Still a minus 1 star review. I thought the nightmare was finally over with Pete and this UPS store, but Here is a letter I just had to send to my publishing company Fantagraphics. Dear Fantagraphics, Here's a link to my review for why I had to go through the trauma and expense of being forced to change my biz address from this ups store after having it be my main address for 7 years. That's why I specifically mentioned in the last letter what my new address is so you would change it in the records. I'm really really sorry to have to ask you this, but now the books will be sent to 22 w. Bryan street and then returned to you. If I try to contact Pete who runs this place he will purposefully not give me my books. Like he did a couple months ago when I contacted him for another reason similar to this. It will take about 2 months total for the books to get to my old wrong address, and be sent back to Fantagraphics in Seattle. But you will get them back eventually. So will you please reissue the order of my books to my new address? Also Please please please ! change my address in your records so the check doesn't go to Pete too? Please! This whole thing has been a source of anxiety for a while now and we've had to change everything and it has really impacted my life in an extremely stressful way. I really didn't want this to happen, and When I opened this ups box in 2011 I didn't anticipate having to ever change my address again, but Pete apparently can't just stay out of my business and do his job even when I've paid him for my mail in the same place for years. Not after he saw my fiancé. Apparently Pete has to cause drama because my partner is a black man. I say this because the trouble started with Pete in 2016 when my partner began to work with me in my online publishing and distribution biz and would often come to get the mail. I was subjected to weird questioning by Pete about who my boyfriend was etc. When that has nothing to do with the UPS store and I notified Pete beforehand of the names of my interns and partner who would be picking up my mail while I was on a book signing tour to promote my books. Since Pete's tampering with my mail I had to change my address in 2018. Pete is still causing problems with my current publisher because they didn't get the notification to change my address. But hopefully this will be the last of it. Meanwhile, all I want and need is my book to be delivered to an address I pay for to keep them safe so I can ship them to the customers who order from me online. That's how Mail order usually works. But not if Pete at 22 w. Bryan street can help it. Especially if your a mixed race couple. My new address is run by an African American family and my mail order biz has been secure and drama free ever since 2018 when I switched. I certainly don't pay to have the process more difficult.  22 West Bryan street in Savannah Georgia rates an F- ...If minus stars were available for rating, this place would get plenty.  Moving to Savannah from New York City in 2011, I rented a UPS mailbox like I always do, to keep my mail safe. It's usually worth the money, but in this case it definitely was not!  UPS Pete would continually sexually harass me when I came to pick up my mail.   I don't need comments on how my body looks in my clothes when I am running errands, nor do I dress in a way to incite comment while picking up mail in the morning.  I also do not pay Pete and ups for a surly attitude when I inquire as to where my valuable property is.   My accounts for my publishers, agents, art sale checks, illustration clients and Asian book printer are attached to my UPS mailbox. I never had prior experience to this at the UPS box in Manhattan or Los Angeles where I previously lived for decades before moving to Savannah so didn't anticipate Pete's unprofessional behavior.   The cost to change the address took months of time and countless amounts of money.  This is why I didn't leave when Pete initially started harassing me.  I also found it very stressful, dreading in the anticipation of dealing with Pete in order to pick up my checks or newly released book title.  After 2 years of his bullying and general bad attitude. I firmly told Pete to check himself and stop harassing me.  He stopped for a while, until Pete saw my mixed race, black,  and lbgtq employees. Pete then started hiding my mail, trying to gas-light me by claiming I already picked up the slip used to retrieve it, when I absolutely did not.  Then a couple of weeks later, Pete would miraculously find my package.  After repeated incidents,  our expensive printer ink, which we use to print out all the mail orders at the studio, went missing, due to Pete playing his usual game of hide and seek. We knew the printer ink had been delivered through the tracking number update.  This cost us money and reviews while we waited for Pete to "find" the package of ink a week later.  I contacted UPS to let them know how Pete was hiding my mail and harassing me, to get him to stop.  This incident prompted him to decide to shut down my UPS box which directly effected my business. On the day my Grandma died I went to my mailbox to retrieve the mail before going away to the West coast for her funeral for 2 weeks. Which traumatized me during my Grandmas funeral.  While 3000 miles from my studio and resources, and preoccupied during the funeral as to where to set up a new place to run my business.   I had to contact everywhere from the Art Auction in Texas to the printer in China and more clients,  to stop all mail delivery to my address, on top of everything my family was going through with our Grandmother's death.   3 checks (that I know of) valued at $10,000 , needed to be reissued by the auction house that sells my original comics pages, thrown in the trash by Pete.    Inventory valued at over $20,000 retail was sent to the UPS store which almost got returned to China if my employees had not intercepted the UPS truck and saved the inventory.   Pete needs to be stopped now so he can not continue to do this to women, people of color, and LGBTQ.    And I highly DO NOT  recommend renting a box at 22 West Bryan street. Thank you for your reply. We have documented that the item was delivered on August 7th 2019. A call was made to your store on August 15th 2019. A months time did not lapse between the time the item arrived and the time I called. In addition, the termination of your previous client's mailbox was "unfounded"as it was based on her rejecting inappropriate sexual advances and other incorrect behaviour from the store's manager. Also the mailbox termination procedure did not follow the guidelines as laid out in UPS store official documentation. This too falls well outside of the code of conduct guidelines. Her box was terminated October of 2018, it is August 2019. You are a liar if you claim that it has been "over a year". In fact it is your statement that is "unfounded". I urge others to be wary of your shady and unprofessional practices. read more

Pete and Norris provided exceptional customer service. I had a fairly large shipping project and was almost embarrassed to ask for help. Went to pick up a package today and the store attendant answered a phone call after I walked in and waited in line. After helping the customer before me, he then assisted the person who had called before assisting me. After a while I mentioned I just needed to pick up a package and he told me to hold on, he needed to help the customer first. Then a USPS employee walked in and he helped him, got back to the person on the phone, then finished whatever he was doing and finally helped me. I don't know what I did or what the other people needed that was so important but I expect to get better service when I come into an establishment than someone who calls in, specially if I was there first...right? Giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because I've been here before and have had god experiences. read more

Best UPS ever. I travel quite a bit, and have learned to mail back my purchases instead of carrying on the plane. Thus store not only was attentive, but packed my glass items and hat to protect with my asking. Cannot say enough about the store and the employees. read more

I walked into a neighboring competitor of UPS and stood there for about 10 minutes and not the first employee acknowledged me so I broke out the iPhone and found where the UPS store was and walked over. I walked in and Myron said hello, finished with his current customer and had me in and out in five minutes. A very pleasant and professional experience. read more
