatment and when I pointed out that I am a loyal customer of many years (long before he took over the business) the owner said "my mind was somewhere else and I wasn't paying attention to you." A blatant lie!! I will never do business with the Williamstown UPS Store again because all customers, no matter their race, should be treated with common decency. read more

Formerly, when this was known as Mailboxes, Etc., and then later when it changed to be part of The UPS Store, the service here has always been fantastic. The owner Harold can pack and ship anything! Although when I ship, I usually drop my own packages off with prepaid labels, I do on occasion use this UPS Store to ship items that are just too big and bulky to package myself. Over the years, I've shipped out of there a large paper shredder under warranty, and a 150lb transmission from a old Saab 900. I usually always buy my packing supplies from here too, even though they are a little more expensive than other places. read more

I am over the moon pleased with the service I received at this UPS store! I went in with a very heavy, ok packed box and Rich took one look at it and said he wasn't completely satisfied and offered to add some packing he had on hand. I said sure. I just received the box and everything was perfect, even the various glass items inside. Rich went the extra mile and gained a very happy customer! I would not hesitate to have them ship whatever I needed and feel confident it would arrive on time and in good order. read more
