New management made the mailbox service a waste of money for people presently residing outside of the area--a primary customer base for private mailboxes. They will not open mail, scan, and send it to us, ltho the original contract gives them permission. Policy change notice was stuffed in the boxes, not emailed until 1 week from the deadline when they requested very personal info to be sent by regular email, ignoring all security protocols. When I was unable to provide the info in the time permitted they closed my box and refusef to return the half year of service I paid for. read more

Brian, the big boss is just a huge fan of that whole idea that worker's rights should solely belong in California or Washington and finding a cheap labor is beneficial even though there are multiple scientific researches proving that in a long run this approach is in many ways detrimental . We are talking about slaving your life away for like under $10/hour in a pre-covid 2020 prices. So in a way workers already fill like they are being over scammed and underpaid and overcharging you for making those extra copies of your receipts is the only way for them to generate some extra income and to break even. UPS Customer Center at 2600 GARRETT WAY, POCATELLO, ID could be a completely different story, but only on a condition that you know who to speak with in case there are some complications and who to report the faulty agent to. read more

Ever since mailboxes etc days, I have considered ups store my office and my second home. They are invaluable and the store in Pocatello is top notch. I went to return a package and had a bar code on my phone. The guy that worked there was rude and said he couldn't do it. I had to do the printing and packaging myself when everything I had said to take it to the store and they will take care of it. The guy was extremely rude and condescending and refused to do anything to help me out. He claimed to be the owner and if that really is true, then you are extremely unprofessional and rude and you obviously know nothing about customer service. You need to take care of people instead of putting them down and being a complete asshole to them. I will be taking this further than just at the store level as the way that I was treated is completely inappropriate. read more

After recently moving to Pocatello, I needed notary services to get my vehicle title from another state. As my bank is also currently out of state, I thought that UPS would be a great alternative. They had a feature to schedule an appointment online, and to my relief I was able to pick a time slot that worked with my schedule, on that same day. However when I arrived for my appointment, the notary was not available. I was told that he had left for the day due to himself going through a move. A woman working there said that she had tried giving me a call. To be honest, I had been running errands prior to my appointment and missed the call. In addition, no message was left so I didn't bother calling an unknown number back with no message. I received no apology, was told the notary *MAY* be available the next day, and that was it. There were three other customers waiting or being helped, and clearly I was not going to get anything other than "oops, sorry about your bad luck" as a response from them. BOTTOM LINE: If you can't provide a service that you advertise, then you shouldn't allow your customers to schedule an appointment for one. read more

Disappointed. I booked a notary service for this morning at 9 AM, through the UPS website. Now, the site has more days/times available than are truly available days and times, and because of this I had already rebooked this service 3 times, with notes from the notary that my first choices weren't actually available. I was happy with this communication and was told service availability would begin on Tuesday morning (today), and I booked the service. I worked out this time on a very strict time frame as I am working today as well and this service is needed for work. When I arrived, there was only one (very good, very attentive) employee and a long line. I reach the front of the line and state I am here for my appointment. The poor employee then notifies me that the notary is "running late" and would be in around 10:30 am. In my humble opinion, 10:30 AM is not "running late" to a 9 AM appointment. I let the employee know that I am on shift and on a tight schedule, and may I have the notary's work schedule so I can reschedule? This is when the employee informs me that the notary is the owner so unfortunately he doesn't have his schedule. I said thank you and leave. Now, I know there was nothing this employee could do and he was doing a great job. He gave me all the info he could and was handling the long line very efficiently. My issue is with the owner, who seems to have left this one employee hanging and dropped the ball. I hope the front desk employee gets a raise, and it would be helpful if another notary were hired or made available. I hired a home service mobile notary and will not be rebooking with UPS. read more

I'm not your normal customer because I don't live in the area. I have had a mailbox here for many years. They have always been really friendly and willing to help. Sometimes the people higher up than the manager here try to make life difficult for the local management and some people with boxes like mine, but the manager and workers have always really bent over backwards to help. We have gone to UPS store on Yellowstone for a long time. Now we are switching to Fedex for two reasons: 1. The customer service has gone down hill . We actually had a UPS agent tell us he knew what he was doing and not to question him. I pursued my questions anyway and found that he had included the wrong return address on packaging and had to insist that UPS database records be changed. The agent made me wait for this to occur stating that he needs to take care of other customers first. I went back on line of about 3 other people, wating until the agent was ready to expend some time to recheck and make the changes to an incorrect address. He insisted everything was correct but when I showed him the ticket receipt with incorrect addres , he looked frustrated, quickly made changes, gave me a new print out and turned to next customer without and appology for error or anything. 2. Access to this store off yellowstone is difficult , parking is very limited easpecially during busy periods. While we understand its become an issue and adds to fist issue. read more

Awesome customer service. Went above and beyond to fix an issue I had created when I created wrong return instructions on amazon.

I had some items I needed to return to Amazon. I took my items In and had the scan codes to get everything taken care of. The employee I dealt with Informed me that it makes their job harder when they have to package things individually to send back. You work in a UPS store, what do you expect to do for your job their?? The guy I dealt with looked like he hates life, and I was a burden to go in there. At the end he rips the receipt and hands it me and walks off. I had to ask if we were done or if there was anything else I had to do. The point here is that if you can't at least smile and be decent with people, you shouldn't work with the public. It's beyond ridiculous how much customer service has tanked the last few years. There's plenty of jobs you can get that you don't deal with the public. I read the reviews before going to this location and they had some pretty negative ones, after my experience I now see why. It's not that hard to be friendly at your job. read more

In from out of town and had to drop off a package to be returned to Verizon. Gentleman at counter was very nice, made sure I had a receipt, and double taped all the seams of the box. Was in and out in 30 seconds! read more

So UPS uses USPS and does not inform their customers that their mail is now subject to the US Postal Service's crappy service. We use UPS because we expect UPS' services! My nephew sent my passport out to me on 06 JUL via UPS Store #1988 in Pocatello, and the expected delivery date was 14 JUL, great. Unfortunately, no delivery on 14 JUL. He was then informed that the package had been sent via USPS and not UPS. Again, why would UPS switch to using USPS and not tell their customers?! So I used the tracking number my nephew provided and went to the USPS site only to find the expected delivery date was for 19 JUL. Well that day came and went and still no delivery. I checked the USPS website again and now there was no expected delivery date as of 11 JUL. So I filed a missing mail report with USPS. They left a voicemail saying that it was in Denver and then had to go on a train to Richmond, CA, from there it would go on a boat to Hawaii, and all of this would take an additional two weeks. What nonsense having to wait a month for mail. Why not just go directly to the Post Office if a customer wishes to use USPS? Now I have to wait until the beginning of AUG for my passport. There's a reason why customers use UPS and not the US Postal Service. UPS, you cannot dismiss yourselves from any responsibility simply because you passed the buck to USPS. You are equally responsible for this debacle. Be honest with your customers and inform them that not all mail is sent via UPS. read more

We didn't use to have problems but the last few weeks their drivers have not attempted to deliver packages at all. I watched the driver turn around and not attempt to even deliver my packags. I also got a notification from amazon saying they attempted to deliver my package at 5:59pm but I was home the whole time and no attempt was made. Do NOT use UPS! read more
