Today, I learned that this UPS now also takes your Spectrum Cable box as is, wraps and packages it, and ships it out for you--saved me a couple of hours of waiting at a Spectrum store. I have gone to this UPS to have a document notarized, copied, and faxed, and then mailed the copies out through USPS Priority mail, certified, with return receipts that same visit. They make Amazon returns especially fast, whether you're returning a boxed item, or an item UPS will box and ship for you. And because they handle both USPS and UPS packages, they provide myriad options on delivery costs, arrival dates and delivery methods, providing you the best value--not only in monetary costs, but in time saved. This store is open later than most UPS stores which is very much appreciated on weekdays and weekends. Employee Brit provides excellent customer service. Friendly and professional staff. Owner Rian is personable, informative, and helpful. For printing labels and they charge about 2 to 3 dollars whereas another UPS store on Ulmerton Road charges over seven dollars. This is a great UPS location. Good and friendly customer service. There were two people there a young woman and the guy with blonde hair. Sorry, I cannot remember their names. They were very helpful and friendly. I was using a corporate account number and I couldn't do it at the franchise but they gave me the information for the closest UPS hub. Get a new manager that doesn't tell a dissatisfied customer "There's the door". "Contact corporate if you have a complaint" and "here's the owner's card, call him if you want to". The real test of customer service is, not when things go smoothly, but when there are problems. This UPS location is terrible unless it's by the book routine service. I did file a formal complaint on this particular location and the manager's behavior towards me. As for the problem I was having - that will be taken up with corporate because apparently it's a corporate issue.... To Alan B. I would agree with that policy if it were necessary. However, you weren't there to see and hear what happened. So you have apparently been deceived by your manager. There were no other customers in the store at the time and there was another employee in the back room. Where are your objective witnesses? I can see the culture that operates in your store based on your reply that automatically accuses a dissatisfied customer rather than trying to apologize and make it right or find some answers. And in my research and conversations with 'corporate' I filed a formal complaint on your store. In addition, I did discover many flaws in the UPS system and a grave lack of capabilities to resolve customer issues on trying to get a package delivered and properly updated on status. Technical support has been made aware of their software issues (maybe you should have complained to them yourselves since your manager knew there was a "flaw in the system" - manager's words). And just an interesting side note - Fed Ex easily delivered a package to my doorstep that same day when expected and when I asked them why they could do it but UPS apparently couldn't, their response was "Because UPS sucks". I tend to agree and will be using only Fed Ex from now on so that I won't have to be spending my gas and time driving all over town trying to find my package, basically what UPS was paid to do for me. I had to return a $90 item that CAME via free shipping. It was going to cost me $50 to ship it back! Diane advised me to call the company. I then got a shipping label in my email. I had no printer. Diane attempted to print it but I couldn't seem to send it. Christian (I think that was his name!) to the rescue! He put my phone on their WiFi and finished the job. I went into take care of printing, notarizing and overnighting a time sensitive letter to the DMV. The associate who originally assisted me missed a step and I was on a business call while in the store. Shortly after leaving I realized, I wasn't sure if he notarized the letter as I requested. When I called back he took a defensive turn to state that I didn't remind him because I was in the phone and I pointed out I was specific in the initial instructions. The package was on its way in the truck and he would reach out to have it returned to the store. When I called back he was professional and focused on the solution which I appreciate. The store owner was available when I returned to the store. He was aware of the situation and took care of verifying my ID as well as getting the document notarized. I completely appreciate the way this was all handled because it never became about who's fault it was! It was completely about taking care of my needs and sending out the package promptly. This is my "go to" store for all of my shipping/mailing needs. I have visited this store at least 20 times and every, single, time they are professional, friendly, and want to provide the best possible customer service, because I believe they value repeat customer business. Just today, I went in for Christmas stamps, and was just a little disappointed in their remaining selection. An employee suggested that I come back in an hour, as he would get some more. Sure enough, I came back, and he had provided a whole selection of all of the available Christmas stamp designs. Absolutely fantastic customer service, and I value this, as all of their employees really pride themselves in doing their best. Thanks UPS store! I went in to send two next day packages and have some photo's blown up and placed on a heavier paper. i used their notary service as well. Delaney was so helpful and understanding. I intend to use this UPS again for all my business and personal needs. There is convenient parking as well. Plus in the same mall Publix and Panera and Applebees.
