This is the only FedEx office I have encountered that consistently results in frustrating issues. We frequently ship RMA labels for warranty replacement parts. Manufacturers often send us pre-labeled FedEx packages, into which we typically place the defective part for return. However, this specific location insists on requiring us to repackage the entire shipment each time sure to the packaging being "express" packaging, a practice that is not enforced at any other FedEx location, including the FedEx ShipCenter in Aurora/Naperville. I believe this issue stems from a lack of training or misguided corporate policies. While the staff may be following instructions, they seem unable to apply customer service principles. For example, Israel "like I said" recently informed me that placing the pre-labeled package in the self-service box would result in the package being returned to me, a completely illogical outcome coming from a logistics company. With no other resolution to the problem than "you have to repackage it and pay for another label". I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with a manager or corporate representative. I hope to gain a clear explanation for the inconsistent practices at this location and how they can be aligned with the standards of other FedEx offices.

I had a flood which soaked the banker's boxes and were now in garbage bags and soggy boxes. He returned at an agreed future date with the truck that had the onsite shredder. He took them from the boxes and bags and put them in the shredder and put the containers they were in into my trash dumpster. He is a polite, neat and a hard working small business owner. I had my files shredded by the major companies and he was much more accommodating and easier to work with than with company employees who did not care if you used them again. Forget some of the old reviews. They were from previous ownership.

They offer many services you can have a setup schedule like if you have a small business where they'll come out pick up your stuff and shred it or you can have it shredded on the spot. Their prices are beyond reasonable I came in with a tote about the size of a large laundry basket with approximately 5 years of receipts and credit card bills and all kinds of other personal things tax papers I wanted shredded and I was hoping to watch and not just leave. Well if you have lots and lots of stuff if one of their trucks are down they have to use one of the other trucks too run a route because they do do a lot of route pickups. They said the truck wasn't there at the time which I understood however after speaking and they saw what I had they were able to fire up the one little box truck with the shredding machine after they weighed my documents and all my crap that came out to be a roughly in the $30 range. They give you the first 40 lb for the can and everything else it filled up about half of it. I'll put some videos up as you can watch how it works it's pretty damn cool she was very very pleasant and very professional and fired up the little Freightliner truck idled it up and then started the shredding machine and drop down one of the old cans and put mine up put a couple of twists down the dial brought me over and said here you can watch and see how it goes and sure enough you could see it getting shredded on the little videos I'll put up which is kind of cool watching it right on the spot. They used to be very polite, helpful and accommodating. You used to be able to call in and ask a question and speak with someone on site or get clear answers about the process. Now there's a lot of ambiguity in the process. You used to be able to go in without an appointment and have your documents shredded if there was a truck on site. Now you cannot just go to the site. You have to have an appointment scheduled in advance and canceled in advance if you cannot make it per DeShawn and Customer Service.
