The Creative Approach

This is only the second time I've been to creative approach. The first time I had no issues with my…read moreexperience, but I just walked into the store with an electric scooter and before I could even close the door behind me a woman working here immediately jumped down my throat about how I couldn't bring the scooter inside in a rude and unwarrantedly aggressive tone. She said it was a trip hazard and I asked if I could fold it up and place it underneath the seats out of the way, and she continued to just be mean to me. I get it- It's finals week at SCAD and I'm sure they're swamped. But so am I- I'm on 2 hours of sleep. I don't have a bike lock. I don't have time to go home, drop my scooter off, and make the 45 minute trip back on foot. I quite literally do not have time for this. Give me a break and train your employees to not take their sh*t out on customers.

Never returning here again. I have been using this print shop for 3 years but every time I go it…read moregets worse. First, they claim you can never have perfectly aligned double sided prints but when you go to leave they'll tell you they will line up. The prints then come out off center and they smile and say something like 'well haha it's just printers am-I-right?' (Which is BS, FedEx aligns things and so does VistaPrint) my photoshop files are always perfectly aligned and in the proper mode. Then, if you look closely, EVERY print comes out darker and a HELL-OF-A-LOT blurrier than it is on screen. They will say "oh well printing makes things darker, and your photoshop document has to be in CMYK" and EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN CMYK, it comes out muddied and dark. Example: if you print out a 50% gray, it will come out as %70 or even %80 gray. That's absurd. I'm pretty sure they print at 72 DPI or possibly LESS. Horrible quality. I went to FedEx recently and got some work printed there and WOW was it night and day. Things LINED UP AND WERE CRISP AND CLEAR. From now on all professional printing will be done at VistaPrint. Never coming back here. Never spending $40 on crappy service ever again.

Every employee I have interacted with here has great customer service skills and creates a positive atmosphere from start to finish. There is a UPS store closer to me on Victory Dr, and the young blonde girl there is very sweet, but I keep coming back to this location because the overall energy and friendliness here truly stands out. You feel taken care of the moment you arrive which makes errands quick and pleasant instead of stressful. Highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store today. I came in to return a product that…read morewas extremely heavy. As I struggled to get it into the store, I was visibly huffing and puffing, and another customer was kind enough to open the door for me. I am intelligent, educated and well dressed woman. I assume was not the right complexion. Once inside, I stood in line feeling like I might pass out because the item was so heavy. There were two male attendants at the counter, and neither one offered any assistance, suggested a place where I could set the package down, or acknowledged that I was clearly struggling. For identification purposes, I want to mention, one was a silver haired man, the other was a male with black hair, piercing and tattoos, Instead, they both looked at me and offered no help until it was finally my turn. When I reached the counter, one employee looked past me and asked whether I was next, even though I had been standing there waiting. The other employee, whose line I was in, never properly acknowledged me and seemed to continue a conversation instead of helping me in a timely manner. I left feeling ignored, disrespected, and undervalued as a customer. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are visibly struggling with a heavy item. Whether it was poor customer service, age bias, or some other form of prejudice, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location. Customers deserve basic courtesy, respect, and assistance.

Savannah Blueprint

Savannah Blueprint is an architectural/engineering blueprinting business which has been in town…read moresince the 1920s and now has offices in Stateboro and elsewhere in the region. While that's very impressive to me, I feel like their services have perhaps been eclipsed in some regards by Image is Everything and other local business which cater to SCAD students' printing needs. That said, Savannah Blueprint has always been a blueprinter servicing the industries which use arch/industrial reprographics and not a typical printer. They still get a good deal of business from SCAD kids in the building arts fields plus professionals in the same areas and those in civil, structural, and marine engineering. CADD, desktop publishing and good office/home printers which don't cost a king's ransom have all changed the game and yet these guys hang in and seem to do alright. All the work I've had done by Savannah Blueprint has been just fine. I have no complaints, but then once you've been in this field over ten years you probably have things down, and these folks have been here nearly a century. Why three stars? Savannah Blueprint also carries a number of drafting and surveying instruments and supplies and I've found their selection to be a little lackluster and some of the supplies downright dusty. The downtown office is small and crowded and while I don't fault them for that, I feel that if they want to offer core drafting supplies they could expand their selection because no one much else in the region has a good selection and they, with their history here, could corner the market. Savannah Blueprint also carries--or at least used to carry--USGS maps, but now you can get those for free as PDFs online straight from the source. Sometimes it feels like businesses like Savannah Blueprint are being slowly forced to go the way of the dinosaur due to the Internet and digital innovation, but I think they'll adapt as they have all along. I'm glad they're here, but wish they'd expand their supplies selection and make their website better.

I found Savannah Blueprint via a Google search when looking for a Savannah-based large-format…read moreprinting company. I work for an architectural firm in St. Louis, and we needed to have a couple of oversized documents (36x48) printed, mounted on foamcore, and delivered to a conference site. Called Savannah Blue, spoke to Cyrus (who ROCKS, btw), and was extremely pleased to find that they could accommodate our seriously rushed job, going above and beyond the service I would expect. Now - I'm reviewing them, not having seen the results of their work, but I'm betting it's gonna be stellar!

I was shipping 2 very valuable, fragile paintings to Seattle and they took my concern very seriously. I am so grateful for their kind service at this store. I pray the package gets safely to Seattle and I am hopeful that they will given the service I received. Thank you!!

Needless to say I would rather highlight how Brooke and Gabe both took the time to keep communication lines open and offered a solution to an otherwise unpleasant order fulfillment. This type of "true" customer service is rate now a days and should be commended as this is the only reason why customers will stay with companies are because of people like this who represent your brand! Thank you to Brooke and Gabe! You are much appreciated!!!
