I primarily use this for drop offs. The staff is usually responsive and friendly with their shipping. The prices are constantly on the rise (as with most things now). I'm finding it easier to buy and use a ship to address rather than buying, wrapping up the whole thing and shipping it out. Recently paid for a shipping pickup and it went very smoothly. I wasn't supposed to pay for any return shipping but that's on the company and not a UPS issue. read more

I brought in multiple packages to ship at this store. There were 3 employees, two young women and a crotchety cranky old white man who was the manager. The old white cranky man spoke over me, interrupted me, and was condescending and rude. I saw other customers come in and was disappointed to see that he behaved the same way to all customers, not just me. Go elsewhere, bring your business elsewhere. read more

People at the store are friendly, which is the only reason for 2 stars. I shipped a package with this UPS Store on 3/28. Paid $160 for 4 day shipping to Vietnam. Package was scheduled to be delivered to the destination in Vietnam on 4/2...we expected delays due to Covid-19 and customs, that wasn't a big deal. I received an email update...UPS handed the package off to the United States Postal Service (ok?) Anyway. The package was picked up on 3/30 and it was headed to JFK in NY to get cleared and the package was last scanned on 4/2...then the tracking stopped. So I contacted the UPS Store..."oh, well the tracking stops once it leaves the United States" so I tell them that's why I shipped with UPS, not the post office...so these issues could be avoided. They then tried to place blame on me for this by saying "we gave you an option when deciding how quick you want it to get there"..."ummmmm, no. You didn't. You gave me prices and delivery dates - no options for a carrier" So now we figure the package is sitting in customs. A week goes by. Still no package delivery. My dad (who the package is going to) goes to the post office in Ho Chi Minh City...they don't have it. (In between all of this I contacted the post office to update the name and phone number since they didn't even have his name on the package...) A few days go by and here we are...still no package delivered to him. No updated tracking. And The UPS Store is useless since it's now with the USPS. All they can do is an investigation for a missing package. When shipping with them, I asked about insurance on the package as well (because somehow I knew something would go wrong) and I was told "insurance is included with international shipping" and I questioned them "oh really!?" - "yes, it's included. What's in the package so we can list it" so I said "it's medications that he needs while he's stuck over there due to the virus"... My dad went to the UPS Store in Ho Chi Minh City...the tracking number is a US tracking number not valid for international shipments. So that's cool (thanks, UPS Store...) When shipping to Vietnam, customs will go through the package and they'll take what they want from the package. If they want it all, tour package will mysteriously "go missing"...and because I can't track where this package is really worries me. Picking up at a post office in Vietnam, you need to offer a bribe to pick up your package. No money? You don't get your stuff. That's how it works over there...another reason I didn't ship with the post office. So basically these are my issues: The UPS Store did not disclose that my order would be shipping with the USPS. They did not tell me once the package left the country that it could not be tracked. They did not tell me the shipping time did not include customs. They did not add proper insurance to the package when I asked. They did not put a name on the label. And according to everyone I've talked to the last week, the package is lost...with necessary medications.l that I now have to pay for out of pocket. UPS Store, I'm very disappointed in your service. If I would have known all of these things, I never would have shipped this package that day. I don't expect a package shipped through the UPS STORE to be shipped via USPS...and that's fine that you do, just please make sure you disclose that information before shipping an international package that can no longer be tracked. I'm going to be following up with them tomorrow and requesting my $160 back to ship the package that is now considered to be lost. The medications inside the package will be a whole other issue when the package is finally found. And it will be found (I'll call back every day...) At least shipping with DHL the package can be tracked the entire way...I'll ship with them for the next order. I'll also be looking for a new ship center going forward. I'm beyond disappointed in the service and lack of communication on their end. ***UPDATE*** The package was attempted delivery on 4/13 my the Vietnam Post Office (it wasn't, he was home all day) so he went to pick up the package at the post office I. hi Chi Minh...they sent him to 4 different places around the city (and it's a big city) and he eventually got the package!...almost 3 weeks later. Medications in the package were no longer usable. Thank you, UPS, for not disclosing this information when the package was being shipped. Very appreciated. read more

I'd choose zero stars if I could. Buyer beware! I paid a premium to ship a $400 bat for replacement and the UPS Store in Seabrook NH lost the bat and delivered an empty, damaged package. They actually tried to deliver an empty package which was rejected by the recipient! Now they won't cover the full cost of the bat even though I provided sufficient documentation and they clearly failed to provide the service I paid for. I paid you to securely deliver my package and you failed miserably. I should have used USPS which would have cost me less to get completely screwed. I will never use this store to ship anything again. Lesson learned. read more

I love the fact that I can call any time and they will check and see if I have mail so I don't have to make a wasted trip. I also love that I have access 24-7 to my mailbox. I bought something from a local auction house apr 25th and I called to arrange pick-up and shipping with this shipper and waited for the call to pay the shipping charges from UPS. It never came. After waiting several days I called the auction house and found they had made some mistakes. I cleared those up. Skip ahead another 3 days, I call the UPS store. they will not look up what is happening with my item but simply says we will contact you when its ready. So I email the auction house who assure me that the auction house picked up my item 3 day prior. Skip ahead another week, I still have no call from the shipper. I call them. The shipper was not given all of my items that were in my lot!! I do not know if this was the auction house problem or UPS, however, at this point it has been over a week since the pickup and no one from UPS returned to get my remaining items and get them shipped out to me. They may eventually ship your item but you may have to wait a month. read more

I had to select 1 start but the actual rating is ZERO. Had to send pkg to my wife who was staying the area but needed to have the pkg held for pickup (medication for kids). Checked UPS website and it said that this could be done at no additional cost. From that page on the UPS site i followed the link to find a location for delivery and it led me to this store. Wife went to pick up the pkg today and had to pay $10 'hold fee' before she could get the pkg. Called UPS and they gave me the run around for half an hour with no resolution or apology. Since this happened checked the UPS site, the stores site and no where can I find any mention that they will hold pkg for ransom before releasing it even though it was a UPS store to UPS store shipment. At best the information on all of the websites is misleading and one could go as far as it being criminal. If there is fine print, i can't find it. Even when I went into the local UPS store to send the pkg and I explained exactly what i was doing they didn't mention that there would be a fee on the other end on top of the $65 I paid to send the tiny pkg overnight. read more
