This is the most poorly run UPS store. Here numerous times and always a long wait. No sense of urgency to move people through I guess because the owner figures people will be here anyway. Supposed to open at 8:30am, it's now 9:02 and no sign of anyone with 9 people standing outside (me being one of them). Lights still out, no note on the door. I understand emergencies happen but it actually just looked like an employee tried the door & no luck so clearly he doesn't know what's going on either. I'm sure Paul will have some smart comment but it clearly shows his attitude when he does this & can't take any constructive criticism. Third time I've placed an order with this store and it's the third time they botched it. And they didn't just botch it, they never bothered doing the job or calling me to tell me they couldn't get it done. Instead, they blamed the manager, who is evidently the only one who can handle print orders. But she leaves before 3:30 in the afternoon, so there's that. NO customer service whatsoever and this is the last time I'll set foot in that store. Came in with the items I needed to ship, the young lady Kim helped me pick out the correct packing materials needed and got me all finished up within 10mins of being on the store. Terrible customer service. The blonde working the register gave me death glares because I had the audacity to ask if there was another self-service kiosk. The woman using the self-service kiosk was returning over 20 pieces of small jewelry and by the time I realized it, the line for the registers had gotten long. I had to wait in that line and the blonde woman was so rude. I suggested they get another self-service kiosk or limit the amount of return somebody can do on a self-service kiosk because in my opinion 20 returns on on the only self-service kiosk is a lot at 5:00 p.m. I'm not sure why this woman took it so personally... just a terribly angry person. 10/2/14 Needed to get my speakers to my sound system out to California safely, so I decided to bite the bullet and pay for the safe shipping. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The were able to pack and weight my speakers and sound bar in the best way possible considering the size. I thought they did a great job and it was bit pricey. The store and staff was great. When I received the box the following week in California I was a little disappointed to see the box so beat up and busted open. It was labeled fragile but those transporting it didn't think so. The bottoms which keeps the speakers standing were busted off and now have to be glued instead of screwed in like they were before. I give the store an A & the transport a D! read more

I have never used Yelp to write a poor review, but my experience was terrible. I simply had to pick up one package from this location, arrived before 7 p.m., and was told that they were closed through a locked door. I held my phone up with the time, and the gentleman working told me that they were closed. He waited for two minutes before he came to the door to tell me this, trying to make it seem as though I arrived after their closing time. I've worked in customer service for years, and I can understand if I was dropping off a package or doing something that would take a substantial amount of time, but picking something up that was dropped off an hour before? I think any job that involves customer service can do much better. I've been warned about how poor this location's service is by relatives, and I can't say that I'm surprised. read more

Stopped in to mail a package at this location and was greeted quite rudely by a gentleman who apparently did not want to be at work. After begrudgingly taking my package and getting the address for delivery he informed me that 2 day air was the only way ship this package. He informed that ups was not the offering ground shipping during the holiday. This would cost 156.00 dollars to send the package. Seemed like an up sell tactic to me. What a rude and completely unprofessional experience I just had. I came in with 4 tires to return in a single skew from Amazon. The guy tells me he needs 4 separate skews. Or two. And I have to wrap them. But he doesn't have any. Ok I'll purchase some tape. I tape it the same way ups delivered it to me. Not good enough. I need to tape it on all four sides. I've never written a bad review about a business until now. The store closes at 7pm. I get to the store to ship something out at 645, and wait in line until I was helped by an employee at 654. I am then told I cannot ship anything out as they cut off at 6:50 and I can come back tomorrow if I want to ship something. No reason given, just told me they're down to one register and it's company policy that they cannot ship after 6:50. They even stopped letting people in at 6:50. The UPS store at Honey-go. Went into the store on Dec 29 2020, to return FIOS equipment per FIOS instructions. Older Gentleman said he wasn't sure he could do it and hollered over to the other man "can we do this"? Yes you have to use the computer he turned to me and said the computer is down come back the end of the week Thursday, I left and went to the Middle River location off of RT 43. Young man took the package and said he'd be a few minutes, very nice returned to me handed me a receipt and said all done. My wife has had other problems at the Honey-go UPS location. I had went on a rant earlier, but removed that post. Long story short, UPS didn't have any scans of my package so I couldn't track it at all. I called the store who had a record of it going out, called the main UPS line who had no record of it at all. Called the receiver a and they got the package. The people at the store were very helpful and understood my frustration. They apologized, although they didn't do anything wrong. They were really nice, and sent out my package... its after it left their store that it was lost. They gave me a refund on the shipping. Christmas is near and this store will be used intensively by everyone local to it. Staff friendly and helpful. I love it that the store has all the materials available so one can simple bring in what they want to ship, ask a few questions, and pack it up on site. I use UPS all the time in PA and have never had an issue with packaging, transit, tracking or delivery. Only one time was there a "lost" item and UPS traced it back to the minute it was allegedly put on the truck. UPS hasd the seller resend the package at no charge (not sure what transpired in the background on that but I was more than pleased). UPS is a major US success story for the shipping industry. I frequent UPS Stores in the Central Maryland area quite often for Amazon returns, and before two weeks ago, this particular location was my store of preference. I didn't catch the name of the older lady that was working that day, but there were easily 15 people in line at around 1pm on a Saturday. My husband and I were in line for easily 45 minutes. When it was finally our turn, she asked us an unreasonable amount of questions, and at one point had us doing her job for her. We were returning an 8x10 rug to Amazon, and she was unsure about the warehouse address, so she asked us to guess for her what format the address should be written in. I'm still unsure of whether or not we got the address correct, as I'm not as familiar with address codes as she should be. She then told me to remind her three times to apply my AAA credit to final cost of the shipping. It took her ten minutes to process our packages, and when I finally got back to my car, I realized that she had handed back a packing slip that was to be included in the package. I returned to the store, and after debating whether or not to rejoin the very long line, I politely interrupted her and showed her the packing slip that she failed to include. She then in an annoyed and exasperated manner told me to that I would need to tape it on the package myself. I asked to use her tape (because I don't carry masking tape around on me) and she pointed to a location behind the counter for me to grab it. I awkwardly grabbed the tape, and taped the packing slip to the rug. I have had great service at this location, and I do not doubt that my service that day had everything to do with the older lady working, and nothing to do with management. She was clearly overwhelmed, and she should not be tasked with running the store by herself during a busy shift. read more

Great and patient customer service from the gentleman at the counter. I came with an Amazon return but no label. He patiently walked me through the steps to email return label to the store for printing. Although my phone auto corrected the store's email address, which made email undeliverable. He patiently waited and double checked before I sent label for the third time. Although a fee was required for printing, he waived the fee. He agreed that just getting the return label "was like work". Even if the fee wasn't waived he deserved a shout out just for truly great customer service. read more

I'm literally sitting outside as I write this review ! I arrived to the ups at exactly 6:52. I pulled on the door and the doors were locked however I could see a fat older white man staring me in my face. A white woman wearing a white tank top (which is completely inappropriate for a work environment) was behind the register. As I stood at the door they turned the lights off . I walked back to my car and as I was about to pull out of my parking spot, a young white woman walked up to the door (just as I had done less than 30 seconds before) the fat white man then comes and unlocks the door and helps that lady! I am furious ! "I yelled excuse me" from my car window and the manager hurried and handed the young lady her package and locked the door! I feel so unappreciated and under valued! Do not use this store! Took a box in to be delivered for a 30th birthday.. Employee did not check address on box just ships it to an address under my account in the system. Incompetent ... I will be surprised if my daughter sees this box by her 31st birthday.. Spent 1.5 hours on phone w UPS.. and an addition hour this morning driving back & forth & dealing w this issue. Only to find out UPS will send it back to store if they can retrieve it... and then it will have to fly back out to correct address... NIGHT MARE!! I have used many UPS store locations over the years and received excellent service until I used this store. On 12/28/2020, I requested this store to prepare a shipping label to be sent to an out-of-state address. Originally I had misplaced the tracking number. I called the store on 01/09/2021, and the female staff member who answered the phone call was very courteous and helpful. She found my information by looking up my phone number. She said a manager would call me back. I waited for a call back but never received one. On 01/18/2020, I called the store again. The male staff member who answered the phone said he was the manager on duty and said I would need my tracking number and wouldn't help me further. I found my tracking number, called back, and he said in a mocking tone, "I can't help you, I'm going to hang up." I called several times after that, and the call was never answered. He was probably looking at the caller ID number and decided not to take the call. That package had my mortgage information, and because of UPS they received my information late and charged me a late fee and court fee. To anyone reading this, whatever you do, do not use this UPS store location for your shipping needs. There are better shipping service providers in the White Marsh/Perry Hall vicinity. They will gladly take your money, but will not provide you good service. read more

I went to this store today to ship a package for work, and didn't have any problems while in the store. By the time I got back home I realized I had forgotten to require a signature upon delivery. I called the store to see if I could add this after the fact. The younger sounding girl on the phone was extremely rude, and said they would not be able to find my package "in this mess", and that the only way I could do this would be to come back to the store and pick out my package from "this mess" so that I could redo my order which I was not able to do. I find this absolutely terrible service, especially since I just spent over $100 at their business. I'm really sorry that people patronized your business to the point you were busy and you had to do your job. read more

I am not surprised to see all the negative reviews here and on Google and my experience today assures me they are very well deserved..and that things seem increasingly bad at this location. I came with a very simple task : to return to Amazon items, one after UPS failed to make a delivery attempt. The first package was accepted but no receipt was given and Amazon is investigating what they did with the package. The other item had an appropriate label but the store insisted it was not. The paper itself stated ''or bring this label to a UPS store'' and I also had a yellow UPS ground label that UPS confirmed is sufficient for a UPS Store regardless of any Amazon documentation. All of this happened after waiting a significant period of time with just one person in front of me and atleast 6 employees standing around in the back clearly doing nothing. I advised the employee that the document was indeed sufficient at which time he asked me to lower my voice and watch my language (English?) and another employee chimed in as well stating the document needed was something else..a fact that both Amazon and UPS confirm is not the case. They simply did not take the time to review the documentation correctly most likely due to the laziness demonstrated prior. As an update, the other item I returned at this location has now been confirmed as received as I write this. I would urge anyone going to the UPS Store on Honeygo to read not just my review but all the reviews here and be prepared to be insistent with these belligerent ignorant individuals to do their job as if they don't you'll have to deal with alternative pick-up like I did after all the time lost going to and in their store. read more
