Lately I've seen Heidi a couple times who's always nice and today on 4.8.26 I came in to a line of about 5-6 people, the return kiosk "jammed" (it was just out of paper to print labels) and Heidi not only provided efficient service to customers (along with the other two gentlemen working), but her positive attitude seemed to ensure that every customer left with a smile on their face. She engaged with customers, made jokes to lighten the mood, all while providing such terrific service. She absolutely went above and beyond to make what some might feel like a frustrating experience (waiting to get an errand done), a happy and enjoyable one! You scan your label and drop it in the box and get a confirmation receipt. The staff is somewhat friendly/knowledgeable. The parking is almost always packed and you're lucky if you get a parking stall as this shopping center is normally busy during the day.

I attended a lovely memorial service for our dearly departed friend that passed away a few months…read moreago put on by the staff at SSC Funeral Home. This is an annual Remembrance Service that takes place at the year's closing during Christmas. Louis DeSouza, the manager of the funeral home gave an introductory talk and introduced his staff. It was nice to see a manager acknowledging and praising his hard working staff. Pastor Hal Jeffery had some very comforting and encouraging words that reminded us that our departed loved ones would want us to carry on with life, celebrate it and enjoy it. The staff presented each of us with a beautiful glass angel ornament with our loved one's name. Some placed them on the tree at the funeral home while some took it home to put on their own trees. Pastor Hal then made a blessing of the tree. Lunch and refreshments followed. Thank you to the staff at SCC Funeral Home for helping ease the pain and providing comfort through such a difficult time of the holidays. The ceremony was truly uplifting.

As far as I'm concerned Mr. Feldman is a wizard because he works magic on old photographs. I've…read moreused his services twice and both times the results were exemplary. The first time I contacted Feldman's Photography it was for a unique situation. My grandmother was put into a nursing home and things weren't looking good for her. I was trying to think of ways to cheer her up and remembered a picture of her as a young woman she had given me. Because of its advanced age the color black in the photo had become incredibly shiny (a process called "silvering" he explained to me). In my one on one consultation with Mr. Feldman I told him I wanted the photo restored, but if he couldn't do it rapidly (for obvious reasons) it wouldn't work. He undertook the job and not only did he get it to me quickly, but it ended up looking better than I ever could have hoped. It brought such a smile to my grandmother's face and we had the photo on display by her casket at her funeral. Years later I brought in a damaged photo of my grandfather and once again Mr. Feldman did a great job restoring it. I'll always be grateful to Mr. Feldman for rushing that job for me. When I find more treasured old photos I know who I'm bringing them to.

Three times I asked for a total, three times he recited the same formula, finally telling me to count the negatives myself while we stood in the sun. I asked why didn't he have an office, he gave on Nebraska Ave, then said he worked out of his home, and "didn't invite strangers into his home." I said I didn't like meeting strangers in parking lots, took back my cc information and pictures and left.
