First time at this location. I walked in and there was no line, yay! Only waited a few moments for it to be my turn and Debi called me up. She was very kind and fun to talk to. She was very knowledgeable about what exactly I needed since I had a very important items to send. We got it all sorted quickly and correctly and with a AAA discount to boot! Debi helped make a very stressful task accomplished with ease. Thank you!!!!! I will def be using this locale again in the future. There were quite a few customers who were being attended to and I also did not have to wait as one of the staff offered to help me right away. He was very cooperative and helped me with a printing and copy request. I got the notary work done right away by another lady. The staff were very professional and courteous. It was such a joy to see the quality of service here. Though there are other UPS stores much closer to my home, I would always come here to this particular store. Horrible experience with this location. My wife shipped Christmas gifts for our daughter with plenty of time to be delivered. After my daughter said she hadn't received two packages, she went back to the store and determined that when she dropped them off, the clerk left the suit number off the printed label, which was clearly handwritten on the package. The staff there said the package was in transit to be delivered back to Tampa and a reattempt to deliver would be another shipping charge and not delivered before Christmas. Or we could pay even more to have it expedited... this was clearly the original clerk's mistake entering the address.... And the indignant attitude makes it even worse... So I did receive a response from the business below. Here is my reply to the business: Thank you for the reply. What I gather from it is that you accept no responsibility for your employee's error in leaving off the suite number, rather it is up to the customer to assume it was entered incorrectly and to catch the mistake. My wife acknowledges that she should have caught it, rather than taking for granted it would be correct since it was clearly provided on every package, she should have assumed it would be wrong and looked closer. However the attitude that "we have no culpability" and it's only your (the customer's) fault is just wrong. Not to mention the attitude of "sorry your fault" to the customer that just spent nearly $70 in shipping with you is just not acceptable. The dismissive attitude about the situation is really the worst part about this whole unfortunate series of events. Not to be overlooked was that you had her phone number and no attempt was made to contact her so the delivery could've been made. read more

The UPS store in Riverview is the most racist place in the area. I have experienced two inc of racism in this state and they were both in the UPS store in Riverview. The racism is not subtle. Don't be confused by the fact that there are people of color working there. It starts at the top!!!!! Thank you for your response but the problem is with someone who represented themselves as the owner. He was very rude that I was confused as to the procedures. He refused to give me any service and them threatened to call the police. I have never been treated like that by an employee anywhere. It made me feel less than and unsafe. The other incident involved a customer. it is obvious that the people there have some feeling of entitlement and privilege. read more

I have been a mail box holder for over 10 plus years at this location as well as a long time customer for shipping and printing services. I drop packages at this location daily. I always receive the most knowledgeable and patient service when I need to print the many reports and flyers I need on a regular basis. The work is always perfect and the prices fair. I have always been greeted with a friendly smiling face not just with the employees but also the owner. Never once in my daily sometimes twice a day visits to this store have I seen the employees or the owner be less than courteous to ALL customers who walk through the door even when said customers are being disrespectful and rude or even acting entitled, which I have seen plenty of times. My nephew and I went to this store on 2/16/23 to do a return package for Amazon. My nephew was informed by the employee that he needed a box which he questioned since he has returned several things after going back and forth with the employee my nephew told him to give him the box which at this time the employee stated that he wasn't going to serve him which my nephew became irate because the employee said to leave his store and that he was going to call the police then my nephew said for him to call he'll wait. 8 non-black customers were waiting for service. My nephew was the only African American in the store when this refusal of service happened. This is the second time in this store that an incident has taken place the other one being with a customer. We decided to leave very upset with the treatment that he received. My nephew is a disabled veteran with prostate cancer going through treatment he felt embarrassed and disrespected. My husband is in the military and we have been going to this UPS store for almost two years now, since we were stationed at MacDill, without any problem. In fact, yesterday my husband and I went and had some important documents notarized with no problem (by the wife). We went back today to get a second set of papers notarized and left in disgust. The owner (husband) refused to serve us because he said we did not have proper ID, even though we showed him both of our military IDs, our drivers licenses, and my husband even had a state id. When we asked him what the problem was, he said he was refusing to notarize our paperwork and that he did not want to serve us. I can only come to the conclusion that he was refusing to notarize our documents because my husband is active in the military. Or perhaps it was because we are a multi-racial couple. His wife, in the past, has notarized many documents for both of us, including yesterday. She is kind and professional, but the husband is a complete jerk. I will not be going back and I would ask anyone who has any respect for our men and women in uniform to not use this store. Go to the Amscot on the corner of Gibsonton and the 301 instead. They were kind and courteous and professional. Their notary is cheaper, too. $10 versus this UPS store's charge of $14. Thank you for supporting our troops and going elsewhere with your business. read more

Walked in today with box to go to Wyoming and was told the least expensive was $30.00- thought that was expensive so I asked if there was a cheaper method. Man- owner? - said no all including usps would be about the same so I paid and left. Told a friend and was told usps has a flat rate box that is $13- quite a big difference! I called them back and nicely asked why I was told this when I asked and was told they didn't know about it!! No way- it's their business to know!! Wasn't offered a refund of difference and female owner said " why thank you for that information"! Do NOT USE THIS UPS STORE!! I was taken for a ride and don't want it to happen to anyone else, especially during the holidays when we all want our gifts to arrive but at a fair price!!! read more
