I've done business with many many UPS stores for packing and shipping, but this place is the worst. I've never seen such poor packing for fragile items and I have had hundreds of fragile items shipped around the world. One single piece of bubble wrap placed in a box with a handful of packing peanuts resulted in an expensive pile of garbage. Can't recommend to anyone wanting their items to arrive in one piece. read more

Do not go to this location. They changed ownership a couple of years ago, and it's not the same. The staff is unfriendly, and they nickel-and-dime you for everything. The lines are always long, and they even charge a dollar just to tape up your box. I repeat--do not go to this location. read more

I have been a regular customer at the UPS store in Delaney Valley shopping center. I stopped by there today to send a package or two along with two returns unbelievably I had to pay five dollars to have one sheet of paper printed out because I don't have a printer at home. The gentleman was using my phone a lot, which made me very nervoua. The second package that I was trying to get him to print out a form for, he said I had to take to USPS and I understand because I didn't realize it was a PO Box and you don't ship to PO Box. I just didn't get the kind of feeling that I usually get when I walk into the store. Not a very friendly experience. was charged $10 for a package shipped there from William and Sonoma. They had a blue sticky note &10. Very arbitrary and all they said was it's an access point. The store couldn't understand it either. To make matters worse and confusing English wasn't his first language was very condescending and rude, showed me a pkg. that said No charge! I called this place from out of town to see if they could help ship a family antique heirloom. Bob was wonderful. They are experienced in packaging and shipping antiques. Bob was even able to arrange a pick up for me from a local residence near the UPS store. They showed up when promised, did a great job packaging it, and the item arrived in perfect condition just a few days later. Pricing was very reasonable. A man started to help me at the counter and as I was pulled up my return code for him to scan, he abruptly walked away and went around the corner. 2 other young men ignored me as well. One was eating wings. A woman was also working behind the counter. She ignored me as well. The first gentleman kept looking around the corner like he was waiting for me to leave. DO NOT GO HERE. The new manager is EXTREMELY RUDE, unpleasant, and unhelpful. I paid $10 to have a UPS package that needed a signature sent to the UPS store. UPS Itself put a lable on the package that read in large letters "TO THE CLERK, THIS PACKAGE IS FOR PICK-UP." That lable had my name alone on it. The other lable had my name and my husband's. But the manager refused to read both lables and insisted my package wasn't there and (he insisted even after I showed him my UPS confirmation) that I probably hadn't even sent it to that store. Another employee had to eventually show him my package. What a jerk. This review is for the UPS STORE on Delaney Valley Road. I went in to mail a very small item and went to the shelf to pick up a padded envelope. A man in the front(assuming it was the owner by the way he was barking at his employees), bellowed at me and said "come here!" He proceeded to yank the item(a cotton baby hat) out of my hand and told me to put it in a box instead. I said,"whatever is cheaper". He took my item and gave it to the employee to tape up and wait for the counter girl to finish the transaction. I asked her if the envelope was cheaper and she ignored my question. The whole transaction was $17 and had I been more assertive and stood up for myself, it would have cost me less than $8 for the envelope and the mail cost. I felt a little bullied!This is the second poor experience I have had there. I will NEVER give them my business again, even though their location is most convenient. read more

If an employee is not fully aware of Amazons return policy then they should ask management or just listen for a second instead being down right RUDE and asking why would I bring my package back like such? All vendors from Amazon DO NOT SHIP IN AMAZON PACKAGING. Some vendors (mostly clothing) will send you a bag and tell you return in in the same bag and just add an Amazon shipping label OR bring item back -and show QR Code and they UPS will gladly bag it up and do the rest. Well, today an employee was not aware and when the manager/ owner stepped in to ask what was the issue. I explained (while the other employee is mouthing off back) the manager understood and said yes he heard of the policy but told me I was over reacting when I asked for my package back because his employee had made me feel uncomfortable to even ship it as is in the first place. Normally I have 2 store I will ship and return, but today, I went here because it was in the area. Needed to do a bunch of shredding, as I had more than my home shredder could handle. After weighing, I need to deposit my paper in the secure bins. I had 3 large grocery bags full and the bins have narrow slots that only let you deposit a handful of sheets at a time. Even though they were busy, without asking, an employee help me get the paper into the bins. I was grateful and touched by the extra effort. I use this location often for shipping, and they are always polite and helpful. Plus they have WTMD on the radio, so I appreciate that support a local business too. read more

Every time I get a package held up at this location, I am told that my package was not yet delivered when I come to pick it up, despite the tracking number stating it's ready for pickup. After showing them that the information they are providing me is completely inaccurate, they go to recheck and, surprisingly, they find the package. This has happened multiple times, and now I just want to avoid this location at all costs. The lady employee is either careless or a liar. read more

I have a small business and I try to ship packages via UPS. However, this location is NEVER opened for business according to its scheduled. Today, when I arrived at 9am when it is suppoed to opened, the sign indicates the busuness hours are flexible. What kind of business is this. schedule changes. The clerk ripped us off and charged us 2.50 (1.25 per regular US stamp) to send a letter. When I questioned him stating the stamps were 60cents each, he made a snide remark that they haven't been that price since "the 80's." I then asked if they charge a fee to send a regular letter via US mail and he replied that "is illegal." Other clerks were standing observing and did not intervene or correct him. I can't believe I haven't left a review for this location yet. The owner is awful. His customer service is awful and certainly leaves more to desire. I avoid this location when possible, but sometimes it's just the most convenient option, specifically when I'm in the Towson area at the mall or at the nearby Fresh Market. A few years ago, I took a few Amazon returns there, the owner rang everything up, and he made the decision to not give me a receipt. I literally cannot make this up. He asked me if I wanted a receipt and then before I could answer he said "You don't need one, save the trees right?!" Next thing I know, he's calling on the next customer and essentially shooing me away. I do believe we should be mindful of the environment when possible, however the receipt was my only proof of my returns, therefore in that scenario it was absolutely necessary. On another occasion, I had an extra box and asked if he could dispose of it for me. You would have thought that I requested that he give me a kidney. He huffed and puffed and eventually took the box which he proceeded to place on a pile of similar boxes behind the counter. My most recent encounter was this morning when I once again had a few Amazon returns. I have Amazon Prime and I selected the option to have my labels printed from a return label code in my phone. There was zero cost associated with this option. Imagine my surprise when he scans everything and tells me that it will cost two dollars. The cost wasn't a big deal, but it was more so the principle. I questioned the cost and he completely ignored my question. I have a feeling that he charged for the printing of the labels and made up the cost off of his head-I wouldn't know because I didn't receive any sort of receipt. He was brash and threw around my packages. I had a ask for a receipt for my returns before he rushed me off and he all but threw it at me before calling on the next customer. All of this to say, that not much has changed and I recommend that you steer clear of this location when possible. read more
