My Mom thought she needed a new iPhone as her screen appeared to have scratches and the corner looked cracked. Matthew and his team did a fantastic job getting my four month old Samsung Note Ulta 5G device fixed. A mandatory Samsung update failed in execution and caused an malfunction in the operating system. The device began to consistently overheat as well as to drain the battery within a few hours. The provider's solution was to send a factory refurbished device which was not an option for me. After a call to Samsung, there was a trouble ticket and Ubreak IFix was recommended for solution. The staff at Unbreak IFix was friendly from the moment I walked in. Due to the type of malfunctionn, the device was kept for 24 hours for the fix. Matthew kept me updated via text and phone calls. Kudos to this company. There is free parking too. read more

These people quoted me one price when I called them, and then when it came time to pay for the exact service quoted they charged me more and forced me to sign up for some $30 a month service plan to get a cheaper price which was still more than the quote over the phone. I payed over $300 to have the screen replaced and specifically asked if it would still have the same water rating (ip68 which is submersion for long periods) and they said yes. Less than 30 days later when it barely gets submerged for less than 30 seconds and stops working they tell me they don't cover water damage. It's cool if you don't cover water damage, just tell me that upfront so I know to keep it dry. Not positive but I also suspect they did not use oem parts as promised as well. I won't go back and don't recommend anyone else to either. read more

My family paid $200 to have my little sisters iPad screen replaced for her birthday. They called us a day after drop off and the worker informed us that SHE broke the home button (there were no other problems with the ipad when we dropped it off - which is recorded on the receipt that we have from when we dropped it off!!!). She then told us she can't do anything for us, and we can come get it with a broken screen and home button & that we can't even get our money back. A woman who claimed to be the district manager called and said it wasn't the workers fault and they can't do anything for us, although we have receipt proof & this woman TOLD us on the phone that she broke it! If I could leave a -5 I would. The Largo, Florida store should be shut down. ubreakifix should be ashamed to have employees like they do. I took my business cell phone in for a simple screen repair through Samsung insurance. It worked just fine but the screen is cracked. I had a $29 deductible which I paid and took in the receipt. They took the phone and said it would take 2 hours to fix. I agreed although its not good to be without my business phone for that long. When they finally called over 3 hours later they said that I needed to provide proof of purchase or the old IME #. I told them I will just pay whatever the cost is so I can get back to my customers. She said that she cant give it back to me until I provided proof of purchase or the old IME #. Samsung insurance had replaced my phone once before 2 years ago and sent me a newer phone. So after being on the phone with Samsung for a while they got everything straightened out and sent a message with all the information they needed. Went back to the ubreakifix store and they said that's not good enough and refused to honor Samsung's explanation in writing, it came thru as a text. I was going to email it to them, but she said it had to come straight from Samsung. The manager Jamie at ubreakufix called her Samsung representative and was told it was not good enough. So they put the cracked screen back on my phone and gave it back to me. I have lost hundreds in business so far and got a phone cracked alot worse back. This is unacceptable business practices and I'm thinking about taking legal action. I asked Jamie for the Samsung representative's name and phone number that she said she talked to, she refused to give it to me. Why would the ubreakifix manager refuse to give me the information to get this straighten out. She is saying it's Samsung's business practice with Serify. although, I confirmed with Samsung everything is good for the repair. I have never been treated so bad from anyone let alone a business that held my business phone hostage. read more

Let me start by saying I would recommend you use a five-year-old with a hammer to fix your phone before going to this place, I don't mean the whole corporation you break I fix is bad but this store is a joke. I brought my phone in for a cracked screen which they replaced a month prior they also replace the battery and gave me a free screen protector they put the protector on my phone and within one month the protector started to peel, while peeling it also pulled my screen up an off and snapped a corner off completely. I brought it back to see if they could maybe fix it through their warranty but they told me the damage was done due to impact damage they told me it was impact damage about seven times, this phone was never dropped never thrown I never had it ever been abused. They gave me a tiny discount of a whole $10 and I got the screen repaired for another one, this time I put my phone in a heavy duty case that in no way in hell would be able to crack the screenEven if you threw it against the wall.About 12 hours later I see a tiny feather like crack starting to form in my screen after about 24 hours I have three lines, or let's say cracks running in three different directions from three different points on my phone screen. Let me stress this this was just fixed less than 24 hours prior and the funny thing was is I didn't use it for the whole day because I was out on a boat and figured with my luck I would drop it in the water so I left it at home on my dresser and magically grew cracks. I spoke with the manager and he told me to bring it in and most likely should be able to take care of it since it was such a short time since it was fixed, I brought it in a day later when he was in and he told me that again "this is impact damage "I don't understand how impact damage can occur on my screen protector won't go on my screen because it looks like one side of the screen is lower than the other I told him that I believe that your technicians put in the screen wrong or did not screw down a screw tight enough and is pressing up against my LCD and screen. I called corporate and sent them pictures they told me that no way that this could be any kind of impact damage they can see from the pictures that I took which were at least 20 that there is no sign of a impact or a start point of impact. And they are going to work with me to find another store I can go to to get my phone repaired so I break you fix in general is a great company but the one store in Largo Mall has the stupidest worst policies in the world they will tell you impact damage even if your LCD screen isn't working tell your impact damage if your case is scratched to tell you impact damage if your phones in a OtterBox tell your impact damage for everything, I had one kid there tell me impact damage in our conversation about 12 times I wanted to Impact damage their windows to show them what impact damage really was. I break you fix as a corporation is great Largo Mall I break you fix I suggest you stay far far far away from that store I've only had but problems after the second repair and I have done 4 repairs/upgrades with them but the last two have left a horrible taste in my mouth the way they treated me the way my phone came back to me and the way they made me feel like I was lying to them.
