I had a very disappointing experience today. I just paid almost $100 to ship a package, and the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. The employee helping us told us we needed to tape the box ourselves, which was completely fine. However, when my fiancé went to use the tape that was sitting on the counter, another employee began yelling at him saying he could not use it because it was "complementary." The employee who had been helping us the entire time never mentioned that we weren't allowed to use the tape, so the situation was very confusing and embarrassing. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the other employee raised her voice and told him he had to buy an entire roll of tape just to use two small pieces. After spending $100 to ship a package, being treated that way over two pieces of tape felt extremely unnecessary and unprofessional. A simple, polite explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression. read more

Super nice, #family-run #UPS Store in #Taylor!! Finally... no more stressful transits to the #Hutto #UPSStore through that #BigRig-packed #construction zone, #SH79! Yaaayyy!!! Easy to locate in the #HEB complex, top of the CGP parking access road, between #AceDental & #TwinLiquors, so lots of parking! Mailbox pricing should be comparable to USPS prices, and there will be a coded entey for 24 hr printing services via a future kiosk. * I was told the family had to agree to be open Sundays, due to a new #UPS #corporate policy, however. they'd rather have Sundays off to enjoy hanging out. read more

Just go to Hutto, they accepted my box and gave me a receipt THEN told me it needed more tape to accept my box so when they taped it they charged $5 for the tape which they called re-packaging when I had already packaged it myself and was not done in my presence (seems like a scam), then told me I didn't have to be rude after I started to say I already had a receipt so they had to accept it. They then threatened to cancel my package completely so I paid the $5 and then they said it was $5.41, so I took out my cash and the guy asked will it be cash or card I threw another dollar on the counter and proceeded to get the heck out of there. Bad customer service, bad attitudes, and hopefully they will actually SEND my package and not "lose" it. Will notify Amazon just in case, and never go back to this particular UPS store again. read more

JUST GO TO THE UPS STORE IN HUTTO! Do NOT bother here. The two guys that work here are rude. Not sure what their deal is, but it needs to change or they need to get out of the customer service industry and go find a job where they don't have to interact with people, as that seems to be what they want. I went to have something notarized a while back, and I walked in and stood there for a while with no acknowledgement from anyone. The one guy was standing there behind the counter and KNEW I was standing there, and continued to ignore me. While I stood there waiting, numerous others had come in behind me and they had acknowledged them with no issue. Not sure if it was some sort of discriminatory thing or what, but I sure won't be coming to this location again. Fast forward to more recently, my mother went to drop off a package to send back to Amazon, and she had the exact same experience I did. They had no interest in helping her, same as they did me. read more
