Zineca helped me to resolve the issue caused by UPS delivery driver. On the tracking, it says the driver was unable to deliver my package but no UPS truck showed up in my house. I have camera to prove it. The customer service waste my time calling and upon requesting for supervisor, customer service said the supervisor will call me back in 30mins and never happened. They told me it would arrive on Tuesday it arrived on Saturday and they charged me $9 more than the post office would have. Didn't know this location existed but happy it was on my route of errands for the day. I needed to return an item to Amazon via UPS. The store is not very big but not too small, in that there were a variety of products and services available. Two sweet young ladies managing the counter. I waited maybe 2-3 minutes max. I was all done in no time. Very friendly service, both ladies greeted me hello, bid me goodbye and thanked me for coming in (I don't experience/observe that level of customer engagement much anymore). I really hate mailing things, but this UPS store is my favorite. Yes, the parking lot is horrible, but if you go at different times (weekdays at 10am or 1pm) you can usually get a spot up front. Unbelievably, I have never had to wait for more than one customer. Even today, the place was busy, but the staff is so fast I was in and out in about five minutes. Came to do a live scan in order to get new job. Went and had it completed on 11/17/21 no report was ever received by employer. Called the ups they stated everything on their end was correct. The employer called and was told they same thing. Reached out to the DOJ to find out the info input into the system was in fact not correct. Went to ups store they were not apologetic at all and said all they could do was rescan my fingers. Horrible experience. Fraud and humiliation filled establishment. If you like to deal with sketchy individuals who in a rude manner try to rip you off every single service and item in their store then this place is for you. I went to print couple of files. 1page each. Simpe task you say. I told one of the employees. Let me send you one file and you can print it and I'll send you another one meanwhile (I had to look for it). She did and I asked container for printed label. She gives me total $1.17 for 1 black and white printed page... I thought she might've charged me for this label container and I didn't question the price then. I finally found another file and sent them to email. "Your total is $1,17." Says employee. At this point I realized I'm being ripped off. Instead of advertised price of 0.15c/page. They charge 1 dollar to receive an email (which by the way is never mentioned anywhere) and on top of that 0,15c per page. I questioned this absurd fraud and she brings manager. Meet Cindy. She'll make even this simple task hate your life! From the get go she started in rude manner point to the A4 paper where it apparently SHOULD give me an idea of their true pricing. I read the paper carefully and it never mentions they charge $1/letter received. It says computer/usb use $1 which I never actually used. And I pointed it out. She again in the rude manner says "it's in our system it's not a retail store!" At which point I told her that they should follow advertised pricing in their business establishment. At which point she told me "take a picture and go to consumer affairs than!" I thought taking picture would be actually a good idea and proceeded taking it at which point she mumbled to herself thinking I didn't hear "idiot". This experience totally devastated me. I used my USB memory stick in their computer to print something and afterward it changed all my files to .Ink files and reduced their size, and I can't open them anymore!! Well it's Tuesday, and I called them and she claims that the fax number is still busy, and that my documents have NOT went through to the IRS. I find that suspect. Unfortunately, I work 8:30am to 8pm across town, so I can't return to the ups store and retrieve my documentation from them because I would. So now I'm at their mercy until I'm off again on Monday, and if my shit still hasn't processed I'm getting my money back, and I will NEVER use their services again!! My documents are very important. I told her she was rude went I went to pick up my packages and the next day she sent my new packages back claiming time expired and when I called customer service she later updated the system to say I rejected packages. They have compromised my personal information and by release my credit card information and drivers license information to an uninvolved third party, all the while attempting to fabricate a reason for the incompetence because their manager doesn't have the resolve to deal with a customer complaint. I will be holding both The UPS Store/UPS corporate as well as Cindi, personally responsible. This is now been turned over to the CPB, FTC, American Express merchant violation, and local prosecutors office as they have now stated they will not return my property unless I pay an additional $300, in addition to the $158 that they have already received. Sometimes, you just need to do a quick fax or get some other small business task. Today, I needed to send a fax and dropped by this location. Stephanie was super helpful. When the fax machine didn't send me fax, she took a copy and offered to send it once I got back to the office and checked the number. When I called, she told me they were busy and put me on hold. I hung up and was going to call back in a few minutes. She used the caller Id to call me back. That's just responsive great customer service. First I just want to state that the store manager/owner is rude (CYNDI NGUYEN), and does not know how to withhold a company. My experiences at this store is sadly horrible. She wants to withhold someone mail which is committing a crime with a federal law, for one you cannot withhold someone's property if you have a personal issue. I go to the counter to have one of the worker that helped me to find Cyndi Nguyen snooping behind her (while she had a line of costumer and wanted to waste her invaluable time to be focused on me because she's just felt the need to be extra) to tell the coworker that my item has been shipped back and that we don't take items that are ship to this address... (Which was a COMPLETE LIE), she knows and I know the item was still there because the coworker was confused to why she even said that was a give away and the fact that my ups tracking number and costumer service rep said it was still there. One thing about a liar , they continue to lie unfortunately because my item was there for pick up until that Friday, she signed off my package at her store as well (so if it was shipped back why did UPS costumer service representative on the phone states my item was still there and second why sign off on a package that is mine if you don't take package within a certain address) doesn't make any kind of sense, she was into her feelings and didn't want to give me what was mines. She states that she signed it back to be shipped back to my house to find out she lied again, long story short this is beyond horrible costumer service, she should not be able to run a business she doesn't know how to handle, after reading all these reviews of her faulty self I am not the only one who see's her negative attitude and crappy service. She does over charge for no reason, 2$ for taping fee ? that's really ridiculous. I came across other UPS who would gladly help you with that service. This is not my usual UPS shipper/drop off location, but as I was in the area for work, I looked on Yelp, found this UPS location, & thought it would be as nice and professional as others I've used. Sorry to say, this location was not nice or professional. There were about five customers, along with one employee, during what would seem to be a busy time of day. The employee, who was with a customer, as well as on the phone. Never once acknowledged waiting customers or new customers entering the store. Finally after several minutes of being ignored a few customers, who came in after me started asking him questions, while he was still on the phone & with a customer. So, since I only needed to drop off a "pre-paid" UPS package, I as well stepped up and asked him if I can just leave the package with him. I am moving internationally and need to have an FBI LiveScan done. I have been told UPS store does this by several attorneys. So, I call this UPS store and asked if they do FBI LiveScans with fingerprinting. The woman on the phone said yes, they do that. I explained that is MUST be an FBI scan, not just a California state scan from the Department of Justice. IT MUST BE AN FBI SCAN. She assured me that this was done there and that in order to do it, I should print the form from the FBI website and bring it in. Ok. I explained AGAIN that it has to be FBI, not DOJ. Yes, no problem. OK great, I am on my way. I print the form, fill out the form and bring the form to the store. They start doing my electronic fingerprinting scan. Then the woman at the counter says this is the wrong form. I say, "This is the form the FBI and two immigration attorneys told me to fill out." Oh, she says, it's an FBI form. That's the problem. They don't do FBI forms there. Ok, I say. I just called 30 minutes ago and spoke to a woman on the phone who sounds exactly like you. That woman told me that you DO process FBI forms. She told me that three times. And since I am here and there are only two people working and one of them is male, that means by power of Sherlockian deduction that the woman on the phone was... (drum roll)... you. So why did you tell me you process FBI forms if you do not? She says I must not have spoken to her. Most likely someone else. But the woman I spoke to on the phone had her voice and her accent. The woman I spoke to was quite rude and tried to tell me, "I am trying to educate you on how things work." I came into the ups store today a little after 5pm which is i guess is a rush hour period which occurs since they close at 6:30 and the last postal pickup was gone and the second sales associate was getting ready to leave. The store is constantly busy since they offer a wide range of services; from notary to fax and copy, to postal box rental and shipping packages. But most people were in-n-out. Their business did not take long unless some unexpected technical problem occurred, like it did to me. It was my first time trying to return an item that was purchased from amazon which was a large LED light set that weighed 40lbs. I don't own a printer and i thought that i could pay $1 to print the return label at the ups store since that option was noted on amazon website. But the female associate who was soon after getting ready to leave told me i'd have to pay $3 to use their computer n internet plus 10cents to print the return shipping label from amazon or send the link as an attachment to the store's email to have them print it out. It felt unreasonable since amazon clearly noted when I requested the return that it would be easy to do and there were many options including home pickup, and store-drop off. At one point i even considered just stepping out of the store and taking my package to usps if we could figure out a way to send this purchase back and i swore to never use amazon again. To keep a long story short, thanks to derrick who patiently looked up the customer service phone number for amazon returns, allowed me to access my amazon account to retrieve the postal label i needed, waived the unreasonable fee for internet usage, and helped me complete my return all while juggling several other customers. I greatly appreciate his help. Cyndi is amazing! She takes care of all of my business needs with just a phone call. I usually get things shipped from Los Angeles to Sacramento for my business. She only needs the weight, measurements and location of pick up and sends it right to me. Easy and convenient not having to run into a UPS store every time. I used to deal with FedEx but it was very inconvenient. They did not know my account so every time I called, I would have to start over. I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT get your important documents notarized here. The public notary and manager Erika Zamuido, is a trash employee... I went to get a domestic partnership document notarized and she did not do her job properly which in turn made my registration denied by the California Secretary of State. HUGE inconvenience when you need to get health insurance for your significant other and it has now taken TWICE AS LONG because of this trash manager. As I returned my documents to her to have her do her job correctly she giggled and brushed it off, very very unprofessional and not considerate of the inconvenience and stress she puts on other people because she doesn't know how to do her job. I asked her for a refund for the $30 fee($15 per signature) because she DID NOT provide me a service and she denied me a refund. I couldn't even express my fustration of her trash service, she was talking over me the whole time, very rude!!! I am going straight to UPS to complain about her unprofessionalism. Wow!!! I come to this location pretty frequently to get copies or print documents. I always received excellent customer service from the ladies and gentleman who work here. Well on Monday July 23,2018 I had to stop in really quickly so that I may print 2 very important documents before my appointment. I get on a computer and print the documents from my phone. When I get to the counter I realize I didn't have my credit card with me. ( Changed purses) so I'm trying every card I do have with no luck! Mind you I'm on a limited amount of time to get this done and make my appointment. My cards kept decking the 3.35 amount! I ask the lady is there ANYWAY I could take my documents and come back later to pay??? She quickly says yes and I offer my cell phone number as well as my first and last name. The two ladies who helped me literally saved my butt with this kind trusting gesture. When I came back to pay my debt she says oh you came back lol I'm like yup my word is bond and you ladies did me a favor so thank you so much! I would have rated with five stars but the smell from the nail salon next door is so bad I left feeling nauseous with a slight headache. The service was absolutely worth five stars though. Stacie was the name of the girl working at the time, she was alone and her speed was incredible. She was extremely helpful and personable. I felt bad for her in that situation. And was patient with me , however you can tell she did not want to be there . Which is fine everyone is allowed bad days . I feel it . But the young man who did not help me , that was behind the counter with her as well . He was also not in a good mood and kind of rude to who ever he was helping . Then there was this kid was playing with some merchandise and the mother had her hands full with her infant . Her literally was playing with it for 2.3 seconds . Heads up ~ if you are mailing a package and you have the UPS label ~ tape the box BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. I was doing my roomie a favor and dropping off her return and we had the label on the box. It wasn't taped up but I thought "hey UPS' commercial talk about all of their packaging and even someone told me where the closest one was said they will tape it." Easy peasy right? Not today........cost to tape a box $1. I dug in my lil purse and found 35 cents ~ not going to cover it. Okay I will use my card for $1 purchase. I was then told they were going to charge me $2.50 to use my card. Wait what? So it would have been $3.50 to tape a small package right down the middle? Nahhhhhh ~ I picked up my box to leave and a nice lady gave me a dollar to mail the box. She couldn't believe it. I thanked her and decided a) do my best to tape a box before mailing it via UPS (if I have to) and b) do my best not to mail anything using UPS. Lol! read more
