There was a woman waiting on me at the Amazon checkout named Nicole, she stepped aside to help another customer at checkout because I was bringing up my Amazon returns. She waited on five other people at the cash register instead of coming back to me. Then she says time to go home and left. The young man who ended up assisting me was frustrated and dropping things. He did my return and then when I asked questions about receipt I got a lot of attitude about Amazon. TSA PRE CHECK was a breeze. We made an appointment online brought my passport and had to drive all the way from sarasota since the location here does not have tsa pre check anymore. We arrived 10 mins before our appointment no one was in line. We had an appointment at 9am and were seen at 9:01am. I wish they would have greeted us when we walking in and maybe communicated even though tsa says to be 10 minutes early they aren't open until 9 (no big deal) just communicated so we don't stand around looking lost. Over all the girl who helped us on December 1 2023 did her job and a fast one at that. Received my approved tsa already today one day later and was able to add it to my flight. read more

Went if for TSA pre check as they advertise they take walk ins. I waited 30 minutes before being acknowledged and once I was acknowledged by DESTINY * was met with attitude that appointments are first and it would be atleast a four hour wait if she could see me at all. I was the ONLY walk in there. Mind you the process of pre check took less than 5 minutes to do. I asked why do you advertise walk ins if you truly don't take them? Her response was you should of made an appointment, but that doesn't answer my question.... It's not what you say but how you say it. She 100% could of sped up her work and got me in. She opted to chit chat, move slow, and take her time to avoid doing additional work. So glad this place is here in Largo Mall, I use them every Nov to print my Christmas letters on special stationery. We do not often ho to this store but needed a router and they were close by. We found one and use a Visa gift card from a business whose name I won't mention. We were unable to use the router because it was incapable with the equipment we had. When we tried to return it, they would not give back the money because we no longer had the gift card. Horrible experience here. I never leave reviews, but this was just so bad. Was put on hold multiple times and than the print team Never answered the phone. When I came into store they said they couldn't answer because they were swamped. Not true no one was in the store. Than the employee who helped me print posters was very unhelpful and short. thinking back a bit. I'm 48, lived in NJ and Florida for many years. Owned and flipped homes since my early twenties. This copy center is The worst I have experienced in the entire country. Its poorly ran, slow. I quietly entered to download and make copies. Machines did not work And staff were clueless. I complain. An older manager type, late 50s, Caucasian, rugged skin, blonde , glasses proceeds to harrass me and ask me to leave.....awful....this was a bit ago, maybe she was terminated. Her customer service was awful. She commented on my voice tone .... I guess my NJ accent. I prefer small copy stores that care to help. This was A disaster. read more

This location is super small, and the service is not great! I went in to grab some dry erase markers and the check out line too forever. Once they finally got another lane open the man was very polite and quick .. i think he may have been a manager. The poor girl working the original line though was still waiting on someone to come help her or get her a price or something when i left.... I was shopping for an item called a "woven shelf tote", specifically in (2) different sizes and in a vanilla/beige color. Although this type of basket is popular on many websites and at many stores, your Largo Staples had just the right color and size I wanted....except not ENOUGH of them! I was discouraged to learn from the staff that this item was not available to order on-line, but only available in-store. Amanda McNeil, the store manager came to my rescue! She researched the other stores that contained the item and found that one about 30 minutes north of her store had them in stock. I exclaimed that I live about 40 minutes "south" of her store already, so going there to obtain the items would be a hardship. Amanda stated that she lived not far from the store, and if I wanted, she would be happy to pick them up and bring them back to her store for my purchase. Of course I was delighted, and a few days later, she called to say the baskets were now in-stock in Largo! Needless to say, I rushed over and completed my purchase! Although this may not seem important to some, these baskets were essential for me to turn a business chest into a bedroom dresser for my nephew who is moving in to live with me this month! All in all, I spent $193.84 on these baskets and a few other items which I could have ended up buying from another retailer. Only due to Amanda's self-less offer, did Staples get the business, and now, my "loyalty" as a local customer! Kudos to Amanda and her team for their excellent customer service! I really don't like office stores. I had to get some things for school for myself and my kids. Staples was the closest to me so I went. I was really surprised, Ken and Kyle both helped me out and were awesome! Not over the top or forced just genuinely nice, helpful people. The service in this store is terrible I would have rated them a zero if it where an option. My last visit to this store yielded an almost identical negative result. I was there today trying to copy a one page two side legal form that I needed for a meeting I was on my way to. The copier was all to happy to take my money but did not produce a usable copy when I asked Criss who was working in the copy department for help he told me it would be at least a half hour wait for one correct copy. I ask for a refund and he said where is your receipt my bad I didn't get one not realizing it would be such a big deal to get one copy. I will not make the mistake of ever setting foot in any Staples store ever again . Way to go Criss I own a 12 location business and spend about 20K a year on office supplies. PS. I went in here today to get some computer paper. I found what I was looking for (cheap) at the listed price of $3.99 then got in line at the checkout. There were 5 people ahead of me. We all waited 5 minutes while the clerk explained the importance of an extended warranty for the first persons store brand $39 labeling device. He then proceeded to try to up-sell everyone in the line with descriptions of the various promotions Staples has to offer. When I finally got to pay for my paper, I learned that the price was actually $6.99 but I could get $3 back by applying for a rebate. After 15 minutes online attempting to follow their rebate procedure I gave up. Do these folks have any respect for their customers at all. Hope I have better luck at Office Depot. read more

Went here in quest of a Pixma760 inker for my friend..not that far away and located in the giant Largo Mall. The LP was smoking outside with an employee..nice dude, shouldn't you be inside watching for theft? Oh wait! As soon as I came in, he was right next to me for seven minutes and then he went over and hung out at the return counter. Realll undercover there, partner. My compliments to the woman who had the 40's hair style going on..I wanted to put on some Benny Goodman and swing dance with her! Found what I thought was the right inker, got signed up for their discount card, was asked if I wanted to donate (through my credit card purchase) to the Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts and asked if I wanted to buy some pens at the counter. Of course, it was all from this woman who I just described but I politely refused. A strange place as I saw the elder in front of me using an office chair to wheel himself up to the register..which he then left behind. You guys don't have a smart cart or a wheelchair for the elderly? And the place was pretty empty, now that it's after 'back to school' ... When I came in with my broken printer, I was worried I would have to buy a new one and pay the same price. Ken was understanding, replaced my printer, swapped it out within 2 minutes, sent me out the door with a brand new one with no worries!! What a convenience! My impression Ken is all around representation of a positive helping figure around Staples in Largo Mall!! The vibe I read is that he truly contributes and helps people to the best of his ability. Okay, silly me, thinking I'd give them another chance, plus I needed a calendar printed in a hurry. Went in on Friday, Dec. 8th to pick it up. 2 people ahead of me, one poor guy, who was obviously new and had no idea what he was doing, waiting on the counter. Another employee on the phone. Two more employees went behind the counter while the line grew bigger but none of them waited on customers. The guy working the counter was trying to figure out how to ship packages for a customer but was quite confused. I finally just spoke up and asked if anyone behind the counter could just give me my order that is already printed and paid for!! They didn't want to skip the woman in front of me but she was waiting to get prints made on the spot. Took them a little while to figure out where my calendar was. The problem is, especially this time of year with the demand for increased shipping, is offering to many service at that counter and having one employee try to cover it all. read more

avoid at all possible cost... i called the store and was on hold for almost 15 minutes to ask one question, finally some one answers the phone and i ask if they sell rolls of fragile stickers. i ship a lot of items and need to put fragile due to the way usps handles our packages once they take them from us and just a bit of advice always mark your packages fragile if not they get tossed around and thrown. back to staples it took them another 8-9 minutes to find out if they sold rolls of fragile stickers i could hear them asking employee after employee finally they tell me we have them. i asked to double check to make sure you have them in stock b4 i drive there for nothing. i was told yes we have them plenty of them was the actual response, i drive to the store in about 15 minutes and what do you know i get sorry sir we are out of them at this moment, r you fu@@@@ing kidding me avoid this store at all cost do your self a favor. i am from the boston area and that is where their headquarters is located, if they knew how bad that store in largo is ran i think they would fire the whole crew from the management on down. thanks for wasting almost a whole hour of my day over something you said you had in stock and the long hold time on the phone. i would give you a zero rating if possible read more
