Stopped by to ship several items and I thought the service was excellent. I was greeted with a smile and was asked how I was doing. I came on here because the reviews weren't in line with what I experienced. They packed my items better than I could and used a box that fit everything. The prices matched the online estimate to the penny so I asked about this and they said that all ups stores are on the same system (the gentleman turned the screen so I watched him type everything in). Overall service was good and price as expected. Recommended and will be back again. read more

Horrible customer service. Employees act like they are doing you a favor and don't respond to hello, how are you or have a nice day. The poor attitude and "snatching" of packages and paperwork is consistent regardless of how busy or how slow they are. Go to a different UPS store! read more

This place is not very good. They were not helpful in assisting me in shipping my package even though i had a prepaid and packaged item. U P S needs to be careful with whom they allow to represent their brand and insure they are appropriately trained in customer interaction and support. read more

Big mishap at USPS today. So, I came here, and they took care of all my items to ship. Good service . John was busy. Had a computer glitch of some sort so, he wasn't his usually friendly, smiling self. Thats ok. The lady who helped me took care of everything and the computer glitch did not affect me. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have PO Box there for my business. They denied having my packages even though there were pics and proof of delivery to them. After I asked to look at where packages are processed my packages were found on a garbage pile. I can't rely on them for my small business to receive my packages. They refuse to refund me for a PO Box I'll never use. This is now owned by a new owner. He is the problem. He told me I'm ruining his business because I complained and wanted my packages. He didn't care he was ruining mine. You're better off driving to the one at Essington and Caton Farm. read more

Attempted notary service at this location twice at different times of the day weeks apart with same result which is no service because he's busy doing something in the back. The first excuse was he was fixing something. During the first attempt, We waited for about ten minutes and left. The second attempt, the excuse was he was cleaning the bathroom. I asked the attendant in the front how much longer after waiting a few minutes and told him we had same experience the first time. The attendant said he just started cleaning the bathroom and to which I responded that it's odd we have same basic experience where the notary is busy doing something. Once again we left. New in area and Never will I attempt to use this location for anything!!!! One star is too much to give as you deserve zero stars. John Park, what a horrible example of a store manager. I entered the store first, and was standing at the counter waiting for service. There was a man who entered after, and was standing behind me. I told John I had 2 boxes to return to Amazon, and began to present my shipping code to be scanned from my phone. John looked at the man who was also dropping off a package. He decided to take the man first. When I called John out for skipping over me to help the man, he said he thought I would take to long to get ready. I had my boxes ready to go, with the code showing on my screen-I could not have been more prepared to be helped! Does John discriminate against women or Amazon returns? I guess I'll never know because I will never enter this location again! read more

John and the crew at this UPS Store are incredible. They are usually pretty busy, and you may have to wait a minute or two, especially now that they can handle AMAZON returns. I highly recommend this place for customer service, friendliness, and services offered. read more

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. The owner is so rude. He is incompetent and barely hears you, in fact I'm convinced he ignores you. I sure do miss the chirpy uplifting woman clerk who used to work there. She always took care of us in a timely manner and was a pleasure to speak with. The service at this store is terrible. The completely messed up a Christmas delivery and tried to blame us. When I asked them to correct their mistake they said they couldn't do that. Kept insisting that we were the ones who were wrong. He was also unwilling to do anything to correct it (refund, credit etc). Next time it's FedEx or USPS. Addition: after I first hung up with them not being able to do anything for us, he calls back AGAIN to say it was our fault and we are wrong! The nerve of this guy. I mean who does that?!? The employees and the owner of this store are completely inept and have now crossed over to being rude. If he would have admitted his mistake and tried to come up with a solution I wouldn't be this upset. But he kept saying we were wrong (when in this case we weren't) and then called back to continue arguing. read more

After shipping some items at this location, I was curious to see what the reviews were and I was surprised there weren't any. So here is my experiences at this store. I've been a resident of the Plainfield area for 15 years, and I have been a long time customer of "John" the owner of this store. I have tried all other shipping stores in the area, and none of them really compare for three reasons. 1. The owner is passionate to make sure the customer is happy. 2 this location has been around for like 10 years and there is a reason why. When you have something like an antique dish set (which my wife sent), the owner will make sure it will get there safely. 3. They are honest about the prices and will try to get you the best price from the UPS system. I have avoided Pak-Mail with a passion because apparently they charge an extra 20% for "service." All the boxes go on the same brown truck. Since this place is UPS, they do not have extra charges. FedEx lost my box not once but twice. Once it was delivered to the wrong address and the other they legitamately lost. I am still mad at them. How do you lose a box? Overall, I recommend this store. read more

I have a mailbox at this store and noticed that they go above and beyond what I would expect from a business. Not only do they do their best to give you the best price on shipping, but they will comparison shop for you. I feel confident with their services because the owner is so passionate about his business. He seriously goes above and beyond and if you are not satisified, he will do everything in his power to rectify the issue. One thing I overheard today while picking up my mail was that this store uses the same system as the "distribution centers." I always thought otherwise, but there was a disgruntled customer and the owner and employees assured her and showed her that the systems are the same. That is why I had to post a review somewhere. I would not recommend coming here. Go to FedEx down the block. I went in to print some invitations on stock card. And I asked the clerk there if that was something you could do. He looked very unsure and said "invitations?... hmmm I think so I do not know.." then he said you can try over on that computer. I have the pdf saved on my Adobe cloud. So when I went to the computer I saw there was a short cut saved on the home screen that said Adobe. So I clicked it and signed in. And bam there was my document. So I clicked it and asked him again if I print this it will be on stock card right? He said oh yes. Then he told me wait what size is that invitation? I told him 5x7. And he started mumbling to which I couldn't understand as if i was lying... so I said is this a problem to where I should just find another business to go to? And he said "Yes, you go do that." Umm okay. I wasn't rude, I wasn't pushy. I just wanted to print my invitation and pay for them. Apparently that is something you cannot do here even though signs say otgerwise. A place ran by an incompetent nearly deaf man that you can barely understand. He over charges you on everything and it is not worth your time or money to ship or get anything done at this store. I recommend using a different UPS store, going to the post office, or using the FedEX store across the street. read more
